I know it's been an extremely long time since I posted.
Its unfair to the people who really loved the story that I stopped, and I think everyone is owned an explanation as to why. There's no one reason in fact it was a couple of incidents that were why I wanted to stop writing.
The OOC of the characters in the story. The Clique, was written back in the early 2000s by Lisi Harrison who is from Canada and white. If your asking why I'm telling you this it's because this fan fiction was original written back in like maybe 2013, my a teenager who is black and also from a Chicago. In that me and the author have lived very different lives and also the times have changed and I wanted to display that in the fan fiction. In that I got a lot of comments and PMs about how the story is too dramatic the themes are drama and romance for a reason. I also got a lot of comments about how the story is too inappropriate because there's sex, there's talk about suicide, homosexuality, sexuality, rape, swearing, etc. the story is labeled M for a reason. I get PMs about people not understanding why Claire is black because she's not black in the book. There were many story's that had African American women as main characters let alone in Fanfic in either Fanfic or Wattpad. I think that's a shame—Especially with young girls reading the clique the only person of color was Alicia and she was very white washed. A lot of the characters in the rewritten version are of color or mixed and I think that's awesome to have diversity. A lot of people were upset about Brielle and Alicia because they felt I was being stereotypical. In being that Brielle is Columbian some people felt that I was racist because when she gets mad she cusses in spanish, but doesn't speak spanish except to two other people (Alicia and Cassidy). I mean Brielle originally wasn't write in a lot of the chapters other than being mentioned or a brief appearance. So you don't see into her life much so that's why you read her speaking Spanish very few times. Maybe I'm not being as obvious as I should when writing so I'm going to explain. Alicia's Spanish heritage is only meantioned when her "exotic" beauty is brought up or whenshe comes back from Spain; while Brielle is fluent in Spanish, She owns a bunch of Columbian flags, she knows the difference between Mexican and Columbian dishes, etc. These girls basically look alike, however, they could be more different and how white Alicia is. So Brielle assumes Alicia knows Spanish so when they're talking Alicia actually doesn't know much of what she's saying. The characters are contrast of each other that's the only point I was trying to show, so if anyone felt offended I'm sorry that's not the point I was trying to make.
Thats why I'm writting this disclaimer because a lot of people instead of asking me to explain they accused me of slut shaming, being a masochist, being a racist, that I support rape, etc. I'm not any of these things nor do I support these behaviors, but this is a M story and these things happen. So I want to continue the story because there aren't many clique fanfics and we need to cherish the ones that are here. Plus I know a lot of people have IM me about if I'm going to finish the story.

1)In the new story because I'm uploading with a different name there are some people on social media that some people don't like that's fine. Please don't fill my comments with why is this person playing this character or why is this image of who the character looks like. And how much you hate them. We all have opinions yet I don't want to look at the comments and I have twenty comments all the same or get a bunch of IMs like that. Then I'll be forced to take the story off FanFic completely and upload only to Wattpad and then disable the comments. Thought if you want to know like why I chose a certain celebrity or influencer I could do a poll and you guys can pick which character you want to know about and I'll write out why.
2)Im also not going to write out a disclaimer for each chapter if there's meantion of sex or mature situations. Whatever, platform the story is on be it either Fanfic or Wattpad it's labled a specific rating for mature readers. I'm going to only place this at the very beginning of the story with the list of the characters for anyone who doesn't know the story so it'll help them out.
3) I'm going to start doing more polls, just because I want to involve you guys more and hear your opinions. So the first poll going up is the title because I am bad at picking titles.

Also I will once the story is uploaded be posting hopefully every two weeks on Sunday or Monday. Most of the chapters are already written so those will be posted, however, if it takes me longer I'm sorry it's just I have very limited time to write and also I have to feel creative. And I don't want to push myself to write when I'm not feeling it, but other times it could just be I forgot. Just remind me. This story will be posted on Wattpad under the same name that's the really unrated version also there will be pictures so if you want to read that version instead okay.
