Recap:

"I know what to do," Shikamaru said.

All eyes turned to the Nara.

"You thought about a plan?"

"I'll tell you. But I'm not going to repeat as it's too troublesome."

"Sure. We'll record it, so that you don't have to repeat."

Chapter 21: Ino Will Never Grow Up

"Take care of oba-chan for me, okay?" Sakura kissed her daughter's forehead.

"Hai! Kaa-chan don't leave Yui-chan for long," Yui wailed, she hugged her mother's legs.

"You still have ba-chan. Come on Yui-chan, we'll be late. Say bye, to your okaa-chan."

Sakura ruffled Yui's hair.

Yui looked up at her mother with her big glossy eyes. Sakura sighed for the umpteenth time that day.

"It wouldn't be long. You're making me feel bad with that look of your's. Now wipe your tears and give okaa-chan a beautiful smile." Sakura crouched down to Yui's height and wiped her tears.

Sakura gave Yui one of her most beautiful smiles. When she saw her mother's smile she couldn't help but smile which later turned into a huge - cute - grin.

"Now, that more like it. Don't leave your ba-chan, waiting."

Yui gave her mother a farewell kiss. You couldn't actually call it a farewell though, as Sakura was staying behind for only two days.

Yui ran to her grandmother's side. She turned around and gave her mother a flying kiss.

Sakura acted like she caught the kiss. She waved her daughter and mother, goodbye.

"Aa...she's so cute."

They went for shopping like they planned the day before.

After hours of shopping - Ino dragging the girls everywhere - and buying everything which she finds charming, they took a break by making a stop at Ino's house. They were in Ino's room, trying out the dresses.

"Too high."

"Too revealing."

"Too loose."

"Too girly."

"Too emo-ish."

If you thought they were commenting on each other's dresses then you're wrong. Ino was the one commenting her own clothes. The other three, were on the bed, looking lifeless.

"Aren't you guys going to try on?"

"We already did in the trial room!"

"I forgot. Do you guys want anything to eat?"

"We just ate. How can you be so forgetful?"

"How about some refreshments?"

"Aren't they the same?"

"No. There's a difference."

"Tenten, just say,'yes, bring us the refreshments' instead of debating over it and that also with her."

Before Ino could reply, the door flung open. Inoichi stood there, with a paper - that looked like a bill - on his right hand.

"Ino, explain this."

Inoichi stood in front of his daughter with the paper bill right in front of her face.

"It's a bill of the things that I bought?"

"Did you buy clothes for the whole neighbourhood?!"

"Charity...no...donation? Yes, I donated the clothes!"

"Why are you still acting like a teen? You earn your own salary and yet you still use my card."

"I'll pay you back when I get my paycheck. Geez. Papa you're so stingy."

"Stingy? Why wouldn't I be stingy, when I've got a daughter like you?" Inoichi slapped his forehead.

"Don't worry you wouldn't get anymore credit card bills when I get married. Now go and read some thriller novels."

Inoichi gave up.

After Inoichi left, Ino turned towards to the girls. "Sorry for the inconvenience."

"Hey Ino, can I ask you something?" Sakura slightly raised her eyebrow.

"Sure, go on." Ino sat down on the bed, cross-legged.

"You said you wouldn't be using your otou-san's credit card when you get married, right? So, does that mean that you'll be using Sai's?"

"Uh. Yes? Who else's card am I supposed to use?"

"Poor guy..." Tenten muttered under her breath. But she was sitting next to Ino.

"I'll pretend like I didn't hear that."

"Daddy, can I ask for something?" Ami had her hands behind her back as she went inside her father's room.

Her father was trying on his designer suits for tomorrow's ceremony. There were shoes, ties, etc. scattered over the place. The maids stood in a line beside him, while the butlers helped him put on and two tailors on the other side. Her father was in a good mood, as his aim to expand the company will finally be settled tomorrow.

"Hurry up and ask."

"I made a compilation of our childhood video and pictures-"

"Our? You and Karin?"

"Yes. I did a lot of work on the editing and compiling. I did it myself just for her wedding. Tomorrow she wouldn't be a Watanabe anymore, so I want to remind her of the old times and make this wedding this most precious moment of her life...something that she wouldn't be able to forget."

"So what do you want me to do?" he asked without a hint of interest.

"Can you please put up a large LED screen in the wedding hall?"

"In the wedding hall? Why don't you use the party hall for that?"

"I can't do that daddy! In the party the other family as well as our's will be giving congratulatory speeches and I don't want to wait for that. I want it in the wedding hall, I want to play the video when she walks down the aile! It wouldn't take that long, only five minutes. I even added a song behind the video so that we don't have to use the choir and the pianist."

"I already hired the pianist."

"You can make him play during the party. You know how important tomorrow is...for me, it's the day when I let go of my blood-sibling. It's just a short video it wouldn't take time."

Ami wasn't sure. Will her father agree on this? He was a really stubborn person so it might take some time.

A/N: I'll update the next chapter some hours later. *wink* Love you guys! I'm sorry that I couldn't update sooner than I said I would.
