Great Clans

The sphere began to crack, pure white light spilling out through the them. Then, the sphere exploded, the pieces fading and left behind long, messy white hair, horns, a white robe, black spheres, and a black Khakkhara. Naruto took a shaky step backward as the new enemy took a step forward, looking around before pulling his hair out in front of himself and snorting in amusement.

"So, I've been forced to become one with my brother have I?" the man growled, reaching up to cover his right eye making an interested expression. "Tenseigan truly is quite something isn't it, Naruto?"

Naruto staggered backward a step, eyes widening in fear and recognition. The others took the hint and backed away as the man chuckled.

"I see you recognize me after all," the man smiled. "I'm flattered. Tell you what, I'll let you have the first attack."

"H...Hagoromo...Otsutsuki," Naruto breathed. "Why are you...fighting me? I'm trying to stop the Forbidden!"

"I am aware of that," Hagoromo nodded. "However, my master the Forbidden, has...opened my eyes, shall we say. He is the one who created this world. He was wrongfully imprisoned by Suzu Otsutsuki. He merely wants to reclaim the world that is rightfully his."

"By destroying everything," Naruto scoffed. "I thought you cared about humanity! I thought you wanted to protect everything."

"You're wasting your breath," Hagoromo stated. "I will not allow you to delay my master's return any longer. You will die here, Naruto Uzumaki. I don't care which of the five great clans you are from."

Before Naruto could argue that the great clans were always too full of themselves, having learned about the five great clans Uchiha, Senju, Hyuga, Uzumaki, and Otsutsuki, from his father years ago, Hagoromo was in front of him, slashing downward. Naruto had no time at all to block the staff so instead, he leapt backward, slamming into Hinata and taking both out of the way of the staff. He landed on his feet, catching Hinata and set her on her feet then formed a pair of jian from two of his spheres. Hagoromo chuckled in amusement and both charged, faster than anyone except the Uchiha could track. The first impact of Naruto's sword and Hagoromo's staff formed a massive crater, the concussion blasting everyone away, including the creatures around them. The second sent a massive explosion into the air. A moment later, Naruto was floating in the air a hundred feet up with a bad burn on his left arm that was healing itself as Naruto's left hand lit up with green chakra. Across from him, Hagoromo was floating with no wounds at all and his staff held loosely at his side and his black spheres forming a circle in front of him.

"You think you can fight me?" Hagoromo laughed. "Fine. Let's try this shall we?"

All of his spheres fired at Naruto and Naruto's own moved to block it, only to have Hagoromo's smash straight through them and continue at Naruto. Naruto flipped over them and they returned to Hagoromo as Naruto's spheres reconstructed themselves.

"Not bad Naruto," Hagoromo chuckled. "Your reflexes are impressive. However, I am not alone."

Naruto blinked before seeing movement behind himself. He spun, eyes widening to see another person, this one in the same chakra mode Hamura had used, floating behind him, Tenseigan glowing slightly. He had his left arm wrapped around the front of Hinata's shoulders, gripping her right shoulder, and his right gripping the left side of Hinata's jaw, ready to break her neck.

"Who the fuck are you?" Naruto snarled, malice dripping from his voice.

"Toneri Otsutsuki," the person stated. "Last surviving member of my clan, with the exception of the one behind you. "So, the Byakugan Princess and the Fox King? That's so ridiculous it's almost cute. It would seem Hinata is so desperate for attention that she is slumming with you. I'll have to rescue her from your brainwashing."

"Brainwashing?" Naruto snorted. "As if. If anything, she had to win me over. And if you think she'll ever marry you, you've got another thing coming. You think you're just going to what, kill me then marry Hinata? And you think she'll go with that? Oh boy you've really got things backward."

"What do you mean?" Toneri demanded.

"You think that because I'm strong, I'd be the worse of the two to piss off, right?" Naruto snorted. "Well, you'd be wrong. You see, before the Forbidden was released and then sealed inside the Shinigami, there was a...acquaintance of ours. A traitor. before defecting, he spent months attempting to convince Hinata that I didn't care about her. That I only wanted sex and that I'd leave her once I got it. Then, when he defected, he nearly killed Hinata. To pay him back for getting on her bad side, she obliterated him. There was barely enough left to identify. Then, after my death, she spent one year of pain, and grief mourning me and growing much, much colder. I can never take back the pain I caused her, and because of it, she coldly and emotionlessly killed a man who tried to separate us, and nearly succeeded. She didn't even bat an eyelash. On the other hand, I show my enemies mercy, from time to time, and I exercise honor when fighting. She doesn't. So I ask you, do you really think, that killing me is such a good idea for you? Even if it takes her a hundred years, she will see you dead."

"Not if I break her neck," Toneri threatened. "We both know you wouldn't have the will to continue if I do."

Naruto sighed, bowing his head and closing his eyes.

"Alright Hinata," Naruto sighed. "I guess it's time."

Hinata nodded, closing her eyes and gritting her teeth as Naruto made the Ram Seal. Then, he grunted and Hinata groaned. Toneri raised an eyebrow as Naruto's chakra shroud slowly shrunk back to his Nine-tails Chakra Mode.

"You intend to fight us both alone without using the power of your Tenseigan?" Toneri snorted.

"No," Naruto grinned. "I'm not fighting you alone."

Toneri blinked, confused. At least until green chakra flames erupted to life on Hinata and glowing green spheres appeared in a circle behind her before launching backward, blasting Toneri away from her but not actually harming him, thanks to his own Tenseigan's chakra. Hinata fell, Naruto catching her and setting her on her feet as Sasuke appeared beside him, quickly using his sharingan to copy Naruto's knowledge of the Tenseigan's power and pass it to Hinata. Naruto closed his eyes immediately after Sasuke was done with him, before anyone except Sasuke could see his eyes. He turned toward Hagoromo who raised an eyebrow.

"How the hell does she have Tenseigan all of a sudden!?" Toneri demanded.

Naruto glanced back at him and grinned.

"You gave them to her?" Toneri growled. "How? When?"

"Partial Body Mass Teleportation," Hagoromo spoke. "Impressive. Even your father never managed that feat."

"Partial Body Mass Teleportation?" Toneri blinked. "Is that what that was? He gave her his eyes? What, so he's blind?"

Toneri laughed, but stopped as Naruto chuckled as veins began to stick out around his eyes. Toneri's eyes widened as Naruto opened his eyes, revealing Byakugan.

"Sorry Toneri," Naruto snorted. "Not quite."

He formed a spectral sword and fired it at Toneri who smashed it with his bare hand, growling in annoyance.

"You switched eyes?" Toneri growled. "How?"

"You can't see it from there, but there's a tiny teleportation seal imprinted into the inside corner of both of these Byakugan, and both of my Tenseigan," Naruto stated pointing to his eyes. "When I teleported my Tenseigan to Hinata, I had to move her eyes first, so I simply switched eyes with her. Now, allow me to shed some light on my knowledge of the Great Clans and on the nature of the three great Dojutsu and Tenseigan. The Great Clans, came from two people. Hagoromo Otsutsuki and his brother Hamura. Hagoromo is the ancestor of the Senju and Uchiha clans. Later on, the Senju branched and the Uzumaki clan was formed. Hamura was the ancestor of the Hyuga Clan. Both together were part of the Otsutsuki clan. Hamura was a branch member as his brother became the head and the clan fell into civil war with you, Toneri, being the last surviving member, I'd wager."

"Impressive," Toneri smirked.

"Just wait," Naruto grinned. "I'm just getting started. Of all the clans, the Uzumaki were the only ones to inherit the Otsutsuki clan's strong chakra allowing for the members to each live hundreds of years. The Senju inherited the raw power of the Otsutsuki but not the longevity. The Uchiha inherited the Sharingan from Hagoromo and the Hyuga inherited the Byakugan from Hamura. Those two are the base of the Great Dojutsu and the Tenseigan. The Rinnegan, can be formed only by combining the bloodlines of the Senju and the Uchiha. I'm not sure if Uzumaki could be a replacement for the Senju. As for the Tenseigan, it is a bit more tricky. it can be formed only by combining the Hyuga and Otsutsuki bloodlines. As one clan is nearly extinct, so is the Dojutsu. So, who's eyes do you have?"

"Me?" Toneri sneered. "I have the most powerful Byakugan in existence. I have the eyes of Hiashi Hyuga."

"I see," Naruto nodded. "The strength of a ascended Dojutsu, the Tenseigan or the Rinnegan, does depend on the strength of the Dojutsu it matures from. However, that is not the most powerful pair of Byakugan. Two have that claim. The Tenseigan that I got from Hamura were the strongest Byakugan. And aside from them, the strongest belong to Hinata. That is why you call her the Byakugan Princess isn't it?"

"It is," Toneri nodded. "You're stalling. Your puppets and clones are deadly. But all have been destroyed."

"I know," Naruto nodded. "But look around at your army."

Toneri did so and saw that the massive army of creatures had been almost completely destroyed. of the sea that had existed before, barely a fraction was left. A thousand at most.

You have what, a thousand left?" Naruto guessed. "I have a couple hundred? Each of my soldiers can kill multiple of your creatures before they die. With the Jinchuriki, you have no chance of surviving. I probably won't even lose a man."

The Jinchuriki, Itachi, and Shisui all left, returning to the others and Naruto nodded for Sasuke to do the same. He hesitated then complied. Naruto turned back to Toneri as Hinata stepped up beside Naruto.

"The last thing about the great Dojutsu that I should tell you is, the Uzumaki are not merely Senju anymore. Our chakra is as strong as it is because one of the Otsutsuki that was banished during the war had a child with an Uzumaki. that line of Uzumaki soon spread to most of the clan. Understand? I have Otsutsuki blood."

"You're..." Toneri trailed off and Naruto grinned.

"That's right," Naruto grinned drawing his Sword of Kusanagi and inspecting his reflection in the blade. "Shouldn't be long now."

Toneri began to fly forward but stopped as Hinata's spheres flashed in front of him in an arc, returning to her and forming a glowing gold ring in front of her right hand. Toneri formed a similar ring and they aimed at each other.

"Tell you what Toneri, I'm not going to fight you," Naruto smiled. "I'd love to. I would. But I have a bigger threat to deal with. And anyway, she wants to kill you personally for threatening me."

toneri snorted as he and Hinata fired a golden chakra beam. The two hit, remaining solid for a moment before Hinata's began to push Toneri's back.

"Your chakra is stronger, but her Tenseigan removes the usefulness of that," Naruto stated. "So now, you die."

Naruto turned away from them, raising the sword in time to block Hagoromo's sword.

"You saw me coming," Hagoromo smirked. "I do hate Byakugan. But it's better than your Tenseigan."

"I agree," Naruto grinned shoving Hagoromo back. "I can track you anywhere. But can you keep up with Konoha's second generation Yellow Flash?"

He knelt, placing his hand down and spreading teleportation seals for hundreds of feet around. Hagoromo sighed as Naruto began to teleport around. He remembered their last fight well. But this time he had a solution. As he teleported, he began to create clones at random. The clones began to attack but each that got close found themselves destroyed by Hagoromo's staff. Just as Naruto appeared and slashed at Hagoromo, Hagoromo vanished, appearing behind Naruto, slashing at him. He blocked it then teleported away, turning around to look back at him.

"How'd you do that?" Naruto growled. "That wasn't the Flying Raijin Jutsu. But you didn't actually move either."

"It's a gift of my third eye, my Rinne Sharingan," Hagoromo stated. "It allows me to switch places with a set space at will. In this case, the space behind you. It is the perfect instantaneous teleportation jutsu. It requires no seals and no time to charge. With a base Rinne Sharingan, it can only be used up to three times before it must recharge. With mine, I have no limit. So the question is, can you keep up with me?"

"I'm sure I'll be fine," Naruto grinned.
