Wah! I've been so lazy to continue writing my fanfics qwq
Since most fans never voted on my poll, I've decided to just update two to three stories/chapters every two or three weeks depending on my mood. Using the poll once again, fans please vote on two or three stories you'd like me to update!
On another note, Another Adventure has 30 or so chapters left, I'm so lazy nowadays qwq And I plan to write a sequel as well, but based on the school life of the next generation :D

this will be the end of the short Bethma arc, and we'll go to Altera arc, Fieta arc includes 2nd job change and I will not include the newest village Lanox or Lu/Ciel in this story x3
perhaps the sequel tho... and I am really bad at writing boss battles so... sorry to our wonderful villains qwq (filler chapter i guess? since the character that this story's focused on isn't technically involved til the end
chapter twenty: dragon nest
After Ayu woke up from the incident, the gang went to clear some of the areas in Bethma. Reika, Yuuki, Raven and Konoha were chosen to go clear Dragon Nest. Reika's servant, Alice, followed them as well.
"Do you think putting Raven and Konoha was a good idea, Els?" questioned Ri.
The redhead grinned, "Well, let's see if they will make up."
"If they do, I'd like to see what Ri-chan's going to do~" Rena said.
"Hey, Rena. Don't you like Raven?" Aisha asked.
"Hmm... a tiny bit."
"You liked him a tiny bit yet you fought with me..."
"So?"
"Note, Rena is a weird elf." Ara spoke to herself.
"How am I weird?!" Rena overheard and pouted.
"You still seem weird, ya know." Yuki said, petting Peridot and sitting next to Ayu who was clinging onto Yuki's left arm.
"Whatever." Rena said, sticking her tongue out at the girls.
"Anyways, are we having a girl talk because of we are, us guys are leaving." Add said.
Skyrel gestured her hands, "Yes, we are, senpai. Now shoo, leave us girls alone."
"Yeah, yeah." Takuma said, leaving the room. The rest of the boys, including Jun and Col followed Takuma.
"Tch. Why am I stuck with you in this place?"
"No. It's why am I stuck with you in this place?" Konoha repeated what Raven said, emphasizing the 'I' and 'you'.
"Cut the crap and can we hurry and finish this?" Reika said, tired of their fighting.
"You guys are too slow, I've already cleared this section myself," Yuuki said, rolling her eyes at the boys.
"Okay, we'll help," Raven said.
"Can't you two just get along?" Yuuki asked.
"How can I get along with a guy who's in love with my girlfriend?" Konoha replied, glaring at Raven.
"Oh? You're dating?" Raven asked.
"Yes, do you have a problem with us dating?"
"Well don't you already know the answer?"
Yuuki and Reika sighed, "Why isn't Ayu here when we need her?" Yuuki said to herself.
Ayu shook a tiny bit, Why does it seem like someone's talking about me?
"Is there anything wrong, Ayu-chan?" Yuki asked.
Ayu shook her head and went back to clinging onto Yuki's arm and petting Peridot as well.
"Double Combination: Dual Cut." Reika slashed the lizardmen with his dagger and Alice slashes them the opposite direction, finishing them off.
Reika looked back towards the start of the area, seeing Raven and Konoha having some staring contest.
"Uh... are you two done with your contest because I'm done clearing this area."
Raven and Konoha ended their contest and ran over to Reika and Yuuki having a running contest instead. Yuuki and Reika facepalmed.
"Ignition Crow - Napalm!"
Raven shoots out a burning crow, burning the floor and killing the next section of lizardmen, bats and komodos.
"Tch." Konoha looked at Raven, angry.
"Don't tell me they're having a clearing the monsters contest..." Yuuki said.
"Sadly, they apparently are." Reika spoke.
"Icicle Arrows!" Konoha shoots arrows of ice at the lizardmen. "Ice Armaments - Blade." He finishes them off with his icicle blade, slashing through them.
"Nice, nice."
They heard someone clapping near them.
"Who's there?" Raven asked.
"Try and find me."
"Tch."
Slash.
Raven suddenly dropped to the ground. The other three started to back up onto each other.
"Stealth type?"
"I don't think there should be a stealth type in a place like this." Konoha said.
"Smart now aren't we?" A black-haired boy suddenly appeared in front of them, smiling. His black-and-grey eyes illuminated some sort of evil aura.
"Who are you?" Reika asked.
"Hunter is the host. But my name's Jack the Ripper."
"You're a demon, correct?" Yuuki asked.
"Yes."
"Then I guess we'll have to annihilate you."
"Alice. Double Combination: Sealing Trap."
Reika summoned a magic circle right below Hunter/Jack.
"Tch."
He summoned a spear from that magic circle and gives it to Alice, whom throws it up into the air. The spear then get shrunk and multiplied, ending it with Alice using the mini spears to attack Hunter.
"Volcano Strike!" Hunter slammed his sword onto the ground, creating waves of magma.
"Ah!" Yuuki and the other two quickly dodge the magma. Raven was still down.
"Dash Slash." Hunter quickly caught the three, lightly scarring them.
"Fire Army." Hunter then quickly summoned about 10-15 fire golems to assist him.
"Frost Chain!" Konoha got Hunter into his chains pulling him towards the others.
"Awakening, Seizure of Darkness. Black Hole Explosion!"
Ri, in her demonic mode, suddenly appeared, summoning her deadly black hole that explodes, leaving Hunter gone after the explosion cleared up.
"Tch." Reika stared.
"What are you doing here, Ri?" Raven asked, finally up.
"Eh... we were having a girl talk then I ran off to see how you guys were doing." Ri said, smiling brightly.
Raven looked at her pure smile, If only I could make her smile like that... It's so obvious those two are perfect for each other but I still like her...
