Edward

She has bought me a piano. She has actually bought me a grand black piano. It sounds absolutely magnificent in the almost empty hall and looks amazing too. The songs I play resonate through me and pleasurable shivers run down my spine. I've missed this. I don't really even remember the last time I got to play properly.

Bella is too kind to me. Way too kind. I've gotten so used to harsh treatment with her that when Bella came into my life it was like I was dreaming it all. She is such a good, beautiful person, inside out.

But that she bought an actual piano just for me makes leaving even harder. I'm going to disappoint her so much and she is going to be so mad. But I rather have her hate me to my guts than not have her in this world at all. She's my number one priority now.

She sits next to me on the cushioned piano bench as I play. She stares at my fingers intensively with a small smile on her lips. She looks almost amazed which makes me blush lightly.

I've been making a song for her whenever she's not around. It's going to be my gift for her even though I know it's nearly not as much as she has done for me. But I'd think it's better than nothing and I really want to give her something.

"You play beautifully, Edward", she complimented me and gave me a kiss on the cheek. I smiled softly at her. She took my hand to get me up. There was an iPod close to her on a small table and she tap on it once and then soft tunes of a piano filled the room. Canzone Popolare I noted.

She wrapped her arm around my back and put the other around my shoulders. I wrapped my arms around her waist. She started swaying from side to side and I moved with her.

"I'd like to listen to you play while we're dancing but that would be pretty hard so this will have to do. I just feel like dancing now even though I can't actually", Bella said with a few giggles and I laughed with her. I rested my head in the crook of her neck and she did the same to me. She was so warm against me. I felt her cool breath tickle the sensitive skin on my neck and it felt very calming and comforting. For a while, I didn't have to think about anything.

Then she stopped as the short song was finished and kissed me properly on my lips this time. Gentle but deep. I tightened my grip on her as I leaned closer to her.

"You dance very well, Bella", I said after our kiss broke. I brushed her brown hair aside from her chocolate eyes with a smirk. It was her turn to blush deep red. "Oh shut up. I'm gonna start on dinner now. You go do what you do or would you like to help me?" she asked and started making her way to the kitchen.

I grabbed my other arm awkwardly and nervously not knowing what I should say.

I didn't want to cook the food, because that would just make resenting it harder, but I also wanted to help Bella because she always had to do the cooking by herself.

"I guess I can. I don't have anything else to do", I responded eventually and followed her. She seemed giddy now. "Nice. Well, we're gonna make oven cooked vegetables with some potato slices. You can rinse the greens while I start peel the potatoes, okay", she said and began swiftly moving in the kitchen grabbing different stuff from different cupboards. I barely knew where the knives were.

I went to the fridge to get the vegetables and went to the sink with them and did as Bella told me to. She put the oven on and then started to peel the organic potatoes. I think I should mention this that Bella is very into organic food and tries to eat meat as little as she can, but says that burgers are the forbidden fruit for her and can't resist them.

We made small talk while preparing everything and just as Bella made one of her horrible jokes to we laughed harder than we should have there was a knock on the door. A very demanding knocker seemed to be behind the door and we both looked at each other in wonder of who could it be.

A terrible feeling landed in my stomach and I felt freezing suddenly. Bella wiped her peeling knife on a towel and washed her hands before walking over to the door with a frown. I dropped the red pepper I was holding in my hands to the floor when she opened the door to reveal the seemingly inpatient and angry visitor.

It was her.
