I couldn't believe what I was seeing. Standing right before me covered in snow was my one and only true love. I didn't know how he got here or why he risked it but I didn't care. I jumped into his awaiting arms and kissed him passionately over stepping ever boundary that I had ever set. This was true love and I'll be damned if anyone tried to stop it.

"Derik," I breathed pulling him further into my body. He was frigid but I didn't care, I embraced the cold, it was something I truly missed. "How did you get here?" But he didn't answer he just pulled me into another deep kiss, and both of our breaths now became rigid and uneven.

"I promised you Amy," he said maintaining his strong hold. "I would and I never will break a promise to you. I missed you so much."

"I missed you too," I said. "But what about Bella and Edward? There is no way that they're going to let you take me. In fact you have to get out of here now before Edward catches you."

"Amy," he said tilting my chin up so I could meet his warm topaz eyes. "Relax its okay."

"Derik," I said frantically. "If he catches you he'll kill you. I can't risk losing you like that at least. Please go."



"Amy," he said pulling me back after I tried to surrender his grip. "Edward and Bella aren't here. Edward decided that you needed some alone time and Bella coaxed him into going along with her hunting. I'm safe. Were safe."

"How much time do we have," I asked relaxing for a few minutes.

"As much time as you'll have me Ames," he answered.

"What do you mean," I asked incredulously. "They do have to come back eventually."

"Amy, I have something to ask you," he said picking up my hand and starring deeply into my eyes. "Run away with me Amy. Let me take care of you and Izzy. Let me protect you and change you when you're ready, if you even want to. I love you and I'm asking you to trust me."

"But what about Edward and Bella and the Cullen's," I asked.

"Amy I know I'm asking a lot," Derik said. "But once you're changed and out of danger we will go back I promise." I knew that I had to make the decision and I knew I had to make if fast. On one hand I knew that even though it was a risk it was also what I wanted. On the other hand I knew how much risk was involved, and how much I could lose. It was a choice between giving everything I had for love or being sensible.

"Let's go," I said quickly before I could change my mind. "I love you and I want to do this."

"I love you Amy," Derik said kissing me again. "Now let's get you packed.

"Already done," a familiar voice squeaked. When I turned around I was shocked. There standing in the middle of my room were Alice and Jasper. "Ally!"

"Ames," Alice squealed equally excited. "I missed you so much! How's my niece?"



"Incredible," I said pulling her into a hug. Hugging her was almost impossible now seeing as I was nine months pregnant. "Massive too."

"Well she has to be strong if she's going to be the next Mia Ham," someone boomed.

"Emmy," I shouted throwing myself into him and practically falling over in the process.

"Wow, Ames," he said steadying me. "I know you and Bella have a lot in common but take it easy okay kiddo."

"Hey Rose," I said. She nodded politely taking on her normal stance. Rosalie may have appeared to be nothing but vain but I knew how much of a loving person she truly was. I knew she had reasons for not showing that and I respected them.

"What are you guys doing her," I asked suddenly curious to why almost the entire Cullen family was standing in my bedroom.

"Were breaking you out," Alice said picking up two suitcases filled to the brim. "I was actually the one who told Derik when he could come. Were staying with you until were sure that you will be safe. The vampire invasion has just begun and were risking nothing."

"So how did the world take it," I asked. I knew when I found out that vampires were real I freaked out completely. I couldn't believe that this secret I had known for years was out to the world.

"Well, different people took it different ways," Jasper said. "Some couldn't have been happier while others are fearful, which truthfully they should be. Even though Aro put everyone on a certain diet I have trouble believing that everyone will follow it."

"I think its hilarious how many people are trying to find Edward and Bella," Alice added. "Ever since Stephanie Meyer admitted that they were real all these different types of 

Twilight groupies have been trying to find them. In fact, I talked to Esme and Carlisle a couple of days ago and apparently they are stalking the house just waiting for them to come out. Carlisle and Esme had to get out of the country because of it."

"Man, those people are really crazy," I said thinking about how I used to be a Twilight groupie. I hoped that none of the Cullen's would ever really know the truth. That's why I was especially grateful that Edward couldn't read my mind.

"Uh-oh," Alice said suddenly looking terrified. "Ames we have to get you going. Bella and Edward will be here any minute." Derik picked me up and began to run out the window before I had a chance to react.

When we landed on the ground Derik began to run fast than I had ever thought anyone, even a vampire could. I knew that Edward must be close because I could feel the panic coming off of everyone. Jasper looked completely miserable and stressed, so I knew it had to be bad.

"Amy," someone yelled after me. "Amy no! Don't do this. Please don't do this Amy," he called after me. The rest of the Cullen's held Edward back while Derik continued to run with me.

For once in my life I felt true freedom and independence. I was starting a new life with the man I loved and my baby on the way. I was a free woman, and though I knew I should be thrilled I was scared. Especially since the rest of the Cullen's were forced to stay back with Edward. Now it was just Derik and I. We were alone.

Okay love it or hate it? Let's see if we can get twelve reviews. I will update very soon depending on the reviews. Plus I know it's short but I will try to make it longer next time. I promise.
