Chapter 20 - Let the games begin

Furipa looked at herself in the mirror. She was dressed in the outfit Bulma gave her just a few days before. She looked back at the outfit Mister Piccolo gave her. She thought best to leave it behind since she had grown to like the outfit. She took one last look at herself. The bad thing about the outfit she was wearing was that it was a bit tight. Furipa sweatdropped. She wondered if the older woman had made that on purpose.

She sighed and walked out her room. She walked towards the living room, looking at her grandma, who was sitting on the couch. The older woman looked at her with a mixture of worry and sadness. Getting up, she hugged her."Please...Do you really need to go, I mean, there are already many people going to fight him..." Furipa smiled in sadness and hugged her back.

"I have to. The more the better. Besides, I have a deal I need to fulfill." with that said, she let go of her. "I promise I'll try my very best to come back home." The old woman nodded as she started to cry. "P-Please be careful. Promise me that, at least." Furipa nodded who hugged her one more time. She then looked down at the small dog.

Leaning down, she pet him on the head. "Wish me luck Sparky." The small dog barked and Furipa nodded. She then turned towards the door. "Mister Piccolo's here. I have to go." Turning once more to the old woman, she gave her a small kiss on the forehead and left for the door.

Piccolo turned his head once he heard the door open. "Are you ready? If so, come on." Furipa nodded and before taking off, she gave one last look at her grandmother and pet. She smiled at them and then floated up, following Piccolo's lead, to meet with the others.

In Goku's home, the same was finishing gearing up. "Well, I better go." he said, walking out of his home. Chichi ran up to him. "Be careful out there Goku. Come back safely." she said, looking at him worriedly. "Hey, don't worry." he said, turning around to face her. "Promise me Gohan will not fight." Chichi suddenly said, taking him off guard. "Huh well..." Goku started. "Goku, you have to promise me Gohan won't get involved." she begged.

Goku stood there for a minute staring before he toke off running, shouting a "Gotta run!" making Chichi yell at him. "Goku wait!" she tried to call him back until she saw him instantly disappear into thin air. "Oh no, he didn't even promise me, and that means..." she didn't continue, but knowing full well what Goku might do.

On the lookout, Piccolo, Trunks, Gohan, Krillin, Furipa, Mister Popo and Dende waited. Furipa looked at Trunks, memories from yesterday coming up. 'I still can't believe I had my first kiss with Trunks...' she thought, a small blush starting to creep up on her cheeks. Trunks too was off in his little own world. 'I actually kissed her...and wow, that outfit looks amazing on her...What am I doing, I can't be thinking of stuff like this!...But that outfit reaaally looks so good on her...' he thought, as he slowly glanced at her. When she looked back at him, he looked away, his face becoming red as well.

Everyone turned when they saw Goku reappear behind them. "D-Dad!" Gohan shouted. "Alright!" shouted Krillin. Goku smiled. "Today's the day." he said but then looked around. "Huh? Where's Vegeta?"

"He went on ahead." Piccolo simply said. Goku smiled again. "I see huh? He must be pumped up from all his training. So what level is he at?" he asked him. Everyone stood quiet as they weren't quite sure of what to answer. "Hey guys, what's with the silent treatment? Huh, anybody want to explain?" he asked again. "Goku, we seem to have a bit of a snag here. It's about the Dragon..." Krillin started. "See, Dende made it so the people killed by Cell could be brought back to life with one wish."

"Yeah?" Goku pressed on. "But unlike on Namek, this dragon can't restore life on anyone who has died before." Krillin said, looking down. "I'm sorry...I should have told you before I made it Goku." Dende apologized. Goku looked at them in silence. He then smiled. "Don't worry, nothing's gonna happen. He's not gonna beat us guys!" he said. Furipa stared at him. 'How the heck can this man be so optimistic? It's unreal.' she thought. "Hello!? We are fighting Cell here!" Krillin remembered. "Hey, just take it easy. Now let's hurry up or we are gonna be late." Goku then turned around and began to flew away.

Everyone stared at eachother. Krillin and Gohan followed him suit, next to Mister Piccolo. Furipa and Trunks stood behind. "Well...Let's go." he said at her, giving her a small smile. Furipa smiled back a bit, then turned to Mister Popo and Dende. "Hey guys, can you do me a favor?" Dende looked up at her. "What is it that you wish, Miss Furipa?" Popo asked. "If...If don't make it, can you please take care of my grandma and Sparky? I'd feel better knowing they are in good hands..."

"Furipa..." Trunks grabbed her hand gently in an attempt to reassure her. "You heard Goku, everything will be fine." Furipa turned to him. "I'd still feel better if they would get her somewhere safe." she then turned to the again. "Can you please promise me?" she asked again. Mister Popo and Dende looked at eachother but turned to her with smiles. "We will. Do not worry." Mister Popo said as Dende nodded. Furipa smiled more as she turned to Trunks. "Okay, let's go." Trunks nodded as he let go of her hand and the two toke off after the rest of the group.

Cell stood in the center of his ring. Today was the day. He couldn't be more excited. 'Ahh, Goku...The day of Judgement is at last at hand.' he mused to himself. Today was the day he'd finally put all his waiting aside and see how much his opponents had progressed within the 7 days that he gave them. He was particularly anxious to see how the girl would act in a real fight. This time there were no safety nets for her.

He was still annoyed by what had happened yesterday. She had skipped his training to be with Trunks. He was really angered by her decision. He thought she had more backbone in her than to skip training and doing something so trivial as "going out". But what had angered him the most was the feelings she was invoking in him. He did not need these feelings. It irked him that she was doing this to him, and what better way to stop these feelings? Exterminate the source.

Meanwhile, on one of the hills near the ring, a camera man and a reporter slowly approached.

"Here we are, just twenty minutes away from the start of the Cell Games and by the looks of it, no one seemed to show up to watch for fear of their lives." The camera then zoomed in to Cell's figure. "As you can see, Cell continues to stand in the middle of the ring without moving a muscle. And with not a lot of time left until the opening bell, we're still awaiting the arrival of the people's grand champion, the one and only, Hercule Satan."

In the distance, a large cloud of smoke began to gather. "Huh? Wait a minute...Yes! Someone's coming!" the reporter announced. A black car approached the ring, stopping once near enough. It's door opened. From inside came out the very same person the reporter spoke about.

Hercule Satan.

"Ladies and gentlemen, is here!" he shouted. then looked up, spotting the camera man and the reporter. He then pumped his fist up, in a confident manner, shouting a 'Yeah'. "So put your hands together for !" the reporter gladly shouted back, as everyone who was watching shouted and cheered for the man.

The reporter then continued to follow his next move. " is now making his way to the ring." Cell watched closely as the man dared to approach him. He then stopped right before the ring. "You're going down!" the man shouted as he pointed a finger at Cell, then pointed his thumb downwards in a insulting manner.

The reporter shouted. "WOAH! Ladies and gentlemen, the tournament's about to begin! And is already declaring his victory. But wait folks, even when the world's most strongest man's about to challenge him, Cell remains as calm as a cucumber."

Cell looked at the man before him. 'Is this the challenge Earth has to offer? I hope Goku is far more entertaining than this.' he thought. "Well then. Let's begin." he said. "So it looks like Cell's anxious to put the show on the road. And so are we, ladies and gentlemen, LET THE ULTIMATE GAMES BEGIN!" shouted the reporter.

Before the fight even began, Mister Satan looked at the reporter and mentioned them to come closer. Being persuaded by him, the two then slid down the hill and came closer. "So huh, I supposed I should thank you for the ring sided seats, Mister Satan." thanked the reporter. "Come on up here. And quickly." Mister Satan ordered. "Sure, whatever you say." the reporter agreed reluctantly as he stepped inside the ring. Once close, he placed his microphone near Mister Satan. "So, huh, are you ready for the fight Mister Satan? Any last remarks?" he asked him.

smirked. "I'd like to give Cell my condolences. It's too bad my unworthy opponent didn't know that I existed before he started this tournament of his." he mused. 'Maybe if I ignore him, he'll go away.' thought Cell. "Anything else?" the reporter asked again. "I'll give him one last chance to back out, he might think he's a true champ, but he is just a chump." he joked. Everyone watching cheered him on for his taunt.

"Listen up you bum, you are going down in the first round! I know you beat the royal military but planting bombs before hand, I know all your stupid parlor tricks, and I'm not impressed." Cell remained silent. He figured he'd just let him have a few minutes of glory before he'd crush him.

"I can't believe he won't respond." the reported said. chuckled. "He's just upset I know his weaknesses." the reporter became bolder. He started to laugh and shouted at Cell. "Hey Cell, get a load of this on!" he then pulled his lower eyelid down and gave him the middle finger. The two began to laugh more as Mister Satan turned around and started to slap his behind. "You can kiss my butt!" he shouted as well, continuing to slap himself.

Cell was starting to get fed up with those two. Goku had better show up soon.

The group was almost arriving. Furipa then flew up right next to Goku. "Goku-san? May I ask you something?" Goku looked at her. "What is it?" he asked. "May I fight Cell first?" she asked. "Huh? Why?" he asked back.

"I have a deal with him so I need to fight him first." Krillin came up from behind her. "What do you mean you promised him?" Furipa looked at him and then at Trunks, and then toke a deep breath. "I wasn't gonna tell you guys about this...but seeing as I have no choice...Me and Cell made a deal, I'd fight him on the tournament so he could see how far I progressed and and it's been a while since I've wanted to show him a piece of my mind."

"Are you sure you want to do this Furipa? I swear if he as much as hurts you, I'll-" Furipa interrupted him. "Look, it was my choice! I'll deal with the consequences!" she said. Piccolo chuckled a bit. "Typical saiyans, always wanting to test themselves." he said. "I say you let her Goku. She wants to prove herself." Furipa smiled as she was glad someone supported her. Goku thought for a bit. "Fine. But if you see you are no match for him, get out. We have senzu beans in case you get hurt very baddly." Furipa nodded. "I still think this is a bad idea." Trunks said. "Trunks, please have some faith in me. Please." she pleaded. Trunks looked at her but sighed in defeat, and nodded. "Okay. Just please, be careful." Furipa nodded as they continued their journey. Up ahead, Tien and Yamcha stood waiting for them.

The group stopped near them. "We'll come with you, but we just wanted you know, we are not gonna fight." Tien said. They looked quite tensed. Goku smiled. "Sure, now let's go." he said, not even one least bit angry. Tien looked at Furipa. "You actually came." he said as Furipa nodded. "Of course, the more the merrier no? Thanks for coming as well, we'll need all the support we can get." and with that, they continued on.

Cell stood silent as Mister Satan continued to shout insults at him. But his patience was starting slowly grow thin as the man continued on with his pathetic wailings. "He he he, you're a little thick, aren't you?!" he shouted, hitting his own forehead. The reporter laughed. "And another verbal jab! The fight hasn't even started yet and in this humble announcers opinion, it seems is already winning!" he shouted.

Cell remained quiet and unmoving. That was until he sensed a power level approaching. Startled by Cell's movement, the reporter looked at the direction Cell was looking, spotting something flying to their location. "What is that?" the reporter asked out loud. "Huh? What are you talking about?" asked as he looked up also.

Cell smirked. 'But of course, this is no surprise.' he thought, amused. 'Ah Vegeta, I thought you would have learned by now. For his sake, I hope he has powered up.' Vegeta landed next to the ring. The reporter looked astonished, looking at him. Vegeta and Cell stared down at eachother. "It appears we have another visitor. But I don't recognize him." The reporter said. "He...Just came flying here unexpectedly." smirked. "One of Cell's tricks." he said. "I'm not sure what he's doing here, so why don't we go up and ask him." The reporter then walked over to Vegeta, pointing the mike at him.

"So, who are you and what are you doing here? And if you just come to watch, back away from the ring before you get hurt." he warned. "Quiet. I've had enough of your insolence. Get out of my face!" Vegeta shouted at him. The reporter backed away and returned to safety next to . "If you ask me, that guy is totally nuts!" he said. "Have any thoughts, champ?" he pointed the mike to again. "Ahhh...he's probably just one of my fanatical fans." deduced, and how wrong he was. Vegeta and Cell continued to stare eachother down, not moving an inch.

The reporter was beginning to get fed up. He looked down at his watch and noticed the time. "Ladies and gentlemen! According to my watch, we are just five minutes away from the start of the Cell Games that will decide the fate of the Earth!" everyone watching shouted. "As I predicted, is the only challenger to step forward to take on Cell, but then again, what more do we really need when we have the world champion of martial arts on our side?! Coming up, it's the fight of the century!" he shouted near the camera.

Cell looked back at the new newcomer. Everyone did the same. "Hm?" Vegeta hummed as he looked at Android 16. 'What's that sack of circuits doing here?' he thought. "W-Where...Where are they all coming from?" asked the reporter as he could not believe another guy came flying in. "It's hum, it's another of those tricks!" said, trying to make it look believable that he knew exactly what was going on.

Cell smirked. "Well, what a surprise, Android 16. You're still alive and kicking!" he said mockingly. "And with beautiful repairs no less." Android 16 said nothing. 'Bulma and her father made that android just as powerful as before. What idiots. Why would they even bother?!' Vegeta thought, annoyed.

"Cell just said something to the red haired guy...Do you think those two know eachother?" the reporter asked . "Who cares? You can tell by his outfit, he's nobody." mocked. Cell looked ahead again, once more sensing various powerlevels coming in. He chuckled. "Ahh there you are Goku. And just in time." he said, obviously pleased that atleast Goku did not arrive late. "I can hardly wait."

The group landed near the ring. Furipa looked ahead spotting Android 16. She was happy to see he was all better now. Everyone watching through the screens chatted amongst themselves on who they might be and if they had a death wish. Chichi, on the other hand, gripped the tv, shaking it. "My baby! My precious baby!" she shouted, hoping that maybe Gohan would hear her and get the heck out of there. Her father tried to calm her down, resulting in the two breaking in the floor with their struggling.

The reporter and could not believe what their eyes had just seen. Cell uncrossed his arms, looking at the new arrivals. It was time to begin the tournament. "Welcome, welcome everyone." he greeted. Vegeta gritted his teeth. 'Why did they have to come?!' he thought angrily. "B-But...How..? How is it physically possible for all of them to fly?!" he wondered. "H-Huh...I guess that trick is very...popular today..." Mr. Satan mumbled back, puzzled on how they've managed to do such an impossible thing.

Android 16 approached the group. Krillin looked at him, surprised to see him there, but he smiled to see that he was in fact, okay. "Hey, Android 16!" he shouted happily. "Hey, you're back!" the android looked down at him. "Yes, and thank you. Because of your help, I am at last fully functional again." he thanked him. "Aw shucks, you're welcome." Krillin said, gladly accepting his thanks. Goku came up to the android, pulling his hand up. "My name's Goku." he greeted him. Android 16 looked at him with a frown. Krillin gulped, hoping that Android 16 did not have the same program in his system. "I know your name. I was created solely to destroy you. Tho, I've chosen not to." Krillin felt somewhat relieved. Goku came up to him and whispered.

"Get a load of Mister Personality..." Krillin sweatdropped. If Goku had any idea...Furipa walked up to the android. "Android 16 you're okay!" she shouted happily. The android smiled at her. "Yes. Thank you for all your help from before." Furipa smiled. "I'm glad I could have helped a bit." she thanked him back.

"Ladies and gentlemen, I'm not sure what to make of all these newcomers, I must say it's very intriguing!" the reporter shouted to his mike. , on the other hand, was feeling annoyed those whack jobs were stealing his spotlight. "Hey! Don't forget about me!" he whined.

On the lookout, Dende was concentrating hard, visualizing the scene at the ring in his mind. "Excuse me, have the games started?" asked. "Not yet, but almost!" he said, still concentrating to not lose the image.

"Alright then." Goku said as he cracked his knuckles. "Let's get this thing going, and if you want, I'll be first." Furipa interrupted him. "Hey Goku, you promised you'd let me go first!" she shouted. "Oh? Oops, sorry, kinda forgot that for a second." he said, apologizing, rubbing the back of his neck. Furipa sighed as she accepted his apology. "Furipa, are you sure you should go first? I think it's best Goku should start..." Trunks said, once again trying to change her mind. "Look, I said I was going first. And no one is going to change my mind!" she shouted as she began to approach the ring. "Be my guest, we all know it will be me who will end up finishing off Cell." Vegeta said, scoffing at her.

To say Cell was not amused by their conversation would be a lie. He was actually looking forward to see if she was capable to hold on her own. Rolling her eyes at Vegeta's comment, she ignored him. As she was about to step in the ring, stopped her. "HEY! Don't you know I'm the champ around here?!" the reporter approached her and the group. "Huh, excuse me sir, but I was just wondering if you or your friends were going to take part in the tournament?" he asked. Goku looked at him. "Of course. My friend here Furipa will go first." he said.

Mr. Satan barged into the conversation and pushed the reporter away. "I've about had enough of you clowns! And your stupid jokes!" he shouted at them. "Now clear out of here before I get angry!" he shouted more. "Hey, don't blow a vein you grease ball." Krillin mocked. "Worse, he could blow that hair off." Furipa mouthed back. Mr. Satan backed away a bit but started to chuckle. "I'm sorry, I forgot. You ignorant hicks have spent your whole lives playing banjo on the woods so you don't realize that I, Hercule Satan, am the martial arts champion of the world!" He gloated. Furipa rolled her eyes. 'How he's still alive puzzles me. Then again, seeing as he want to fight Cell, it won't be for too long.' Furipa thought, looking at the man with annoyance.

The report then came back. "And the challengers have been left totally speechless! By the one and only, Martial arts Champion of the wor-!" he didn't get to finish as he slipped out of the ring. Krillin closed his eyes at the pain the man must be feeling right now. "Okay, seeing you don't know who I am, I'll show you!" shouted, flipping his cape open and jumping out of the ring to in front of them. He then looked at his side and grabbed a rock and began pulling it from the ground. It came out completely, and he then crushed it with his head. Least to say, the gang was more puzzled and embarrassed than astonished. This guy was totally nuts.

"Now who rules?!" shouted triumphantly. "Champion of all Martial Arts in the world!" The reporter continued, chanting the man's name. Furipa sweatdropped. "More like Champion of all chumps in the world..." she muttered. The reporter stopped once noticing they didn't even react. "They...They aren't buying it at all..." he muttered. "I say, we let the neanthertal nerd ball go first..." Krillin suggested. "I'm tempted to agree on that." Furipa agreed. "You...think we should?" Goku asked, hesitant.

Cell was starting to get impatient. "It's time. Who will be the first to challenge?" Cell asked. Everyone looked at Cell and before they had the chance to say anything, walked back to the ring and stood before Cell. "You're looking at him. Let's get it on!" he said smugly. "There's no use in trying to stop him Goku, he just won't listen." Krillin tried to stop Goku. "I've got to try!" he said, calling out to . "Listen , if you fight Cell you're going to get killed!" he shouted.

The reporter and looked at eachother, not believing the nerve of the guy. They shrugged, figuring the guy must be an idiot who didn't learn anything. "Okay Linel, get a close up of the guy with the big hair." the reporter order, as the camera man nodded and pointed the camera at Goku, zooming into him.

"Just moments ago, this long haired guy had the audacity to tell the people's hero, Hercule Satan, to back down from the tournament! Imagine, telling the Martial Arts Champion of the world he was going to be beaten!" the reporter mocked. "Having followed 's amazing career over the years, I have one question to ask this know it all brat: WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE?!" he shouted, the camera giving out a big focus on Goku's face. Furipa could not believe how idiots these guys were. "Oh what I'd give to just go up there and smack the crap out of the guy!" she shouted, Krillin pulling her back. "Hey calm down, we don't need anymore drama in this. There's no use in trying to make this guys listen." Furipa growled but stayed put.

"If that dufus wants to fight Cell first, then let him." Krillin said, looking at Goku. "If he packs it in, we can just revive him with the Dragon balls." Krillin pointed out. "Well, it seems to be no other choice...I'm sorry Furipa, but I guess you'll have to wait your turn." Furipa huffed in annoyance. "Humph, whatever, it's his funeral." Furipa said as she crossed her arms, more than annoyed because she would not go first. Goku then raised his arm up, signaling them that it was okay for to go first.

"They finally decided not to interfere. And for those who are watching this unfold, you've got to ecstatic! It's time for our Champ!" The reporter shouted happily, hardly waiting to see in action. "You're going to love this." Said Champion said, as he began taking off his cape. "So let's set the scene." The reporter started. "The first up will be - who of course will win - and then the Earth will be saved from total destruction."

Suddenly, a voice came from above. "Hold on everybody~! It's time to get happy!" A enthusiastic female voice shouted. Above the ring, a helicopter stood still. "Oh what now?" Furipa asked. Everyone looked up, wondering who was about to arrive. "The fabulous duo is here~! One's got strength, and one's got grace, and everybody's got the love~!"

"Love?! For what?!" Krillin asked, not taking his eyes off the helicopter, as it descended, almost touching the ground. smirked, knowing who would be coming down. Cell resisted the urge to roll his eyes. More pests. The helicopter's door opened, and two men jumped down from it. A large man with a mask and a blond man came down, as a woman with large orange hair came down as well, caught by the larger man. "It looks like we have new challengers to take on Cell!" the reporter shouted. "But who are they and where are they from?" he questioned. The answer would come soon.

Krillin spoke. "Must be national goofball day." he joked. "I think you might be right on that Krillin..." Furipa agreed. "We are the students of Master Satan!" The larger man spoke. "Yes~" the blond said right after, placing a rose on his mouth and twirling around and then posing. "Gaze upon me, I'm Caroni~" he said, moving his hips a little. Furipa sweatdropped a bit, closing her eyes in embarrassment. "Oh dear god..." she muttered. The large man then flexed his muscles. "And I am the stupendous power man, Pirozhki!" blowing smoke from out his mask. Everyone looked at them, speechless. Where did these guys crawl out from?

"Could they possibly be the often talked about Satan's apprentices?" wondered the reporter. The woman approached them. "That's right my friend! These two are the senior disciples of world renown Martial Arts Dojo~! So let's pay our way for our raw man of muscle, Pirozhki!" the woman shouted, pointing at the large man. "And our dashing speedster, Caroni!"

The reporter fixes his glasses, looking at the woman all over. "That's great! And who are you~?" he asked. "I am their spectacular manager, Miss Piiza~!" she said, giving a small kiss. "Maestro, please, let us take care of him. There's no point in you fight this...Sissy." Caroni said, looking back at Hercule. "I will crush him up!" shouted Pirozhki as he hit his own chest.

"Humm..." pondered , with eyes closed. "You're right. It could be a little embarrassing for me to take on such a amateur such as Cell." he mocked as he raised his arm. "He's all yours." and walked out the ring. Cell looked at this departure, somewhat happy that the pathetic man decided to step out. If he had to hear him anymore, he'd lose it. "WOAH NELLY! You hear it right here folks! We have some new challengers! And this dynamic duo, will replace their mentor in Round 1!" the reporter shouted. "What a turn of events! Ladies and gentlemen, this is great news! The help of devoted students, how can we fail?"

Furipa scoffed. "Talk about foreshadowing." Caroni, upon hearing her, looked at her. Finding her absolutely irresistible, he strode off in her direction. "Oh my~ Such beauty you possess~ It radiates and it's positively glowing~!" he began, putting on his charm. Trunks narrowed his eyes at the guy. Furipa frowned at the man. "Would you give me the honor of coming with me to dinner after all of this is over~?" he asked, giving her the rose on his hand. Furipa was about to tell the man to shove off when Trunks came up to them.

"Over my dead body." Trunks said, stepping in front of her. Caroni jumped back, surprised that he stepped up to him. He then chuckled. "No matter~ We'll see who she will be walking home tonight~ Cheer for me~" and strutted off, not before giving her a wink, making her shiver with disgust. Trunks growled, wanting nothing more than to hurt the guy. He Furipa looked at him, and slowly held his hand gently. "T-Thanks, you didn't have to..." she said, looking away, her whole face red. Trunks looked at her, and smiled, blushing as well. Krillin on the other hand, started to snicker. "Just look at you lovebirds~ Want to get a room?" he joked. "S-Shut! I-It isn't like I couldn't have taken care of the guy! Trunks was just being sweet and caring!" Furipa said, letting go of Trunks and crossing her arms, eyes closed in embarrassed. Krillin only snickered more, long side the gang.

Cell watched the scene. He was more than displeased with it. He had to dispose of those fools soon so the real fight could start.

'What a bunch of fools...' thought Vegeta, disgusted by the whole scene.

With no one to stall anymore, the match was finally going to start. Caroni was the first to start. He turned towards Cell, a bouquet of roses on his hand. "As this is the first chance we had to fight or whatnot, I'll be gentle." he said, smelling the roses. He threw them upwards, and then jumped, punching the roses and cutting them into pieces before descending back, landing gently and swaying his hips. Furipa facepalmed. 'What a dumbass...' she thought.

Cell, on the other hand, didn't bother with him. He soon would have what he deserved. "Man, he's good!" shouted the reporter. "And I'll bet you, this won't go more than one round." Miss Piiza then spoke. "For the home viewers, Caroni's special skill is being able to aradicate anything in the air with his fabulous speed and agility~!"

"Thank you Piiza! Well, there you have it folks, now let's see him in action!" Krillin held his head, filling a headache coming from all of this nonsense. Furipa sighed, knowing the outcome of the guy before he even had the chance to get near Cell. "The tension is beginning to mount as Caroni warms up for the first round of the Cell Games!" the reporter shouted. "The rules are simple! You lose if you fall from the ring, give or..." he gulped. "...If you die." he explained.

Caroni smirked. He knew he had this in the bag. "Are you nervous?" he asked Cell, and didn't wait for an answer. "Don't worry, it will only hurt for a moment." he said. He then began to do several poses, before jumping towards the air. "WOW! Would you look at that?!" the reporter yelled in awe. "Just wait to see how it ends~!" Miss Piiza said.

Before Caroni had any chance to descend and hit Cell, the same looked up, and gave out a wave of energy that came out of him in a flash. It hit Caroni, making him rise even more in the air, non-stop. Miss Piiza and the reporter watched him, wondering if this was still part of his move, watching him disappear once he was too far away.

They all stood silent. They wondered if he was coming down. "Huh? What's that noise?" asked the reporter. They yelled when something collided in front of them on the ground. Out of the man shaped hole in the ground, slowly came out Caroni, all bruised and hurt, blood coming out of his nose. On the other side, Furipa bursted laughing. Krillin looked at her. "Furipa! The guy barely made it out alive!" he said, frowning. "I-I'm sorry, it was just too funny to watch him like that!" she said, between laughs. Krillin sighed, but gave a small smile and snicker. "Heh, that was a bit funny, I admit." he agreed.

"Well Piiza, you're right, that was a big ending!" the reporter said. "Yeah, too bad he couldn't land inside the ring." Miss Piiza said. approached them, turning towards Caroni. "In my fighting dojo, I've always considered Caroni to be the son I never had. But he never quite measured up to his father." he said, looking away from him. Miss Piiza turned to him and smiled. "You're the best~!" she said happily. "I agree!" said the reporter as well. Caroni came out of the hole, his pride hurt and probably his body more so.

Cell didn't even bothered to watch them, as his eye was on Goku. He wanted to get this over with. He then looked at Furipa, who tensed when she felt his gaze on her. Cell gave out a small smirk, making her frown. 'Just wait Cell...I'll show you just how strong I am.' she thought, looking at him with a glare.

The bigger man was next in line. Each step he toke would shake the ground. "Now, it is my turn!" he shouted, hitting his chest repeatedly. "Isn't he something? Pirozhki has the strength of twenty elephants and he absolutely loves to crush things~!" Miss Piiza said. "I'd say he came to the right place!" the reporter said as well.

Pirozhki toke off his mask. With his strength, he crumbled his mask into a ball. He tossed it to the air, and when it came down, he ate it. "I've never seen anything like that! Looks like Cell's met his match!" The reporter shouted, enthusiastic. "Get ready for round two!"

"There's no way Pirozhki will mess things up like Caroni did." said, confidant. "I feel sorry for Cell." said Miss Piiza, hoping for sure this time, things would go fine. Well, not for Pirozhki that is. Cell continued to stare down Goku. So much that Pirozhki was getting fed up that Cell was not giving any attention. He yelled and rotating his arms, he charged at Cell. Too bad that he was stopped by an invisible wall of pure energy. No matter how much he tried, he couldn't get near Cell. He was then projected backwards, shouting a 'I give up' before hitting the ground outside the ring. The reporter and Miss Piiza came running to him, watching astonished on his state. All bruised up.

"So...How are we supposed to explain this one ?" the reporter asked him. snapped the cigar on his hand, throwing it away. "Another trick." Miss Piiza and the reporter looked at him in question. "You don't see the forest for the trees. It's obvious to me that he somehow rigged the ring. Case in point. Maybe Cell rubbed himself down with jalapeno peppers, which Pirozhki is allergic to. Or maybe he planted magnets underneath the ring." he explained, getting up from the chair he was sitting down.

"But I'm gonna find out what sort of tricks he's up to!" he yelled, pulling his fist up in confidence. "Yes, I see. So it was Cell's dirty tricks that beat them?" the reporter then turned to Cell's direction. "And I think Mister Satan's got a few tricks of his own up his sleeve." Krillin couldn't believe what they were saying. "How thick can they really be?" he asked out loud. "Cell's energy flicked them away. Not some stupid trick!" he then frowned. "It's like talking to a wall."

The reporter continued. "This is it folks! Mr. Satan has had enough! He's stepping into the ring and is about to finish Cell off himself!" Mr. atan unknotted his cape and threw it away, holding his belt above his head. Furipa then looked at Krillin and whispered. "How much can we bet that belt is a cheap knock of? I mean, no one that stupid can be a world champion..." Krillin shrugged "I really don't know myself."

"Now it looks like the real battle is about to begin!" shouted the reporter, as the camera man zoomed on .

Back at Furipa's home, Lydia watched the scene, from the small television set. "Oh dear...That monster managed to knock out those two boys...Oh, I just hope Furipa is careful..." she hoped, grief consuming the poor old woman's heart, as she imagined all the death situations her granddaughter might get into.

Sparky gave a small whimper as he was laying down next to the woman's feet, as if he was also feeling the same way.

"In the next few minutes, the fate of the entire Earth will be decided between Cell and the undisputed martial arts champion of the world, and I'm not too worried because promised to give Cell a hand through the stomach!" the reporter shouted happily. He then saw reach into his gi. "Huh? What's this?" the reporter asked. " is reaching into his robe and pulling something out."

then opened his hand, reviling what was it that he was holding. "It looks like a...A capsule!" the reporter shouted as clicked on the capsule's button before throwing it on the ground. A small puff of smoke was emitted as a bag then appeared. "Look! A travel bag! What will those clever folks at Capsule Corporation will think of next?" then leaned down and opened the bag, and toke out what seemed to be ceramic tiles.

Krillin and Furipa stared at eachother in question. 'What is he up to now?' they both thought. rearranged them into a stack of fifteen tiles, all carefully placed on top of each other. Krillin facepalmed as Yamcha said what an idiot the man looked. The reporter then turned towards the camera. "You don't supposed he is going to break all those tiles at once, do you?" chuckled and then closed his eyes, preparing himself.

Furipa sweatdropped. 'What a show off...As if breaking tiles is going to make Cell scared of killing the guy on the spot.' she thought. "He's now gone into a trance like state." the reporter said. "I believe he is focusing his energy to something incredible." Furipa gave a dry laugh. "Incredibly stupid is more like it."

It toke awhile for to do anything, but then suddenly, his eyes shout wide open and then he plunged his hand down, breaking the tiles one by one in a swift move. Leaving only one intact. "Oh no! One tile is left! B-But what a mind blowing power!" the reporter shouted. "Fourteen tiles in a row! I'm sure any other man would only be capable of breaking two or three. Incredible!" huffed as he held his hand, which he omitted the fact it hurt like hell. But still, he turned to the camera and posed.

The gang looked at him in silence. 'This guy isn't real, what the heck is he doing here?' Was the question on everybody's minds. Cell stared at him as well. 'His ignorance is painful...' he thought. Seriously, just watching the man gave him a headache. "Cell! You seem these busted pieces of tile on the ground? Well, that's what I'm going to do, to your face." threatened. "There's no question! Hercule Satan is the undisputed martial arts champion of the world!" the reporter shouted happily. looked up, his ego getting bigger and bigger by the minute. 'Yeah...I am that good.' he thought, a small blush covering his cheeks. 'I'm just glad I remembered to set the vcr at home to record this special moment.'

"Oh it looks like Cell is getting worried." the reporter joked. "But then again, who wouldn't after seeing such an amazing display of power? This is getting good." Furipa rolled her eyes. "Oh god, please let Cell win just so we don't have to see this anymore..." she mumbled.

"It's payback time, folks! Cell's made his ring, and now he's got to sleep in it!" the reporter shouted, pumping up for the fight that was about to begin. "Let's go!" shouted as he positioned himself. "Looks like out hero is ready to fight! It's hard to believe iron hands are finally going to have their revenge on Cell for what he's done to the people of Earth!" carefully approached Cell, hands up in the air.

"In mear moments it will all be over soon so don't you dare blink an eye!" Krillin sweatdrops. "Well, I guess it was nice knowing him." he said, shrugging. "It's all up to you , we are counting on you." the reporter encouraged. stood near Cell as he then charged at Cell. Unfolding his arms, Cell watched as kicked him on the face, of course, the blow taking no damage at all on him. "I can't believe it! It looked like the champ went straight for his trident and true patent dynamite kick!" the reporter narrated, then repositioned himself, continuing the assault as he delivered punches and kicks all over Cell.

" is absolutely amazing! The man never rests, he just keeps on attacking, look at his speed, his agility, it's a ballet of punches, he's too fast for Cell to even fight back! This is amazing!" he shouted, excited as he watches kick Cell's butt. then jumped back, and gave a hearty laugh. "And now for my finish!" he shouted and then launched himself again at Cell.

That was until Cell simply bitch slapped him far away, straight into mountain near the ring.

Everyone watched as fell down. The reporter's eyes seemed to almost fly out of his eye sockets. Having no words to even comment on what had just happened. "Heh, to be honest guys, I was cheering for Cell to win that little scrap." Krillin muttered. Furipa nodded. "Me too." Piccolo spoke out. "Look, he survived. I guess Cell didn't want to waste any energy on that weakling." they watched as held his face in pain, his body all bruised up from the impact he had against the mountain.

"He...He landed outside of the ring." The reporter mumbled. "That means...Our hero as lost the battle..." his voice grew grim. "So..." Cell began. "Let's get the tournament under way." he said, looking at the gang. "Who will be first? Will it be Goku? To start things off?" he asked, looking directly at Goku himself. "I would be happy to start first Cell. But it seems you have a score to settle with someone." Goku said, looking back at Furipa. "If you feel the need to stop ay any time, just do so. Okay?" Furipa nodded and looked back at Trunks. She winked and smiled. "Wish me luck."

Trunks smiled and nodded as he watched her walk up the ring and stepping inside. She looked at Cell with a smirk. "Let's make this entertaining as possible, how about that?" she asked him. Cell smirked. "I wouldn't want it any other way." he replied. "Just remember, I will give you my all, wether you are ready or not." he warned. Furipa chuckled. "We'll see about that, now won't we? I might just impress you."

"Stop flirting with the damn android and get on with it!" Vegeta shouted for afar, annoyed. "We already had too many idiots stalling!" Furipa glared at Vegeta (as did Trunks because of flirt comment) and then positioned herself. She smirked again, and turned super saiyan. "Let the games begin."
