Howdy y'all! It's VALENTINES DAY! I love Valentines Day simply because all the candy is marked down the next day XD but also I love writing about love and reading about it also! So to honor this lovely day I am making this chapter and a bonus chapter! So I hope you guys love this!

"Wake up!" you begrudgingly open your eyes to see a toothy grin above you and huge blue orbs. You sigh and look up at her with a mixture of grogginess and annoyance. Feferi had kept you up until 4am doing random girly stuff, at first you were ok with it, but when she insisted on continuing that's were you had a problem! You loved her and all but without the proper rest you were a monster to be around! So on that note, you promptly rolled over giving her the bird as you shut your eyes. You knew it was a little mean but you were tired, and goddamnit you were going to get your sleep! "C'mon lazy fins! We have work today! You gotta get up!" And now she's on top of you trying to shake you awake. UGH! Reluctantly you emerge from the nest of blankets and sheets and stand up to actually put on some clothes. You throw on some random shirt and a random pair of jeans that was miraculously laid out for you. You know this is the work of Feferi, but you are to tired to dwell on it as you head to the bathroom. You apply some makeup, and don't even give a second thought about Feferi's giggling fit as you emerged from the two of you make your way down the stairs and eat before heading down to Starbucks for another wonderful day at work! Not before getting a whistle from Meenah as you left. You wonder what that was all about but you don't have to dwell on it before you are pulled by Feferi into the cool air.

The two of you make small talk as you head to work, talking about the fun the two of you had yesterday. Your honestly are glad the two of you had this time alone together. This whole week has been fairly...weird. First the thing with Karkat, and the fight with him and Vriska and almost kissing him! It was all so...weird! The thought of your long term crush liking YOU! Weird! All of your life you had felt...inedaquite. You were always teased and picked on for being the weird catgirl that made weird cat noises. People did...horrible things to you, and said worst. And with all of that going on and the thing with...him you thought nobody could ever love you. Hell you were surprised your family even loved you! You could hardly look in the mirror without wanting to kill the face looking back at you! You never thought you would actually could have REAL friends and REAL people who REALLY liked you. And having Karkat possibly return feelings for you was weird, and magical, and scary, yet...AMAZING! You smile fondly regarding the thought...You and him. Together. Being able to crack that imprinted expression on his face, watching that small glint in his eyes while he watched movies, or simply feeling his lips on yours! The thought of him smilimg at you with that rare smile sends shivers down your spine. "Whatcha thinkin' about?" a voice suddenly erupts from nowhere, making a fire outbrake on your cheeks. "No-nothing!" you manage to stammer out making her erupt into a fit of giggles. She then proceeds to tease you all the way to work.

((TIME JUMP))

"That'll be $6.50!" You chirp handing the blonde haired blue eyed girl her iced coffee. She didn't even respond, just rolled her eyes, shoved you the money, and sat down by a window seat and began texting. She was a regular, she'd come in here and order her drink, and head off not even giving you so much as a side ways glance. You were a pretty calm chick, but those kind of people pissed you off! But it was whatever, not that big of a deal! You smile as you see your next customer come up to the counter. "Hi! Welcome t-"

"Yeah whatever, look can I just get some coffe. Black coffe" He says rubbing his eyes tiredly.

"Umm yeah sure, hey are mew feeling pawlright? You seem a little out of it."

"Hmm? Yeah I'm fine just been a long night and I'm ready to go the hell home!"

"Well if you are pawsitively sure..." You say, trying to smile. You get his order ready and give him a bagel on the house, since he probably wasn't having the best of days! You give him a gentle smile as you hand him his bag. He only looks at you quizzically and heads out the door. The rest of the day drags on as usual, same old customers, same old orders, nothing new. Well that is until you feel a small tap on your shoulder. You are met with icy blue eyes staring at your forest green ones. "Hey Nepeta we need to talk." Vriska says dragging you in the back. You were still sort of bitter about what had happened with her and Karkat but you were open to what she had to say. "Look Nepeta me and you are friends right?" you nod. "And friends tell each other when they are about to do something stupid right?" She says leaning against the wall. You only stare at her as she continues "And since we are friends let me just tell you that you have made a bad choice. You see that Karkat guy is really a cold-hearted womanizer, and to be honest I don't think you of all people deserve a guy like him. You know he dayed a friend of mine, shattered her heart, poor thing. You wouldn't want history to repeat itself, now would we?" She finishes with a tiny glint in her eyes. You swallow down the lump forming in your throat. You knew what she was talking about, but you just nod and pretend it's only smirks and leans in close to whisper "There is still time to fix this" and she turns back to do whatever she was doing before. You shiver and head back to the counter where Feferi gives you a wink before answering back to a customer.

"Hi! Welcome to Starbucks, what can I get for you today?"

"You wwould be nice." you snap your head up to see a boy looking at you. You immediatly feel yourself flush.

"Hehe ummm ca-can you some-something?"

"Yeah, 'm looking for Vvriska actually, mind calling her for me?"

"Yeah hold up." You stammer, feeling yourself blush. He seemed familliar...how you don't know. He and Vriska soon depart out the door. With her pulling his arm and him pouting. You dismiss it and go back to fufilling orders and making sugary overpriced drinks.

((KARKAT AND HIS POINT OF VIEW))

You walk along the sidewalk, allowing the cool air whip recklessley in your face. You release the breath you've been holding, watching it curl into flambouyabt shapes. Last night you hardly slept a wink. Memories of your childhood and struggling invaded your dreams, causing nightmares that could scare anybody shitless! You deserve some goddamn coffee right now, because you know if you don't have your cup you'll be useless! So you do what you normally do, head to Starbucks.

From the moment you enter you can feel Nepeta's happiness and joy radiating in the room. You knew that sounded like a line out of a cheesy romcom, but you honestly could. Nepetas smile could out shine the stars, her eyes outdo the the moon, her laugh better than any symphony! Yeah yeah, cli-fucking-che, but at least it was true! Starbucks buzzed with its usual buissiness and chatter, but it all was background noise as you stared at her. Damn! You were in deep!

YOOOO! Since I worked on this all day, and didn't have time to make a bonus chapter, I am making this weekend THE WEEKEND OF THE V! I will be updating thisbstory and my other ones! XD hope y'all had a great day! BYEEEEEEEEEEEEE
