Hey guys
Couples:Clarion x Milori
This is set when Clarion and Milori are younger. Milori still has his wing. They have feelings for each other but they don't show them.

Chapter 21:Only His
Milori's pov
"Are you sure you want to cross?" I told Clarion. She was about to cross into winter for the first time. She was wearing a coat to protect her wings but I wondered if it was enough.
"For the millionth time Milori, Yes!"She knew I was just worried but I would never forgive myself if she broke her beautiful wings. I sighed and looked at her. I couldn't help but stare at the fairy before me.
She was so beautiful. Her long brown hair made my hand itch to run through the thick locks to feel if they was as soft as they looked. The way her bright blue eyes would light up whenever she turned happy, which was a lot, and how they would stare right through me. Her soft pink lips…I had never had the urge to taste a woman's lips before so it had taken me back over how hard the desire had hit me.
"Hey Mr. Zoned Out lets go!" She yelled breaking me out of my trance. I blushed bright red and looked at the ground.
A small giggle makes me glance towards her. I immediately wish I hadn't as Clarion turns that ridiculously adorable grin on me that makes my heart melt and makes me want to do anything just to keep her smiling at me like that.
Ree looked at me oddly, before laughing. I gave her a questioning look.
"You're terribly adorable when you blush." She explained. That just caused me to blush even worse. She smiled and I slowly extended his hand out. She took it and I smiled, his blush faded ever so slightly. I took two steps backwards as she takes two forward.
Clarion was officially the first warm fairy to cross into winter.
I couldn't believe she was actually here in winter with me. I looked out into the snow covered landscape. I smiled and turned to the Clarion.
"Milori its beautiful, thank you for showing me this." We explored from the boarder to the Frost Forest and Glacier Mount.
I ask her every once in a while if she was cold and she would always tell me she was fine. We got into constant snowball fights that I would usually win. We walked around and talked and laughed. Frost, her laugh was so beautiful just like everything else about her.
I sigh "Ree it's almost time for you to start heading back."I say, not matter how much it hurts.
"Yeah,"She looks down before perking up "But I had a lot of fun we should do this again." I cracked a small smile. She leans forward, brushes her lips over my cheek, whispers a quick goodnight before leaving. I place my hand on my cheek, still warm, with a love struck smile on my face. I look down and sigh.
I can't help but feel a sense of loss as I watch Clarion leave. I sigh and begin flying towards the Ice Palace. When did I come to care so much for her? When did I start thinking of her as more than just another fairy and more of a crush? Sighing I slowly make my way over to a small pond. I splash water on my face and shiver as the cold water hits my skin.
I shiver again as a rather strong wind whips through the pond, making it ripple. I wonder how Clarion is doing? Is she home in the warm seasons? Is she warm? Is she cold? All at once I begin leaving the pond. Something in me is compelling me to move. To find my princess and make sure she's ok. I'm not sure what's making me do it, but I am. Before I even realize it I'm out of the clearing and flying through the forest. Her boot prints were covered slightly, but for the most part it's easy to follow.
Moving through the forest I felt my pace quicken. Something inside of me was telling me that Clarion was in trouble. Bursting through the wall of trees and bushes I enter a small clearing. My eyes widen and my throat tightens. Across from me, Clarion is lying face down on the snow. Her hair had came out of her usual bun and was spread around, shielding her face.
For a few moments I kneel next to her unsure of what to do. Do I move her? Do I try to wake her up? I knew that I couldn't leave her their. Nature provides me with an answer.
All around me the trees rustle in a high cold wind. Even with being use to the cold, I shiver. If I'm cold Clarion must to be cold too. I pick her up bridle style and hold her close to my chest. She's still not awake and it's with a sense of hast that I head to a cave. I walk in a little further and set her down inside.
Leaving the cave I begin pulling small branches off of the trees and putting them into a large pile just inside the cave. After I'm satisfied with the pile, I grab two small stones and spark them, lighting the wood. Instantly the cave lights up with the light from the fire. Moving back to Clarion, I wrap her in my cloak and begin rubbing her arms, shoulders and back, keeping her even warmer.
Wrapping my arms around her, I smile as I realize she's no longer shivering and is actually nuzzling into me. Smiling I close my eyes and gently drift off the sleep, holding my princess, my Clarion.
Everything about last night is foggy, but he's here now…and there's no reason that he shouldn't catch up on his sleep before he is forced to wake up and face the Lord of Winter. He shifts to get comfortable ,but there's something that he hadn't noticed before weighing him down. A warm solid thing on his stomach. He reaches down to shove it off and…it's soft.
The thing he's holding now is very soft and comforting. He threads his fingers through long silky strands that are inexplicably warm, smiling softly. His hands wrap around it, because it's heavy and he wants to rub his cheek against it, and his fingers brush against a different texture…smooth, slightly pointy and a little waxy maybe…That's an ear!
His eyes snapped open and he looked down and blushed. Clarion was asleep on his chest and stomach, breathing peacefully in her sleep. He didn't think he would ever tire of that sight.
He studied her as she continued to sleep on his chest. Not that he minded, he rather enjoyed being a pillow to her and only her. She was rather tall and slender, much more curvy and petite than anything. Her hair was a deep chestnut brown in the dark but sparkled amber in the light of the sunrise. Her eyes were shut though, shielding their own unique beauty from the world.
She smiled in her sleep, he could tell she was dreaming, by the way her eyes flickered and by the contented little noises that she made as she slept. He felt odd. He felt warm, despite being a winter fairy, his stomach would do flips and somersaults and he felt like he was flying even though he remained on the ground.
He was in love. Unwavering, all-encompassing, all-consuming, never-going-to-be-the-same-again love. The kind you would only experience once in a lifetime.
Milori smiled and buried his face in her hair even her scent was enough to make him happy. He pulled her gently to him and cradled her body to his, nuzzling with a possession that could never be fully explained. He rests her head onto his shoulder.
He stroked her hair and she sighs, completely content. He places feather soft kisses on her forehead, and cheeks, and placing even softer ones on her eyes and nose. He feels her cheek rub against his chest, she was waking up.
Clarion sighed as she slowly awoke, rubbing her cheek against her soft pillow only to freeze when she felt the surface of her pillow was softer than the ones in her room. Then she remembered that she was not in her room. The scent of the evergreens and pine hit her and she realized who she was using as a pillow case and mentally groaned. She fell asleep on him?
"Morning," Milori greeted, his voice unusually soft. Clarion just continued to pretend sleeping so she didn't have to face him. Beside, her head was quite comfortable where it was and she loathed moving it.
"I found you in the Winter Woods, so I took you to the cave we found." So, he saved her and she falls asleep on him. Life just wasn't fair sometimes.
"Do you know you drool?" That got a reaction from her.
"I do not drool!" She snapped, her head jerking up from his shoulder, her eyes flashing.
"So, you were awake the whole time," He remarked with a smirk, getting a harder glare from the girl as she realized she had been tricked.
"You tricked me," she hissed.
"Guilty," he admitted, rolling the shoulder that she had been leaning on.
"My shoulder was getting numb." Her anger faded as concern and regret flushed through her as she remembered that she must have slept on it all night.
Ree's face was as red as a tomato as she looked away for a second, embarrassed because she was the reason his shoulder was numb and for having to sleep on a cold cave floor instead of a normal bed.
"Sorry about that..." He smiled, she was completely adorable when she thought she had done something wrong.
"Oh Ree" the prince made a genuine, hearty laugh
"It's quite alright. I really don't mind." He looked into her blue eyes and was shocked, he saw, inside their usual brightness, passion and...love? She returned his feelings? She slowly leaned forward so her lips were ghosting over his, absolutely begging to be kissed senseless.
Milori slowly leaned even closer to her, she closed her eyes and Milori pulled her closer. They were less than a centimeter apart, he closed his eyes.
Then he pressed his lips against hers. As soon as Milori's ice cold lips touched her soft warm lips, they both felt something they had never felt before. It lasted for a few seconds but it was filled with so much love and passion. When he pulled away, he tucked her head under his chin. She nuzzled his neck and he held her tighter.
That was when he knew that, without a doubt, she was his and only his.
