"Good Morning, Master Natsu" the two maids bowed from the door as the sleepy dragon slayer slowly woke up, groaned and rolled over back to sleep, surrounded in puffy, and slightly scorched sheets. "Breakfast is waiting downstairs for you sir" the maids concluded and left.

The mention of food got Natsu up, scrambling for his vest and plopping Happy, who was still asleep, on his head as he rushed (but not ran, Lucy told him not to run in this house), down to breakfast, where everyone was slowly making their way too. Lucy came down in a long, white, fluffy bathrobe, still yawning, sitting down at the table, and Natsu decided to sit next to her, sitting happily next to her, eyes going over all the food trying to decide what to devour first.

"Good morning, Natsu" Lucy said quietly, knowing exactly what was going through his head.

"G'morin' Luce" Gray said, half-wobbling into the room, still working on getting half-wake, sitting across from Lucy and Natsu.

"Good morning everyone" Levi said cheerily, seeming to be a morning person. Gajeel groaned sleepily after the bouncy bluenette, sitting next to her as she pulled out a seat next to Gray.

Slowly, everyone else came out, the host club more adapt to being woken up to early. A chef came out and named all the dishes that were being served that morning before telling them to 'enjoy' and Natsu did. Not too long after, the plates had been cleaned, a mini-food fight between Gray and Natsu had broken out, only to be scolded by Lucy and they were all whisked away to be showered.

"Luce~ I smell funny!" Natsu complained, sniffing his arm, pulling a face in minor disgust as they stood together in the main hall, waiting for Lucy's things, now fed and cleaned.

"That smell is called CLEAN, Natsu" she replied as a butler brought her small suitcase downstairs, accompanied with a much larger case as well.

"Whats in that case there?" Lucy asked, pointing to the bigger case, only to be given a cheeky smirk from the butler. "It's a surprise, Miss Lucy. You can't open it until you return home" he said, bowing and walking away.

"Weird" Lucy said quietly, staring curiously at the case, thinking of opening it now.

"LUCY! NATSU! We have to go now, the train will get to the station soon!" Erza called from the doorway, where she was standing with Tamaki, everyone else had already gone, the Hosts and Levi and Gajeel already in the car, Gajeel back to slumping all over Levi.

"Coming!" Lucy called back, trying to pull the large case with her, only it was too heavy. Without a single exchange of words, Natsu lifted the large case easily, and carried it out to the car, leaving Lucy to the smaller one, running slowly after Natsu and her friends, a brilliant smile on her face.

"Hey, Lucy?" Tamaki pulled her to the side, a sad smile on his face. "You will come back sometimes, won't you?" he asked. "Of course, dummy, we're family, this is what family does" she gave him her heart melting grin and hopped in the car, only to be greeted with a sick Natsu in her lap.

~One horrific train ride later~

"We're home!" Lucy cheered, Natsu carrying the large case up to her apartment, setting it down on the floor.

"C'mon, we gotta go tell everyone we're back" he said to her, already heading for the door. With a nod, Lucy followed as they went down to the street and walked side by side, like Lucy had never left. Natsu stopping to smell, and attempt to eat, roasting meats from the market places, Lucy stopping to look at books. Eventually, after what seemed to be a lifetime of wandering around, they arrived at the guild. Lucy took a deep breath, and at the same time, Lucy and Natsu kicked the doors open and yelled as loud as they could,

"WE'RE HOME!"
