I haven't updated this story in about 3 months and I am extremely sorry for the really long delay when I said that I would be doing weekly updates. My summer break of 6 weeks has just started so I now have plenty of time to update TMAB and all my other ongoing fanfictions. I'll try to update frequently and maybe the hot weather of Sydney will keep me locked home, therefore, more typing time. Yay! It's currently 42 degrees and I'm drinking water from a cocktail glass. Ok bye.

"Why did you do it?" Amu inquired awkwardly. It was a really strange situation for her. They were talking about Ikuto sleeping with Rima, also known as Amu's dorm-mate.
"I knew you'd ask," he sighed, perching his chin on the palm of his open hand. Amu eyed the catboy as he stared out onto the busy field. "We kinda went to a party during the senior year of middle school and I don't know how someone spiked the drinks but we were both pretty drunk. We were young and stupid, okay? I'd do anything to fix the situation. I'm sure Rima would want to do it as well. But yeah, we just DID it."
"Oh, okay," she nodded understandingly before laying her hand on his knee. "It's in the past, right? It's time to move on and aim for the future!" Amu cheered as she sent him a genuine grin.
"Thanks, Amu. Still surprised that you can be nice, but meh," Ikuto shrugged before returning a kiss on her cheek. "Why are you blushing?"
"I'm not blushing!" she cried, hands immediately reaching up to her tomato-red cheeks, covering them so he couldn't see.
"Yeah right," Ikuto laughed.

Nagihiko dawdled around the school, checking out every window that he passed by. All morning, he had been trying to find Rima and so far, he had been failing miserably. The shortie was nowhere and everyone he asked said that they didn't know where she was.
They hadn't really talked in a while and it was starting to bug him; a lot. Nagi had to admit, he missed her.
"Hey Nagi!" Kukai called as he jogged over to his friend from the soccer field. "You finding Rima? I've been hearing you ask people, but you haven't asked me yet! I'm so hurt, Nagi!" he cried dramatically, placing a hand over his heart and trying to produce fake tears.
"Yeah, I'm trying to find her. Haven't seen her since forever!" he exclaimed, shading his face from the sun. "And Kukai, stop that. You look constipated trying to act dramatic."
The brunette fumed before pointing into the direction of the music block. "She's in there. Heard it from Utau before."
"Thanks, dude," Nagi waved as he ran off in the given direction.
The music room wasn't ever crowded but that didn't mean it was always empty. The occasional group of students sometimes fiddled with instruments in there but rarely were the rooms used as a form of leisure or anything, except for classes and lessons. Only one room had the sounds of bad piano-playing coming from it, and he immediately knew it was her.
Standing at the doorway, he poked his head inside to eye the brunette as she tapped random keys on the organ. Applause resonated from him as she spun around.
"Great job, Rima-chan!" he cheered and clapped his hands as he took a seat next to her on the piano seat, which was able to fit two people.
"What's up, Nagi?" she asked as she diverted her eyes away from his.
An awkward silence filled the room and Nagihiko just pondered over what to say as Rima glared at the joyous birds outside through the glass windows.
"Why are you ignoring me?" he finally had the courage to ask.
"I'm not, not at all," she spat out before running out of the room, so quickly that Nagi didn't even have enough time to stop her. Nagihiko let out a long sigh before getting up and going after the brunette.
I have to stop this tension. I just know I have to.
I'm sorry that it was so short ;( I promise to make the next chapter longer! C; Read and review? Would mean a lot!
