Penny woke up the next morning to the relief of her husband. The brothers had remained at the hospital though Harry had gone home. He returned though in the morning but he had his daughter to think of. Draco made sure to have Malfoy security at the hospital all night. He knew though Percy was a prat, Harry would want him and Penny safe, for his brothers. Percy didn't need to go to trial as he had already testified with his memories. The trial for all three was a mere formality that day, Albus in the afternoon. Percy decided to stay with his wife, while his dad and brothers went to court. Even though her dad arrived, Penny was not anxious for her husband to leave, still shaken from everything.

Harry knew he didn't need to be at trial all day but he would go. Hermione and Molly were facing court in the morning and it was a simple matter. They had been tried with truth serum, after all the evidence, and put the nail in their own coffin.

Harry watched them enter. "Finally."

Draco reminded him. "Albus is later."

George understood. "They hurt you too."

Harry watched as Ron was led in too. "I thought them family."

Charlie reminded him. "Did one thing right."

Bill agreed. "Made you family."

George reminded them. "He was in quidditch with us."

Harry smiled. "They have a point."

Lord Bones looked at both women. "You are found guilty of breaking and entering, assault and attempted murder."

Hermione was in a rage. "We didn't try to kill anyone."

Molly agreed. "Just scare them."

"If not for the actions of your accomplice, your victim could have been killed."

Hermione shot her husband a nasty look. "Traitor."

Ron was furious. "You used me."

Lord Bones quieted the room. "Time for the sentencing."

Hermione and Molly were the ones who broke into the house, using stolen floo codes, and set the trap. Ron had got his hands on the spell for them though. He had found it on the black market and had known what it would do. But fearing the women meant to do more, he sabotaged the spell. He made it so it should have only been a minor shock. If Penny had not been pregnant, she would have been knocked out, but fine. He had also ensured that Penny had been found. Hermione and Molly had used a spell, so Percy should not have seen his wife, when he entered. It would have worn off, but the baby would have died and possibly her. He was still guilty, but he got a plea, and a much lesser charge.

Hermione and Molly were found guilty of all charges. They were both sentenced to nine years in prison with no chance for parole. For Hermione, who had a small daughter, and dreamed of being a lawyer, the blow was worse. Ron got two years, and another on parole.

Harry asked when they were out. "What will happen with Rose?"

Arthur said. "I am taking her to muggle London tomorrow."

George was surprised. "Muggle London?"

Harry guessed. "Hermione's parents."

Arthur nodded. "They have been granted custody of Rose."

George asked. "I thought you may."

Arthur shook his head. "I am alone and not financially in a place."

George reminded him. "You are moving into my old flat."

Bill agreed. "We can help."

Arthur assured him. "The couple have promised we can all keep contact with her."

Draco looked at Harry. "We should feed you."

Harry shook his head. "I am not hungry."

George agreed with Draco. "There will be dementors later."

"And you have a baby to think of." Remus added.

Harry gave in. "I guess."

Though relieved those two were in prison, his mind was on Albus. They got him to eat but he was soon back in court. Luna and Neville with his gran and her dad, were among the many who came to support. Harry sat between Remus and George, but Draco close, as they heard Albus confess. His memories of Peter, leading to the death of Harry's parents and all the muggles, was the hardest. But he admitted to knowing Sirius was innocent and setting Harry up for the ministry. And to paying Harry's family to neglect him. The list of charges went on and on.

Lord Bones asked. "Do you have anything to say for yourself?"

Albus spat. "I am not sorry. I did what was needed, plain and simple."

Remus held Harry's hand. "He is done."

Harry returned the squeeze. "He will pay for them all."

George wondered. "If mum heard what he said about her brothers and Fred….."

Arthur was pale. "I am not sure it would change much."

Lord Bones called a vote and to no surprise announced. "You have been found guilty of all charges."

Albus was in a rage. "This is a farce."

"Albus Dumbledore you have been sentenced to the kiss."

Harry let out a breath. "Thank Merlin."

Remus motioned to Harry. "We should get home."

Harry looked at the others. "Are you coming for dinner?"

Bill nodded. "After we tell Percy."

Arthur said. "I can. You guys go to dinner."

Arthur knew better then to ask for an invite to dinner. He had been surprised when George had offered him the old flat. There were a few flats in the building, which George rented out, but his was empty. Percy would have let Arthur move back, they lived there a short time, after kicked out of the Burrow. But Arthur had wanted some space, and didn't want to step on any toes either. The others all headed for the coast for dinner. Harry let out a breath as he took his daughter into his arms and knew she was safe. Ginny was out there but no real concern. He could really start to live.

Both he and Remus planned to talk to Minerva about work. She wanted Remus to take over for her as she was headmistress, and Harry DADA.

Harry looked at his daughter. "I think it time I make a trip to Surrey."

Draco, George and Remus accompanied Harry and Bree the next day. It could have waited but Harry decided not to. He wanted to move on and this was a start. They had already arranged to meet with Minerva about the school as well. Draco couldn't deny he would be happy, having Harry teach in September, it late July now. Harry's birthday was fast approaching and they planned to celebrate. He had not celebrated ever really. They had a small one in Canada last year, but just Teddy and Remus, this year would be more.

They headed to London with Bree. Teddy was visiting with his grandparents who were not working that day. Bree of course came, was as much part of this, as Harry was. Harry had promised himself he would come back when it was safe.

Remus wondered. "Are you sure?"

George nodded. "We could just see Arabella."

Harry shook his head. "I am sure."

Draco squeezed his arm. "We are here."

Vernon appeared in the door. "Harry?"

Harry turned. "Uncle Vernon."

The man smiled. "Come in."

Petunia appeared. "Harry."

Harry was surprised by the hug. "Hi Aunty."

She pulled back. "The spell worked."

"I thought they told you."

Vernon assured him. "Remus did."

"But to see you with my own eyes." Petunia explained.

Harry smiled. "I would have come sooner if safe."

Petunia saw Bree. "Your daughter?"

Harry took her from Draco. "This is Bryony."

He allowed the woman to hold his daughter. For a moment he thought about Arthur and knew perhaps he was wrong. Petunia had wronged him a lot and he let her hold Bree. But he knew Petunia had been forced into it, and he knew she was genuine, last time he had come here. Arthur had helped him and cared but he willingly hurt Harry a lot. With time he hoped he'd feel comfortable to allow the man to see his granddaughter. She had Remus and Ted as grandfathers, but Arthur may one day be able to have a small role in her life. But for now he wasn't ready.

Dudley was in the sitting room and they joined him. Harry explained in short, what had happened. Petunia was relieved her nephew was alive and that he was finally safe. She was so happy he came back and she could try and make up for the past.

She smiled. "Your mother would have loved her so much."

Harry had tears. "I wish she was here."

Remus said. "I am sure she would be happy you two made peace."

Vernon actually agreed. "She was always the peace maker."

Petunia handed Harry a gift. "I had hoped to see you."

Harry found a little glass plant, a vine with little flowers, as well a pink chenille bunny. "This looks like Bryony flowers."

Petunia smiled. "I may have had help."

Remus shrugged. "I told her."

Harry hugged her. "Thank you."

Petunia kissed his cheek. "Your mother and I got the same when we were little."

Vernon said as they went to leave. "You are welcome back."

Petunia agreed. "With your family."

Harry assured her. "I would like to continue."

Arabella was surprised to see him. "I heard rumors."

Harry hugged the old woman. "I thought I better tell you."

The woman had been kind to him and had kept him safe. He got treats and got to watch television with her, not like at home. He thought to at least let her know that he was alive. She smiled to see Bree and was genuinely happy he was alive. When they left they headed for Andromeda's house for lunch. They were expecting Severus to join them, but were surprised to find Minerva was there as well.

Minerva smiled. "I thought I would come to you."

Harry smirked. "Never knew you were so determined."

Andromeda motioned. "Lunch is waiting."

Remus eyed the woman. "Come to us?"

Minerva laughed. "You knew I was not going to rest until you signed these."

Harry smirked. "We have a meeting in a few days."

Minerva shrugged. "May worry you will change your mind."

George laughed. "You were considering quidditch."

Severus smirked. "Should consider it."

Harry turned to him. "And why is that?"

Draco understood. "He is scared to teach with you on staff."

Severus didn't find laughter funny. "A marauder and a mini one."

Remus shook his head. "I believe you encouraged me to take it."

Severus didn't deny it. "The one marauder I can handle."

Minerva would retire in a few years and when she did, Severus would be headmaster. It would be good timing, as Draco would be done his apprenticeship, seven years to be a first class, and take over for him. Lucius knew his son wouldn't work with him for years and was happy. Harry and Remus were happy, all joking aside, to sign. Harry would enjoy teaching, and it would be good for him and Bree. He blushed when George mentioned it would mean he would be closer to Draco. Harry would only admit, that would make Bree very happy.

Draco took Bree into his lap. "Now trials, reunions and jobs are out of the way, time to focus on the birthday boy in two days."
