Kagami: I don't own vocaloid.

Len took a few swings at Meito with his sword, but Meito quickly dodged them, becking up towards the forest.

"Hey, hey, hey! Let me explain!" Meito said, dodging a quick swipe aimed for his neck.

"No explanation. The sooner you're dead the sooner you're out of our hair!" Len claimed, managing to get a cut on Meito's side.

"Listen, ok!? I'll break the connection; you don't have to kill me!" Meito yelled, wincing from the shallow wound on his side.

"But this will make sure it doesn't happen again!" Len shouted, just barely missing another cut to the red-head's side.

"STOP!" a shriek from behind the four of them yelled.

Len, as to make sure Meito didn't walk away, grabbed Meito's arm, and turned towards the voice; Rin, and Luka did the same. Rei stood there panting with a fierce glare on his face to look brave.

"I did it! I told him what Rin was! I knew long before, I couldn't just keep it a secret to myself!" Rei shouted, relaxing slightly as the weight of guilt lifted "I only recently got the proof I needed"

"You little… HOW MANY MORE PEOPLE KNOW!?" Len yelled.

"I only told Meito…" Rei said, keeping a brave face.

Len turned back to Meito before throwing him against the side of a tree "and you? How many people did you tell?"

Meito chuckled through a sharp pain "to many to turn back now…"

Len glared down, holding up his sword that Meito seemed to not acknowledge through his laughter. Len though, didn't find anything funny, and didn't hesitate to bring down his sword. With a crack, and a gushing of blood, Meito's skull was pierced by Len's sword. Rin looked away, but Luka just sighed at the fact she could no longer take any of that red hair for her dolls.

Len backed away as blood flowed towards his shoes. He quickly shot a glare at Rei, and pointed a blood-dripping sword at the boy.

"You'll clean this up," Len said quite calmly as his sword disappeared.

Len grabbed onto Rin, whose wings had long disappeared, and escorted her inside. Luka stayed to examine any of the body she could possibly take back with her while Rei stood in horror.

"Did you have to do it?" Rin asked, refusing to look Len in the eyes.

"To kill him? …perhaps not, but it seemed best at the time," Len said, letting go of Rin to shut the front door.

"What are we going to do? Others know about me so won't it get to the other demons through a portal soon?" Rin worried.

"They probably already know," Len sighed "we may need to go somewhere else"

"Where will we go?" Rin asked.

"Well, I guess we could hide among the humans. Just buy a house right in the middle of town," Len explained "it is, though, quite risky"

"Why?" Rin questioned.

"Just if someone recognizes us it'd be trouble," Len explains "just don't worry about it. Ok? I was planning to take you to the hot springs for a while, but nobody knows about that so I can look ofr a house while we're staying there if I need to"

"A hot spring? There's one nearby?" Rin questioned.

"Yeah, just a few miles away," Len explained "Luka suggested it while you were sleeping, and I thought it was a good idea"

"Well I guess we could use a break… even though it does seem a bit risky now…" Rin said "being all this is happening"

"It'll be fine," Len sighed "we shouldn't get any trouble there…"

"Well ok then, when are we going?" Rin questioned, a bit happy the mood had lightened so much.

"Now ok with you?" Len asked, slightly joking knowing the girl had no plans at all.

"Perfect," Rin said with a slightly sarcastic tone.

"Great because I'm getting sick of this place," Len said, dragging Rin back out of the house, and started walking towards a bus stop.

"Oh when you said 'now' you really meant now," Rin said, wondering if they should have brought anything with them.

Len, and Rin got there just in time to catch a bus going into the next town. They got on quickly, and sat down near the back.

"Hello lady, how you doin'?" A friendly man sitting next to Rin asked.

"Um, I'm fine," Rin said.

"Haha, nice day, huh? It was pouring with rain yesterday, but today it's all sunshine!" the man smiled "so where you headin?"

"I guess it's a nice day…I'm uh… heading to the next town over," Rin said.

"Ah, I'm heading there too! You gotta place to stay? I got a little apartment in-," The guy was cut off as Len put a protective arm around Rin, and shot the guy a glare.

"thank you but she's staying with me," Len said, keeping a menacing glare on the man.

"Oh, no problem. It's cool, it's cool," the guy said, leaning back into his seat, and looking away from the two.

"why'd you do that?" Rin questioned in a soft whisper "he was just being nice…"

"More like he was just being a creep," Len sighed "don't talk to people like him…"

"Well alright…" Rin said, not finding a good reason to really argue about the situation.

After a good hour, the bus stopped in the town they needed to go to. From there they took a hike up a mountain to where the hot spring resided. They quickly checked in to stay for five nights, and went to their room.

"Wow this place is fancy," Rin smiled as she walked around the room.

"It's better than the house, I'll say that. So where are the- oh you are kidding me," Len sighed.

"what's wrong?" Rin asked, looking over to see what he was so upset about.

"There's only one bed"

Kagami: dun..dun…dun? um… yeah. I can't really think of a better place to end this because I know I can pick it right back up for the next chapter. Well, I hope you liked it anyway
