Welcome to chapter 21... I think I don't know I think I messed up on what chapter I was on a while ago... Yolo.

Nothing much else... Just an epic battle chapter.

Grim slowly opened his eyes and looked around. The staircase he was in had turned from stone to some sort of lacrima.

He noticed that his friends had passed out from Etherion hitting the tower. Kisaragi's consciousness had returned to Grim's mind.

Thinking of the demon hunter he looked at himself and saw he was back in his human form everything was normal... Then came the pain.

He felt as if his blood had turned into lava and as if lightning was being conducted through his bones.

After a full minute of this agonizing pain he fell to his knees with his skin smoking. He was breathing deeply while trying to figure out what happened.

"Must... Have been... The transformations..." He huffed as he stood up and shook his head to clear it.

He turned towards the wall in the side of the stairs and kicked it with enough force to make a good sized hole in it.

He gazed out over the water and saw the boat that everyone was on. He used magic force to send the two limp bodies of Konoka and Kasoru to the boat.

He had an idea that would mess with the two of them. He set them up so Konoka was leaning on Kasoru's shoulder while his arm was around her.

"What a nice couple... Now time to save my girl!" Grim turned and charged up the stairs with renewed vigor.

He burst into a room exposed to the air and saw Jellal aiming the spell Abyss Break at Erza and Natsu.

The two were beaten already and wouldn't be able to avoid the blow if Jellal fired. Before he could react Jellal fired the spell and a blur flew past him.

Abyss Break hit the wide open form of someone standing in front of Erza and exploded sending a shockwave through the area.

After the initial light of the magic exploding Simon was revealed protecting Erza from the blast. He fell backwards onto the ground where Erza bent over him yelling his name and... Crying... Erza was crying.
His heartbeat was all he could hear as his mind slowed down.

Thud-thud

Erza was hurt.

Thud-thud

His friend was dead

Thud-thud

Jellal caused both

Thud-thud

DEATH!

THUD-THUD-THUD-THUD-THUD-THUD!

Grim charged forwards and slammed his shoulder into Jellal's side. Jellal flew into a wall on the other side of the chamber.

"RRRRAAAAAGGGHHHHHHH" Grim gave out a beastly cry as a primal feeling built up inside him.

Jellal stood up and threw off his coat to face the rage maddened wizard saint. He charged forward expecting his speed to be fast enough to evade Grim's attacks.

Grim disappointed him as his rage was fulling his speed. Grim head butted Jellal in the stomach sending him flying into the air.

Jellal prepared another Abyss Break as he was thrown into the air. When Grim jumped into the air in pursuit he activated it at point blank contact with Grim's face.

The spell exploded sending Grim hurtling backwards into the ground where he rolled and collapsed on the ground. He was still weakened by Etherion and his skills were inhibited by his rage.

"You idiot. There was never anyway you could beat me." Said Jellal kicking Grim over onto his side.

Jellal proceeded to go over to Erza to put her into the lacrima as a sacrifice. He stopped as he felt an overwhelming fear unlike anything he ever felt before. He slowly turned to see Grim on all fours and yelling out in agony.

"RRRRRAAAAGGGGHHHHHHH!" Grim todo up clutching his head in pain as he began to be enveloped in a bright red glow.

The red glow exploded outward pushing everyone in the room backwards. Grim was laying on the ground again. He flashed his teeth and stood up again shaking in pain. His pupils were just slits now and his eyes were slanted more than usual.

His skin now looked to be made of scales and his hands had claws for nails. His jacket was torn to make way for the spikes that were now coming out of his back. With a loud tearing noise a reptilian tail emerged from behind and swished on the ground.

He took in a deep breath and let out another loud roar. This time it shook the tower and sent a wave of energy flying over the water where the people on the boat were looking in fear and awe.

"Wha-what happened?" Lucy asked turning towards Scurge and Crysis. But their eyes were wide and they were looking in shock at Geim who they could see now had a TAIL.

"I-I've never seen Grim like this!" Said Crysis as he put on his magic reading goggles and looked at Grim's magic.

Grim's power was blasting out of him in a combination of blue, black, and red in Crysis's vision. His goggles cracked from the overload.

"It's like he has transformed into a combination of a Dragon, Human, and Demon!" He said putting away his ruined goggles.

Scurge fell backwards onto the boat.

"He-he wasn't lying!? He really is half dragon!" He yelled out.

"What do you mean?" Asked Gray. "Isn't Natsu part dragon too?"

"Now he has dragon MAGIC. Igneel isn't his blood father, but he is Grim's blood father." Said Crysis.

Back in the tower.

Natsu looked at his brother in awe. He felt the same magic energy he used to feel around their father Igneel.

Grim charged at Jellal and smashed his forehead into Jellal's.

Grim was beating the man who sent Natsu to his knees. He had to help.

Jellal ground his fist into Grim's stomach but it had no effect. Grim bit Jellal's shoulder and tossed into the ground.

Natsu looked at a large chunk of lacrima in front of him. Maybe... He began to eat.

Jellal fell back clutching his shoulder. Then he felt another powerful aura appear. He looked to see Natsu turning Into his dragon force mode.

He looked back to see a clawed fist slamming him down Into the ground. Grim then slammed into him and began to repeatedly smash his fist into Jellal's face slowly sending them both down from floor to floor.

Soon Jellal was knocked unconscious and he fell to the ground as Grim jumped back up to the top floor.

Natsu began to welcome his brother before noticing the feral look in his eyes. Grim lashed out at him but Natsu dodged out of the way.

"Grim! Stop it's me!" He yelled as he dodged more blows from Grim.

Grim continued to keep attacking without stopping as his eyes looked less and less human.

"I SAID STOP!" Yelled Natsu smashing his fist into Grim's cheek sending him flying into a large lacrima.

Before Grim could begin attacking again the lacrima started to glow as it absorbed his magic and he began to turn more human.

Grim fell to the ground on all fours breathing heavily. Natsu was about to approach him before he noticed the lacrima of the tower beginning to destabilize.

"What's going on?" He asked turning to Erza.

"Etherion isn't meant to be stored. It will explode soon." She said standing up and walking over to a lacrima.

"Maybe I can-" she began to say before she was pulled back by something.

"No." Said Grim as he floated the two of them away to the boat. "I'll handle the tower I destroyed it once I can do it again." He placed them on the boat as they attempted to get back.

"No! Grim you. Ant do it it will explode!" Said Erza crying.

"This is too much even for you!" Yelled Natsu.

Grim just waved goodbye as he pushed out a wave to send his family and friends to safety.

He got serious and jumped down in front of the tower and landed at the bottom.

"Let's hope I can still use this strength." He said as he stuck his hand into the ground and heaved.

The tower rose into the air and he rested it on his shoulders and began to run on his own magic force to get the tower far away.

Crysis looked down sadly.

"10"

The lacrima began to glow.

Grim used his legs to jump high into the air with the tower.

Sho began to Cry with Erza.

Scurge looked down in rage that he couldn't eat that much energy.

Natsu clenched his fists

Lucy covered her mouth as tears came to her eyes.

Gray gritted his teeth.

A rain cloud formed over Juvia.

"2"

"Not dandy at all." Said Blockhead.

The lacrima tower flared brightly and exploded.

"0"

Just as they were going to turn from the area the tower exploded time seemed to slow down.

Grim was flying through the air past them with his arms flailing and his tail curled around a body... It was Simon. Grim had question marks flying over his head as the group slowly turned towards their friend.

Time resumed pace and Grim and Simon launched into the main island beach.

"...ROW FOR LAND!" Yelled Erza as Scurge, Natsu, and Crysis remembered they were on a form of transformation and fell down onto the boat.

Later at dawn.

They found Grim with his head stuck in a boulder and himself using his legs and arms a braces to pull his head out but failing. His tail was squirming around as he pulled more and more.

Simon was on the beach below him with treated wounds. Suddenly Grim pulled his head out and fell backwards on top of Scurge and Crysis.

"Wow what a soft beach." Said Grim reclining on the bodies of his team. He seemed to have lost all of his transformation other than his tail.

"GET OFF ME!" Yelled Scurge sending both Crysis and Grim flying up.

"Grim you have a tail now!" Said Natsu and Happy with stars in their eyes.

"I know right!" Said Grim with stars in his eyes too.

"Grim!" Yelled Erza running forward to hug her boyfriend.

"Hello!" He said hugging her back.

"Do you know how Simon got treated?" She asked looking at her old friend.

"I treated him while we were flying through the air." He said

"What!" She looked at him in shock.

"Anyway my neck hurts! Let's go get some food and rest!" Grim said marching off towards the resort.

End.

Woo! I don't know why but I really wanted Grim to have a tail for the longest time. Also he needed to have more dragon aspect since he's half dragon.
