Here is another update, and I'm slowing some time down and I've already took some time to already think out the rest of the story. Since the theme of the story from chapter one, is how Olivia is found, should I keep to only how she is found or also include her recovery? Please leave your reviews.

Chapter 21: Progress

Ten and a half months into the disappearance of Olivia

Squad

It was near the eleven month mark and the squad had come together with a few of the consular officers at the Embassy. The search through Rome hadn't given the squad reports of arrests, hospitalizations or murders under the description of Olivia.

Henslee sat down at the head of the long rectangular table. The table sat about twelve people. On one side of the table, Rollins, Amaro, Cragen, Munch, Fin, and Broderick, and on the other sat three consular officers and three officials that were unknown to the squad.

Henslee waited for everyone to settle until he pulled out a file from his brief case. He held it in hands and stood up.

"This is Damien Arsov's criminal record. He was arrested for the kidnap of a fifteen year old who was visiting from Spain."

He passed the file down to the squads side as the other side of consular officers and officials had seemed to know a lot about the man already.

"We have gotten a hold of reports of six girls going missing throughout Europe in the past six years. The reports all involve the girls traveling to their destination and not returning home." Henslee continued

"You think this is connected with Olivia somehow?" Cragen asked while passing the folder to Munch

"Possibly, it may be a different pattern, but I believe that the man you are investigating as a suspect is connected with Damien." Henslee's responded

One of the officials at the end of the table spoke.

"The missing girls include Rika Bergstedt from Sweden, missing four years, Vedrana Pavlovic from Croatia, missing a year, Valentina Egorov from Russia, missing two and a half years, Laure Rossini from Italy, missing three years, Meryl Wimund from Germany, missing six years and Kerianne Hennigan from Ireland, missing two years."

"Each of these girls are from Europe though, how could Alex and Damien have made a connection?" Rollins asked looking up at Henslee

"They had to at some point, maybe while Damien was in New York. However, from your reports we have Damien taking Olivia in the surveillance video from outside her apartment" Henslee responded

"Yes, correct."

A phone started ringing and Henslee dug through his pockets and clicked on the screen, answered the phone and chatting in Italian. It was quiet for a few seconds between the table of detectives and consular officers.

"Grazie" he said hanging up

"We've got tabs on Olivia landing at the Leonardo Da Vinci international airport and reports of checking into the Minerve." Henslee said updating the detectives from his recent conversation on the phone

"These officers will assist you down to the airport and the hotel, also working as your translators."

"Thank you." Cragen responded

The squad and Martindale went in two separate cars with the officials. In one car, an official, Captain, Sergeant, and Martindale. In the other car, an official, Amaro, Rollins, and Fin. A consular went along in each car. The detectives went to the airport and Captain, Sergeant, and Martindale went to the hotel.

At the airport, Rollins, Fin, and Amaro spoke with airport police and were able to get a newer photo of Olivia leaving the airport. After arriving back from the airport, the rest of the squad remained at the hotel.

Munch, Captain, and Martindale followed behind the official and consular. In the plaza of the hotel, they went around a statue and soon entered the grand hotel entrance. Munch took off his sun glasses and gaped in shock.

"Some guy this was to take Olivia here." He commented

"Are you sure we're in the right place?" Captain asked

Martindale scoffed and walked up to the front desk. The official and consular went up behind him. Munch and Captain joined. The girl at the desk was approached by the officer first.

"Li parle inglese?" The officer spoke

"Sì" the woman said

The woman was fairly young, around twenty-seven or so. She wore a wedding ring on her left hand. The woman had curly brown medium hair, with a sharp nose and blue eyes.

"How can I help you?" She said clearly, but with her accent following along

The consular and official moved out of the way and allowed Cragen, Munch, and Martindale to step forward.

"Yes, I'm Agent Martindale with the Federal Bureau of Investigation, and this is Captain Cragen and Sergeant Munch of the New York City police department of the United States. We are investigating the disappearance of Olivia Benson, a police officer who went missing on September fourteenth. We have reason to believe that she was taken here."

"We would like records of your guests during the week of September seventeenth, looking for the name of either Eric Jean or Damien Arsov, possibly Alex Gurevich." Munch added

The woman typed on the keys of the computer and a minute later of staring at the screen, she looked up.

"I have a customer under the name of Alex Gurevich"

"Did he come with anybody else?"

"Yes, he checked into a suite for three people. He came with a woman though." She said looking at a monitor with camera views

"Are there cameras in the hallways up there?" Munch asked

"Yes, they checked in and went to there room, and it looks like from here, their other guest came ten minutes later. Is this the other man your looking for?"

She turned the monitor towards them.

Munch, Cragen , and Martindale looked at a man that matched the photo of the criminal file for Damien Arsov.

"That's Damien, looks like he came in after they checked in." Martindale commented

"Do you have any footage of them leaving?" captain asked

She clicks buttons again and finds footage of Olivia leaving . She turns the monitor towards them again.

"Woah, Olivia looks-"

"Nevermind that, it looks like she's with Alex, and they're leaving." Cragen said interrupting Munch

They see Olivia leaving the suite and down the hallway in a plunging short green dress. She wears tan heels. Nothing they thought Olivia would wear. The footage ends right before Alex and Olivia enter the elevator. They notice Alex get closer to Olivia wrapping his arm around her waist. Olivia's reaction on camera captures her recoiling from his touch and pushing him off. Alex takes her wrist when the elevator doors open.

"That son of a-" Captain says before being interrupted by Martindale

"Thank you" Martindale finished

The squad reunited at the embassy. Updating each other with pictures and notes, Henslee reviews everything and puts down the file in front of him. He addresses the squad and officers.

"We need to start checking the nearest train stations. No reports of them getting onto a different plane."
