YOURSECRET KEEPER 3

Sally dreamed for this moment to happen and replayed what she would say over and over to herself, she knew exactly what words she wanted to use; she had even recited it to his grave one lonely evening. Now, every word grew faint in her throat with every breath he took, every wave of warmth that caressed her skin and the glow shining radiantly behind his eyes. He perfectly sat with her as she tried to collect her thoughts; she had the opportunity to continue on with him and if she was honest with herself, she didn't know if that is not something she wanted. She was at peace, she wasn't in any pain and if she died they didn't have much to worry about anymore, since the only project for the group was figuring out a way to save her.

Watch took her hand, but only her pulse echoed between them; she looked up and saw a hint of sadness as he took a deep breath; she wasn't sure if he needed to breathe or was it a subconscious habit. "Sally, I won't, nor could I ever tell you what to do, but I hope you know that …" he looked off to the distant cliffs that looked as if they were made of emeralds, even though it was her favorite jewel, it held a solemn memory. Fear of dying possessed her to take a mystical emerald that would bestow up her the gift of immortality, and as most things in Spooksville it was not exactly as advertised. She had begun anti- aging until she became a useless baby. The emeralds sparkled with mystery and Sally knew that there were so many things to explore in this world and excitement filled her. She waited for him to continue, but after waiting too long for a dramatic pause Sally grabbed him by the chin and made him face her, tears soaked his eyes. "I don't want to go." Sally whispered confidently, with her words she could have sworn that she felt a deep pulse come from Watch's hand that left as quickly as it appeared, he stared at her. "Unless…" doubt began creeping in along with rejection, "unless you don't want me to stay."

"It is most definitely not that, if it were up to me I wouldn't…" he caressed her hand gently and lifted it to his lips with a simple kiss, "I would never let go of your hand, I would never say goodbye."

"Watch," Sally began trying not to laugh at the Jack and Rose reference from Titanic he had not intentionally made, but he continued "I hear you, always, I know how angry and anxious you were after I died. Mostly because I didn't give you much of a say in the matter." He smiled coyly, "I was very glad that you took Watch in as well as you did." Her heart sank; she knew that Watch would be feverishly trying to save her life and how much guilt he would have if he didn't succeed. "I was glad to have him there, he listened, he understood and to be fair he also isn't the same. "

"You don't have to defend your friendship to me, I have been watching you. " That statement was simply said and it made her laugh, "Not always…not...Watching you… isn't exactly what it..."He blurted becoming red from an embarrassed blush. Sally elbowed him in the arm and laid her head on his shoulder, she waited until his energy was calmer to say "how many times you see me naked?" He threw his arms up "I DIDN'T! I swear!" Sally fell over in the sand laughing, Watch laughed and went to grab her but she quickly raised herself and ran into the ocean, and he followed trying to catch her.

She ran until she found herself not quite sure of her surroundings, they were still on the beach and everything from where they came from looked to be in the right locations, but something was missing. When Watch caught up her he took the moment to grab her by the waist and threw her into the ocean, "it's nice to not have to worry about creatures coming up and eating you right?" he said shaking the water out of his hair. She looked into his wet face, his happy eyes laminated and she wondered if this was all real or just a hallucination she created from wishing really hard. "This is real Sally."

"I don't believe it."

"Why not you tend to believe in everything?"

"That's not true."

"You can't lie to me Sara Wilcox." Watch wading softly in the water, he was at peace, he was comfortable, but he still missed her and it made Sally feel pretty unworthy of that. She contemplated on her attitude and actions that she really should have checked when she was younger, but stubborn heartbroken Sally wouldn't have any of it, even when she was sentenced to die back on the Dark Corner. She should have been thankful outwardly to her friends for sacrificing themselves to save her, but she wasn't, her and Watch had made a pact to never give up their lives for the other. Neither could live with the guilt, and if Watch had died in her place she would have ripped him a new one before the stupid ugly trolls had gotten to him. She wouldn't have lived with herself, and if Watch hadn't shown up after his counterpart had died Sally wasn't sure if she wouldn't already be dead herself.

"Madeline's stake!" She exclaimed noticing that it was missing from the landscape; she was shocked that she hadn't noticed it before. "Is she here? Have you met her?" Sally gushed having that unnerving feeling once again as if she had already known her; which according to time warp Watch they had. Sally and Adam had found themselves burning at that stake alongside her in the past, before he had come to her reality and prevented it from happening. They had never gone into full details as to how the timeline had been so severely transformed for Watch to ensure it from happening. Actually, he had been very keen to keep Sally from any information with the time toy, which caused her to think that it may have stemmed from her actions. Not very surprising, there were a lot of things Sally would like to see, experience, and to change.

"I did," Watch answered, "she is not as terrifying as you always wanted to let on." Ok another thing that she was wrong about, but this time she was grateful. It always bothered her that the group had such an easy time trusting Ann when her ancestry was full of evil and manipulation. Their families entwined for centuries, and all her members quoted strongly never under any circumstances trust the Templeton's. Thus her hatred and angst manifests, it was embedded from her birth, maybe even before the kernel of her existence. That was why it wasn't there…she didn't want it to be. This was the beginning of her next life and Sally didn't want the violence and anger to follow her. "You think too much." Watch laughed pulling her back down into the warm water.
