Chapter 21 Carpenters Daughters "Rogue Agents"
Allie
I just got intel back from my contacts, apparently the two guys who placed the canisters were not ordered to do it. They had been on a mission with Ray and lost 5 friends. They blamed him all this time and decided to get him back. They just couldn't find him until our wedding photo and announcement.
If those guys had read the reports at all they would have known that their 5 so called friends were working for our enemies.
Ray
I had no idea my wife and her deceased husband were black ops too.I new he was in on one of my missions. But we aren't always given the complete story. We are ordered to do certain things and disappear. So at i got a message and so did Allie that we are safe for now.
Ana
everything is going good and 4 of us have our drivers licenses. I am training in defensive driving today and brought Emily and our brothers. Dad kind of knows about this, but Allie doesn't. All of us are training today and we found out just who is the better at this and it turns out Emily is. After one time the instructor asked her to work part time instructing others. Here I thought I was good. The boys were told to stop showboating and concentrate on staying alive.
Ray
Dangit Ana snuck off with Emily and the boys and I just found out where they went to. The defensive driving instructor asked if Emily could work as a part time instructor she was that good at it after 15 minutes of training she passed the whole course. I think I will have Allie handle this situation. After all all the boys went too. We are still adjusting to who should lecture and when and what punishment which will use. Not physical punishments, but grounding or taking away privileges.
Allie
I see Rays face and I know someone did something that needs a discussion. With 6 teens everyday is an adventure in what now? I hear Alex crying for mama. We go get him from his bed and take him to the potty. So I am assuming Emily is with Ana and the boys?
Ray
Yep, they went to defensive driving training. All of them took the course and guess what? They want Emily as a trainer shes that boys however aren't so hot and need more training.
Allie
I am betting they showboated and couldn't control the car. Ray said yes. I am finally feeling the baby moving and showing. 5 months and you would think I would be bigger. Alex is asking for mama and in she walks smiling. She has no idea that we know about her being asked to train. I tell Ray to see how long it takes for her to tell us.
Emily
Ana talked me into going with them to defensive drivers training. It turns out I am excellent and they asked me to train. I told them it was up to Ray and Allie, but I was interested. Ana has also encouraged me to take on line college courses like she's doing. She just got her high school diploma after testing out of all her courses. So Here I am studying for my GED, Ana says as smart as I am I could have tested out of my courses as well. She said that Ray and Allie would allow me to train drivers as long I kept my schooling up.
Ana
I have been helping with the new systems on Christians place next door. Dad comes over quite often to build things for the home. Elliott has been com( g ,o dinner afterward along with Christian and Barney. I think Barney is only 18 and he might have a crush on Emily. He has asked if she dates and she says no. Barney is very good to Alex and he visits them both a lot. Christian told me Barney was a foster child until he was adopted. Christian said he found Barney when he was hiring It staff. Welch caught him hacking when he was 16. Apparently his adopted parents died in a car crash just after Welch hired him to head Christians It department. Welch gave him a place to live and he now has his own place and cars. Welch says this guy is Barney is the marry for life kind of guy. I think he and Emily are a good match.
Emily
I like Barney and he treats me and Alex very nice. Ray approves of Barney and allows him to come over quite often. I really don't date, but would date Barney. He has taught me and the others a lot of cool computer stuff. He will sit and watch movies with me and Alex. We have taken Alex to the playground a lot since we met. We met the day the thallium was placed. I couldn't take my eyes off of him when I finally came to in the hospital. He was holding Alex and soothing him. I know we are a little over a year in age difference. But he has a great job and great benefits. So its a win win if we do get married. I know he's shy, but let me tell you the women at the playground can't take their eyes off him.
Allie
I just got news we are safe for now, no more threats out there. So now I am just concentrating on having this baby.
Ray
I see that Barney is hanging around Emily and Alex, I spoke with Christian and he told me to speak with Welch regarding what Barney is really like. He says Barney was hired at 16 just before his parents died. Welch took him in, but he now owns his own home and cars. Being head of It he makes a good salary and benefits as well.
