You awoke, still surrounded by a wave of darkness. The only thing that offered any source of light was the heart monitor and that still only illuminated the immediate things in range. You opened your eyes but closed them quickly. It burned your eyes to try and look at something and it caused them to start filling with tears. After trying to pry them apart, the burning died down and you looked around the room. Well, tried.

Alone.

You pressed the call button, which was strangely in a much different place from last time you were in the basement. As you waited, a chubby, red-headed nurse walked into the room.

"Yes, Missus Y/N? What'cha need?" She asked, standing by your bedside in her fierce southern accent.

"Where... Where am I?" As soon as you spoke you broke into a violent coughing fit.

"Try not to speak. Yer at Rosswood County Medical Facility, dear. You and some of yer friends were burned real bad in a house fire but I see that... I see that you've made a very speedy recovery." She said as she eyed your arms and legs.

"I... I was burned?" You asked, curiously.

"Worst lookin' 2nd degree burns I ever seen. But they're gone now... I have no idea how that's possible but yer friends are the same. Mr. Jeffrey, the black haired fella with huge eyes, he had 3rd degree burns all over his chest and now... Well, now he's hittin' on my co-workers." She said, chuckling. "I guess it's the new antibiotics the hospital is usin' er somethin' of that nature."

You nodded, trying to remember the events of the last couple hours.

"May I ask where my friend... Brian might be? Black hair, green eyes." You explained.

"Oh, Honey. I don't really know now that I think about it. No one like that has- Oh wait! Really big, bright green eyes and real pale?" She asked. You nodded.

"Room B17. You're in B12. Most of your friends and family are on this hall. When yer ready to go and see 'em, just holler for me, alright?"

You nodded again and asked for a glass of water. She went to bring you some and before she came back, you wondered if Hoodie was alright. You sighed and felt the tears start to come but you quickly regained composure when she came back in the room. She handed you the water and asked if you needed anything else as you drank some of the water. The cold liquid felt amazing as it hit your dry, parched throat and you smiled into the glass. You shook your head after you put the glass on your nightstand and the woman left the room, most likely going to check on someone else.

You sat there in the dimly lit hospital bedroom, staring at the ceiling as the tears from earlier started pouring down the sides of your face. You let out small whimpers as you wondered if Hoodie was alright. You were so scared to think that he might be hurt that you couldn't hold back your emotions and let the tears flow even harder. You cried for what seemed like an eternity before you drifted off into a deep sleep.

*Is the girl alright?*

~I don't know. Being around the creepypastas gave her a type of immunity to having severe wounds so she's fine physically but... She's broken.~

*All because of a boy?*

~He isn't just a boy, V. He is all she has left. No family, no friends, and the cops are after her. Good thing Slenderman performed a conversion ritual on her before she came in the hospital or she would be incarcerated by now. I must say, this purple and blue hair doesn't really suit her skin tone.~

*I guess to her he isn't just a boy. And yes, the blue and purple does not look good. Neither does the new nose or lips.*

~Hush now, V. We have more important matters to discuss.~

~Slenderman's P.O.V~

I walked with Splendor through the ruins of the mansion. I didn't show it or say anything, but I was devastated. All of the kids' belongings, all my suits, all our memories in this home, Gone. All gone. Splendor was surprised I didn't take the pastas to the hospital or at least go check on them but I know they're fine. I guess it was a blessing in disguise when I forced them to learn the conversion ritual in order to change their appearance.

As Splendor pulled out the remains of Sally's teddy bear, it dawned on me to question who started this fire. I already did know, however. That damn Macht and his little militia of pathetic humans. Half of them were dead (and digested, haha). I also know how they were able to locate us. The picture Liu had given Jeff one year, before Jeff's "accident", had been bugged with a GPS tracking device and wired with a small camera in the left eye of Jeff. I told Jeff to throw it out, seeing as though he can never revert back to his past life but the little bastard held onto it. I guess the love of family is stronger than Jeff's mental illness.

I found myself cursing under my breath at Macht. I knew I had to find that bastard before any more of the creepypastas were hurt. And I think I know just how to do it.

~Your P.O.V~

You awoke two hours later, your face sticky from the crying. You dabbed at your face with the corner of your blanket and looked around, seeing you were still surrounded by the darkness. You sat up and sighed, wondering what the hell you were still doing here. You got off the hospital bed with ease and took the cell phone you stole from your jacket pocket. You saw that you had a message from Ben.

"What up grl. u ok"

"I'm fine. Just woke up. When r we leaving?"

"Jeff toby and both jacks and me hav left alrdy."

"And the others?"

"Maskys stayin w/ Hoods n sally was with trendy its all ok now. w8ing for hoods to recover. the guys who came home r all at splendy's house. ill pick u up if u want."

"No. I would rather have EJ pick me up. He's mature and not 13 years old."

"Whtvr. bitch. hes on the way now."

"Thanks."

You sighed and got back into bed as you slapped the call button. A moment later, the same red-headed nurse came back in with a smile on her face. "Hello, sweetie. What'cha need?"

"To see my friend in B17." You said professionally.

"Sure, hon. You okay to walk?" She asked kindly.

You stood up and shrugged. "I'm good."

She nodded and started to walk out of the room with you following her. Nothing was said until she brought you to the door of B17 and with a word of hope, she opened the door for you. You walked in slowly and surveyed the room. Grey and Beige except for the blue-ish chair Masky was sleeping in. All boring. You met the eyes of the teenage boy in the hospital bed and felt the tears well up in your eyes again.

"Hoodie..." You said softly, going up to his bedside.

"H-hey, Y/n. You seem well." He spoke so hoarsely.

"Y-yeah... It's amazing, huh?" You smiled at him weakly.

"Li-like you."

You bent down to kiss him on the forehead and felt arms wrap around you. He hugged you tightly and you felt the tears he cried as the seeped into the fabric of the hospital gown. You two just sat there, crying and holding each other. Nothing was said, no words were exchanged at all as you two embraced for what seemed like hours. Then you heard the door open and let go of Hoodie, looking towards a nurse a she stepped towards the two of you. This nurse had wavy, ebony black hair and baby blue eyes.

"A Mr..." She looked down at her clipboard. "Jack Eisenhower is here to take you home, Miss Y/N and Mr. Brian. And I assume Mr. Tim over there is with you." You nodded and left the room to retrieve your clothes and phone. You came back after a couple minutes and saw Hoodie and Masky walking down the hallway to your room.

"Guess it's time to go." Masky said groggily. That made you smile as you walked down the brightly lit hallway, hand in hand with the boy you thought was dead earlier. As you three approached the front desk, you saw Jack in his human form. His skin was only slightly grey, his teeth were normal, and his eyes were now a flourescent blue. He grinned at your trio and led the way towards a beat-up looking Honda civic. Masky took shotgun, leaving you and Hoodie alone in the backseat.

"Oh, Hoodie... Are you alright?" You asked, slipping your arms around his neck as you two sat down.

"I-I'm fine, Y/N. I'm mor-more worried about you than my-myself anyways." He said quietly as he put an arm around your waist. You snuggled in close to him and breathed in deeply, taking in his scent. He smelled like your dad always did, Axe Anarchy. Hoodie pulled you in close and kissed your forehead, whispering that he loved you in your ear. You felt him go limp about five minutes into the car drive home and you held him even tighter as you felt sleep tug at your wary mind. I use this phrase a lot but, it honestly felt like an eternity...

You suddenly woke up in a familiar bed. You smiled and looked around.

"Did I have that dream about creepypastas again?" You asked yourself, running your hand through your messy H/c locks.

"Wh-what was that, baby?" Brian asked, smiling at you as he came into the room holding a tray filled with breakfast goodies (like Fruit Loops).

"Oh, nothing... Nothing at all, Brian." You grinned. "I just realized the man of my dreams was actually a reality." You stated as he kissed you on the cheek.

"Y-You're too good to me. Happy Birthday, Y/n. The others are dow-downstairs. Jeff had a cake for y-your face. Watch out," He said, laughing a bit. You smiled and hugged his neck.

"I'll be down in a minute. Let me freshen up." You said warmly.

"You al-already look beautiful but whatever gi-girl." With a smile, he left the room and softly closed the door. You jumped out of bed and ran into the bathroom, looking in the mirror and chanting what you said every morning for the past couple years.

"Hello, V. Hello, C. It's morning. Time to awake and finally be free." You grinned.

~Good Morning, Y/n.~

*Yes, and Happy Birthday.*

You chuckled. "Thanks." You said as you ran the brush through your bed head. As if on cue, Sally bursted into the bathroom and begged you to braid her hair. She did this every morning but you loved it anyways. You sat her down on the edge of the tub and carefully braided her brown hair in a fish-tail braid. After you finished, she said thank you and ran downstairs. You heard her scream and figured that was Jeff mistaking her for you. Another chuckled slipped through your lips.

Just another day in the life of a creepypasta.

"Come on, bitch! Le's go so we can go get your dumb presents." Ben wailed into your room, obviously jealous that you'd be getting new stuff.

"Shut up, damn it! I'm thinking!" You yelled back at him, walking out of the bathroom. You closed your door back and slipped on a dark blue tank top, some shorts and your favourite black flip-flops. You walked out of the door and caught eyes with Laughing Jack.

"Race down the stairs?" He asked coyly.

"You bet your sweet ass." You said, grinning as you dashed at full speed down the stairs.

"YES!" You screamed as you hit the last stair. "I win!" You started doing your celebratory dance when Jack slapped you upside the head.

"I let you win 'cause it was your birthday." He scoffed. You gave him and quick hug and said "I know" as you ran into the kitchen and took Slendy's place at the head of the table. As you sat down, Eyeless Jack popped a party hat on your head and wished you a happy birthday. You couldn't stop smiling as Splendorman brought out a huge cake with three layers of perfectly purple icing. He placed it in front of you and as soon as it hit the table, all the pastas there broke into a horribly pitched sing-along of "Happy Birthday To You."

"Happy Birthday to you! Happy Birthday to you! Happy birthday dear Y/N, Happy Birthday to you!" You squealed with delight as you blew out your candles and it didn't even dampen your mood when Ben slammed your face into the cake. It gave Hoodie to opportunity to taste the icing anyways!

You felt that warm, fuzzy feeling grow in your chest and surround you heart as you sat there, surrounded by people you love, Your family, on you 21st birthday. Nothing could make the moment more perfect, you thought, but then Hoodie leaned down and kissed you tenderly, even with the icing on your face.

Scratch that from earlier. Just a perfect day in the life of creepypasta named Y/N...
