Chapter 21

Severus' POV

Once we returned to Witches Moon I glanced at Isabella and Aro. Isabella was clearly exhausted after the day's events. I needed to find some help so I can get the potions for her and the ones for the Hospital Wing done. Mmmm, maybe Hermione and Draco could help me; they're the best potion students I've had in a while. I'll see how Hermione takes the news about Draco at the meeting tonight and go from there. I noticed Jane take Isabella tote bag from Aro and headed inside. Why Aro lead Isabella to the gardens. It wasn't difficult to see that Isabella meant the world to Aro and it was clear that he loved their unborn children. If I survive this war I just might talk to Aro about being turned.

Bella's POV

When we got back to Witches Moon Aro handed Jane my tote bag. And then lead me to the gardens. I tried reading his mind but he was thinking in a language I didn't know. What was he being so secretive about and my father seemed to be in the middle of it? I snapped out of my thoughts when Aro stopped walking, we were standing by the marble bench that was surrounded by lilies. Wait a minute this was my favorite spot growing up. My father WAS in the middle of this, how else Aro could have found out about this spot. Aro leads me to the bench so I could sit down. I could tell that Aro still seemed to be lost in his thoughts, so I reached up to one of the lilies that had yet to fully bloom and ran my fingertip along the partly opened bud. I continued to do this until I sense as well as felt Aro move. I looked to see that Aro was no longer beside me, but kneeling on one knee in front of me. He grasped my left hand in his, and looked into my eyes.

"Isabella, you mean the world to me. When you returned to Volterra I didn't think I could be any happier. But then the news of hearing that I was going to be a father filled me with complete joy. You've made me the happiest man in the muggle and wizarding world. Will you do me the honor of becoming my wife and queen?" he asked taking the ring out of his pocket. His voice was soft, gentle, and nervous.

"Yes Aro, yes. Yes I will marry you!" I cried. He slides the ring onto my left ring finger and stood up. I leapt up locking my lips with his; he wrapped his arms around my wrist and gently pulled me closer to him. When breathing became a need for me I pulled away. Once I got my breathing under control, I looked up at him.

"Te amo." (I love you.) I tell him. He looked surprised for a moment that I spoke in Latin.

" Cum te amo, mi dulcis Isabella." (As I love you, my dear sweet Isabella.) He replied with a smile.

"We best get back inside before Jane and Alec come looking for me. I promised them that I would teach them some spells. Would you like to join us?" I tell him/asked.

"Yes, I think I would like to join you." he replied. Just as he picked me up and ran to the entrance of the Manor from the gardens. Once inside Aro placed me back on my feet, and we headed for the sitting room. When we arrived to the sitting room I looked around. Jane, Alec, and Draco were reading one of their textbooks. Felix and Demetri were playing wizard's chess and Santiago was watching them. My grandmother was nowhere to be seen, she's probably in the library again. And my father was sitting in an armchair working on his lesson plans something that I still needed to do. When I approached Jane and Alec that were sitting on the sofa that was next to my father's armchair he looked up at us.

"Well?" my father asked.

"Well, what?" I replied with what I hoped was an innocence look as I kept my hands hidden from his sight. But Draco must have caught a glimpse of the ring.

"Isa, I think what Uncle Sev is asking is if you accepted Aro's marriage proposal." Draco asked with a smirked. This got everyone else attention, including my grandmothers who came running out of the library.

"Did I hear something about a marriage proposal?" my grandmother asked.

"Yes and yes." I replied.

"Mmm, okay you lost me, what are they talking about?" Felix asked. Looking around at the others in the room. I just rolled my eyes.

"Yes, grandmother you heard something about a marriage proposal." I said looking at my grandmother. "Yes, I accepted Aro's marriage proposal." I said as I grabbed a sandwich off the plate that was sitting on the coffee table. It was quite for about five seconds before the congratulations started. I just wanted to eat in peace. Draco, must have noticed the shift in my mood, because he came to my rescue.

"I think the congratulations can wait until the meeting tonight when the others find out. Right now, I think Isa would like to eat in peace." Draco told them.

"Thank you, Draco." I replied. Then I took a bite of my sandwich. Aro sat down beside me as he handed me a goblet of blood.

"Lady Isabella, why does Draco call you Isa?" Santiago asked.

"Draco has called me Isa ever since he learned how to talk. And since he is pretty much family he's not required to address me with my title unless I say otherwise. The same goes for Jane and Alec since their family as well. I'll be telling Rosalie and Kate the same thing at the meeting." I replied.

"May Jane and I call you Isa as well?" Alec asked.

"It's alright with me. Just don't call me Izzy you've be warned." I replied.

"What would happen if that called you that, Lady Isabella?" Felix asked.

"Ask Draco." I replied with a smirk towards Draco. My father started chuckling while slightly shaking his head. He knew what happened he was there when it happen.

"What would happen?" Demetri asked this time directing his question at Draco.

She'll turn your hair to unnatural color. She turned mine purple for two weeks." Draco replied with a slight blush.

Once I finished off two sandwiches and my goblet of blood, I summoned my copy of standard book of spells which had seen better days. I noticed that Felix and Demetri were looking at me then at the stairs.

"What?" I asked.

"How did you do that, Lady Isabella?" Felix asked with wide eyes as he pointed at the spell book.

"Lady Isabella used a wandless, nonverbal spell." Jane replied. Setting her potions book down.

"Very good, Jane. Do you know what the advantage of a nonverbal spell is?" My father asked. Oh great he was in teacher mode.

"The advantage is the person you are facing will not know what you are going to cast like they would if you said the spell out loud." Jane replied. My father smiled he actually smiled.

"Congratulations Jane, you managed to get my father to smile which is a rarity." I told her.

"I have a reason to be happy Isabella. Now that I know you'll be taking care of, if I end up getting killed in this war." my father said.

"FATHER, YOU PROMISED ME YOU WOULD BE CAREFUL IN THIS WAR! DON'T GO TAKING YOUR PROMISE BACK NOW! NOT WHEN I'VE BEEN HAVING VISIONS OF MUM SOME HOW COMING BACK!" I yelled/cried. My father was out of his chair and holding me before I finished.

"Isabella, Angel I said if. I didn't say I was going to go and get myself killed. And what do you mean you've been having visions of your mum coming back. When did these visions start?" he replied/asked. I had to get my breathing under control before I could answer him.

"The visions of mum started months ago after I first met Aro. I've recently started having visions of Aro's sister Didyme coming back as well." I replied as I leaned into Aro. My father just summoned his Patronus and sent it to get Xenophilius. When Xenophilius arrived father turned to him.

"Xenophilius, did you check to see what gifts the triplets would have?" father asked.

"No, I didn't. Why?" he replied/asked.

"Because after what Isabella has told me about some visions. I think one of them may have the ability to bring back the dead." father said. I looked at Aro to see his reaction, he looked worried. I couldn't blame him if one of the babies had the ability to bring back the dead this could be a bad thing if it got to the wrong people. Xenophilius, looked at Aro and me.

"Do both of you want to know the triplets gifts?" he asked. I looked at Aro and took his hand dropping my shield. He nodded and we looked up at Xenophilius.

"It would probably be best that way we know how or find a way to keep their gifts under control. " Aro replied. Xenophilius nodded and come around the sofa. He waved his wand over my stomach and the parchment soon appeared. He looked at the parchment and nodded his head.

"You were right Severus. One of the girls as the ability, though it looks like it can be easily control as long as she's watched." Xenophilius said.

"Really?" I asked hopefully.

"Yes, she can only bring the dead back by touching an object that belonged to that person." he replied.

"Well that helps with keeping the gift under control. What of the other girl and the boy?" Aro replied/asked.

"The other girl has the ability to see someone's past and future by touch. And the boy's ability is to enhance another's ability by touch. It would probably be best if this information didn't go any farther then this manor or to others that can be trusted with the information." he replied.

"Agreed." we all replied at once. And then Xenophilius left to teach the Cullen's and Denali's more about the magical world. After that I spent the next two and a half hours working with Aro, Jane, and Alec. They learned the spells pretty quickly. So far Aro seemed to be a master in Defense and Charms. Jane also seemed to master Defense and to my father's and grandmother's amusement the way she kept asking when we could start working on potions she will probably master Potions as well. She also seemed to be interested in Ancient Runes. Alec was doing quite well in Defense as well and Transfiguration. He also seemed to be interested in Herbology When Albus' phoenix Patronus showed up at six. Informing us of the emergency order meeting. My father dealt with telling them where the Headquarters of the Order of the Phoenix was located. And then we all left to go to Headquarters.
