AN: So I started this chapter on my new tablet, and the touch screen was pissing me off because I couldn't type it fast so I am starting it over on my work computer! But for those asking about Letty and Dom scenes, they are coming and those asking about Brian, this is premovie, the movie will start in the next chapter. Don't yall worry I haven't forgotten about him, nor could I ever forget about him. He's coming. Hope you guys had an awesome Christmas!

A week had passed since the incident with Dom, Letty was beginning to spend all her time in the garage. It didn't really bother Dom; he knew she liked to work on the cars. He took a sip of his coffee when he heard feet shuffling into the kitchen.

"Hey Vince, what's up? Where is everyone?"

"Garage." Vince mumbled.

"We are closed why are they at the garage?"

"Um…" Vince rubbed the top of his head. "Because Letty has been down there for a week now rebuilding a car."

"Excuse me?" Dom stood up from the table. "Why is she doing that? I told her we would get her another car."

"Well she's still kind of pissed off that you slept with Tran's sister."

"She slept with Trevor."

"Yeah…" Vince scratched his head again. "So I was wondering, can I take Mia out?"

Dom had already put the Corona to his mouth when Vince asked the question, beer immediately spewed out of his mouth.

"What?" Dom choked out.

"Well I mean, we have been talking a little bit and I thought maybe I could take her out on a date tomorrow night."

"What makes you think that is a good idea?" Dom asked.

"Because I already asked her and she said yes."

"Vince!" Dom yelled. "You are not dating my sister."

"Look Dom, we have been best friends since we were little, it was bound to happen."

"I will slap the shit out of you." Dom threatened. "So what you thought you could come in here, tell me about Letty's little idea, then you ask me to date my sister and you thought I would be okay with it because you are a good friend?"

"Well…yeah."

"Not happening…ever!" Dom slammed the beer down on the table before storming passed Vince. "I'm going to see what our little latina has gotten herself into."

The two guys rode in silence as they approached the garage. "Where the hell did she get the keys?" Dom asked turning his full body towards Vince.

"Well…"

"This is going to be good isn't it?"

"Look like I said she is pissed at you…"

"I got that."

"So she came to me and Leon and asked for our keys. She wanted to rebuild it herself after hours, so we obliged."

"For what cost?"

"Well not to tell you and fifty dollars a week for a month."

"Really? Fifty dollars? We just made ten thousand and you settled for fifty dollars."

"It also gave me time to spend with Mia as well."

"VINCE!" Dom yelled.

"Okay, okay, I got it!"

"Get out!" Dom pointed to the door. He shook his head as he opened his own door and slammed it making sure everyone knew they were coming.

"Look Dom, she is doing a good job. She already has the engine rebuilt and everything. This is something for her, so lets take it easy when we go in here."

"Move." Dom demanded as Vince stood in the doorway blocking the way for him to go in. Vince moved to the side as Dom put his key into the door and opened it. Letty was standing inside the hood of the car looking at the engine, Dom peered into the office where Jesse was on the computer coming up with designs no doubt. Jesse looked up, Dom pointed his finger at him telling me to come there. "So whats going on?" Dom yelled. Everyone's world stopped.

"Really Vince?" Letty snapped knowing exactly what he did. "You couldn't keep your mouth shut?"

"Do you really think you could hide this from me?" Dom asked.

"Well yes…" Letty started. "I've doing this for a week and you haven't had a clue."

"So you recruit my entire team to help you out because you are pissed off?"

"Yes I'm pissed, but they offered to help me." Letty climbed out of the hood of the car.

"You have got to be the most annoying and stubborn person that I know…"

Vince began to chuckle. "I take that back…the second most annoying and stubborn person that I know. What are you doing Letty? I told you I would buy you another car."

"I wanted to build my own."

"With what parts? Who the hell sold you parts to a car?" Dom glared over at Vince who threw his hands in the air.

"Hey, not me." Vince replied.

"Mr. Martin down the street sold me this car, he bought all the parts for it for me. He said he would like to see it running again. I already rebuilt the entire engine, I mean it needs mostly everything redone, but I can do it I know I can."

"Why didn't you tell me?"

Letty remained quiet. "Oh so now we don't talk?"

"You lied to me." She replied softly. "I was still pissed off, so I decided to take my anger out on something else."

"Letty…" Dom stopped. He rubbed the top of his head. "When are you going to realize that you are the only person for me, what I did was stupid. I've paid for it trust me, but you can't keep sneaking around like this."

"So you aren't mad?" Letty asked.

"Oh I'm freaking pissed." Dom stated. "But, I will let you have the garage after hours until you get the car finished. Then I want my team back."

"Deal." Letty nodded her head.

"What kind of car is this anyways?" Dom asked approaching her.

"A Nissan 240 SX. It doesn't look like it right now but she's going to be amazing when I am done with her."

"I bet."

"So they really only settled for fifty dollars a week?" Dom whispered as he wrapped his arms around her. Letty couldn't help but laugh. "Idiots."

Letty appeared in Mia's doorway that Friday afternoon. "So, you ready for tonight?"

"Lets just get through school today. I'm not ready to think about tonight." Mia began fixing her hair again in the mirror.

"Mi, its only school. What are you doing?"

"I fidget when I'm nervous."

"Aww how cute. Mia's got a little crush."

"Shut it." Mia snapped getting up off the chair and moving to the door. "Lets go before we are late."

"Mia and Vince sitting in a tree…" Letty stopped dead in her tracks when Dom appeared beside them.

"No please finish." He snapped causing a smile to spread across Letty's face.

"No I'm done." Letty replied. She leaned up kissing him on the lips before moving to the stairs.

"You are going to get us all killed." Mia mumbled as they hurried down the stairs to the door.

"Well he shouldn't be standing there like that, I didn't know he was going to be there." Letty replied. They walked outside to the hot air and climbed into Mia's car.

"You know Trevor should be back at school, you going to say anything to him?" Mia asked with a smirk.

"Why would I even acknowledge his presence?" Letty annoyingly looked at her friend.

"Maybe you should thank him for not being the one to blow up your car and that he gets to live another year."

Letty couldn't help but let out a laugh as she listened to Mia. "So where is Vince taking you tonight?"

"I don't know, hes trying not to talk about it. Dom is really pissed off."

"You let me handle Dom." Letty smirked.

"You still pissed off at him?" Mia pulled into a parking space.

"No." Letty was still smiling. "But I love watching him squirm."

"Speaking of pissed, theres Ali Tran." Mia nodded her head in the direction of the Asian. "Let, don't do anything stupid."

"I'm over it Mi, lets just go inside."

Mia nodded her head as they stepped out of the car. They began walking together, Letty knew Mia was tense. Letty just moved passed, that was until Ali decided to open her mouth.

"Hey Letty, hows Dom doing?" Ali asked causing Letty to stop in her tracks.

"Let…" Mia warned.

Letty turned around with a smile on her face. "He's perfectly fine and perfectly happy…with me. I'll tell him you said hi though."

"You do that, also ask him how I tasted while you're at it."

"Oh my." Mia moved over to her friend.

"Oh I will, and how did my sloppy seconds taste to you you stupid bitch?" She was fuming. She moved closer and closer to the girl as a crowd began to form.

"Letty, let's just go." Mia whispered.

"How about you ask your mother." Ali snapped. That was it. Mia let go of Letty's arm, knowing she was going forward. Letty fist connected with Ali's face within a second. That's all it took, just one shot and the girl was on the ground.

"Make sure you tell your brother who that is from." Letty spat. Mia grabbed Letty's arm pulling her away.

"Let are you okay?" Mia asked.

"I cant be here." Letty whispered. Her hands were trembling. "I need to go."

"Take my car. Just go okay, I'll deal with everything here."

Letty nodded her head bringing her best friend into a hug before grabbing the keys and leaving. She knew Dom was going to be pissed when he found out, he was going to be even more pissed when he finds out she left school. She climbed into the car, her hand was beginning to throb from the punch. She put the car in reverse and looked in the mirror as Mia stood there staring at her. This was beginning to become a horrible year.

Mia's car immediately pulled into the garage, stopping but Letty didn't move. She watched as Dom came outside wiping his hands on a towel. He looked confused as he just stared at her. She didn't move.

"Mia?" Dom called out. She sighed as she slowly opened the door and climbed out.

"Letty? What are you doing here?"

"I punched Ali Tran in the face." Letty mumbled.

"What?" Dom was still confused as he moved over to her. She was still shaking as he softly grabbed her.

"I hit her. I might have knocked her out. I couldn't stay there, I just had to go."

"What happened? Why did you hit her? Besides the obvious."

Letty bowed her head. "Let…" Dom lifted her chin with his finger.

"She talked about my mom." Tears began to stream down her face. Dom sighed as he brought her into his arms.

"Why are you always fighting?" Dom chuckled causing her to laugh.

"Atleast I can handle myself." She pulled away from him wiping her face with her arm.

"You know that your mom was an amazing person. She is watching over you right now and I know that she is so proud of you Let. Ali is just some stupid girl. You cant let it bother you."

"I was just so angry still, and she just wouldn't stop talking."

"Yeah, she never did know when to shut up." Dom smiled. She leaned her head into his chest. "You know I love you right?"

Letty nodded her head as he kissed her softly. "Come inside, I want to show you something." He pulled her away grabbing her hand leading her into the garage. "I know Jess told me you wanted it red, so this is what I came up with. He put the emblem on himself, but its almost done."

"Dom…" Letty gasped.

"I've been working on it all morning."

"Its beautiful." She ran her hand across the top of the car.

"A beautiful car for my beautiful girl." He smiled down at her as she wrapped her arms around his body. For Letty, the day was becoming a great one as she slide down into the driver's seat cutting the car on.
