. . . . . . . . . . . . .
I awoke to find myself sitting on the cold, hard floor. I slowly opened my eyes and looked around. It was dark, so it was hard to see. I could just barely make out a silhouette of a small person sitting against the wall to my right, his limbs tied together and his head hanging, as if he were unconscious. I tried to stand, but I heard metal chains clinking together. My ankles were in shackles.
"Where am I?" I asked aloud. This placed seemed oddly familiar. Then, the memories came rushing back to me. Ciel and I were kidnapped. I recognized the two men that took us away as men that were constantly on guard outside the room I was being kept in during my time of being tortured. 'Ciel!' my mind yelled.
"Ciel?" I asked frantically. "Ciel? Are you there?" I heard a small groan coming from the figure against the wall. I looked back over to it to see him stirring. "Ciel?"
"Katheryn?" the voice responded wearily. It was Ciel that was against the wall.
"Are you alright?" I asked.
"I'm fine. Are you?"
"Yes, I'm alright."
"Where are we?" I just as I was opening my mouth to speak, the heavy door a few yards in front of me opened, and a figure clad in a black robe walked in, shutting the door with a clang behind him. 'No! Please! It can't be him!'
"You're in a very special place, young boy." a creepy male's voice that I recognized spoke. "The place where this girl should have been during the time she was at your manor."
"Who are you?" Ciel demanded loudly.
"I go by the name," he said, inching closer to the light. "Thanatos." 'Death. . .' I thought. 'What a horrible name.'
"Well then, Thanatos," Ciel said, placing great emphasis on his name. "what business have you with us?"
"You see," the man said, walking over to Ciel, his face covered by a black hood. "I have some unfinished business with the girl. You were in my way, so my men took you as well. I will not harm you, Ciel Phantomhive. Not yet, at least." he said, and laughed strangely. His laugh reminded me of Undertaker's laugh in a strange way; except his laugh was much darker and more evil, lacking the happiness and amusement in Undertaker's laugh.
"I only want the girl." he said, then he walked over to me. The door opened again, and another person walked in, also clad in a black robe and hood. 'Not him, too!' I whimpered. They were getting ready to beat me.
"What are you doing?" Ciel asked as they both crept closer to me. "Don't you dare harm her!" he shouted. Just as they were a foot from me, Ciel screamed, "Sebastian!" at the top of his lungs.
"Your butler cannot help you, dear boy." Thanatos said.
"He will have his hands tied for quite some time." the second said, his voice much deeper than Thanatos's. "There is no way you can be saved now, Juliet."
. . . . . . . . . . . . .
Sebastian's POV
I had just gotten finished with checking around the mansion. Lucky for me, everything was in fairly good shape. I started walking to the young Master's room to prepare him for bed. I was nearly to the door when I caught scent of something odd. Sleeping drugs.
I followed the scent to Miss Katheryn's room, all the way down the hall. The door was wide open, and no one was inside. I cautiously stepped into the room and looked around. I noted that the window was also open. I walked over to it and peered outside. Blackness covered the night sky, a few stars twinkling here and there. The garden looked undisturbed. But something must have happened.
"Young Master?" I called out, facing the room once more. "Miss Katheryn? Oh, my. What has become of you?"
I began walking around the manor, searching for any sign of them. After nearly an hour of no luck, I was positive they had been kidnapped. The young Master was simply a magnet for trouble. Miss Katheryn was just the same. I always had my hands full with the both of them around.
"Sebastian!" I faintly heard my young Master calling from a distance away. I immediately ran out of the manor and at top speed to my young Master. He sounded greatly distressed, which could not be good. I went all the way to the other side of London, and I came upon a large manor inside of a large wall. The inside was swarming with men and guns. They must have been ready for me. My young Master would just have to hang in there until I could arrive.
I crept along the wall and found a suitable place to jump it. I silently jumped over it and landed into it's dark shadow, catching the attention of a few of the guards.
"Oi! What was that?" one of them shouted. "Did you see something?"
"Where?"
"Over there! I think I saw something jumping the wall!"
"What was it?"
"I don't know! I just saw a dark figure. It looked like a person!"
"Inspect it!" then, a few of the men began walking in my direction. They were standing only about a yard away now.
"I represent the Phantomhive household. I have come to retrieve my young Master and his 'special someone'." I spoke up, startling the men.
"Someone's there!"
"Who the bloody hell are you?"
"Phantomhive household? Isn't that boy named Phantomhive?"
"Shoot him!"
"Where is he?" I began to attack the men, catching them all by surprise. Their screams of terror filled the air as I finished them off, one by one. I finally killed them all, but I was sure there were plenty more waiting for me.
"I'm coming, young Master." I said aloud as I walked up the grand steps to the front doors, a graveyard of bodies laying motionless behind me. "Please wait for me."
. . . . . . . . . . . . .
Katheryn's POV
The men jerked me up to my feet and raised my arms, putting my wrists in shackles as well. I let them hang limp as they were held up by chains from the wall. 'There's no escaping this.' I thought sadly as one of the men lit a few torches so they could properly see to torture me. My knees were shaking with terror. I could now see the table on the far side of the room to my left, filled with several torture devices. I looked down to my ankles, and I could see dried blood on the concrete floor. My blood.
"Are you ready, my dear?" Thanatos asked, picking up a whip. The other man stood back, simply watching. My heart began to beat even harder and faster than before.
"Don't you dare lay a hand on her!" Ciel said, starting to throw a fit. "I swear I will have your heads if you harm her in any way! Leave her alone, you bastards!"
"Shut your trap, boy." the second man said, walking over to him and gagging him. "Why's she so special to you anyways?" Ciel continued to yell and scream through the gag, squirming around.
"Don't you know, Frederick?" Thanatos asked, examining the whip in his hand. "She's his lover. Don't ask me why. I don't see what she's got that's so special. Except those eyes. So lovely, aren't they? Either way, she still isn't special."
"Mmph mph mmph!" Ciel argued through the gag, glaring daggers with his visible eye. "Mmph mph mph mphmph mmph mphmmph!" Ciel said, his words muffled.
"I'm sorry, what was that?" Thanatos asked. "You have something over your mouth, and I can't quite understand you." then, the two men both chuckled darkly.
"Mmmph!" Ciel screamed, throwing a temper tantrum, thrashing around violently. "Mmphmphmmph!"
"Let's get on with this." Frederick said as Thanatos began walking over to me. I whimpered, and tears welled up in my eyes. Thanatos raised up the whip, and brought it down with a crack. It hit my stomach, and I yelled in pain.
"Mmphmph!" Ciel said, staring at me with a wide eye. Thanatos continued to whip me for several more minutes, which felt like hours. When he finally stopped, my thighs, stomach, chest, and temple were bleeding. There were also tears streaming down my cheeks. My throat hurt from screaming so much. My whole body stung. Thanatos put the whip away, and Frederick walked over to me. He took the shackles off of my ankles and arms, and threw me over his shoulder.
"Time for me to have some fun." he said. I knew what was coming next. The thing he had tried to do to me before, but I managed to escape before he could. He was going to have his way with me. I was too tired to fight back, so I hung limply from his shoulder.
Thanatos picked up Ciel, and said "Hope you enjoy the show, Phantomhive." then, we walked up the stairs and to the top floor. We could hear screams coming from the foyer. Sebastian was here. I just hoped he would get to us in time, before it was too late.
We walked to the end of the hallway, and the door opened to reveal a simple room. It had a small bed and a window, was all. It was the room I had managed to escape out of before. I knew it wasn't happening this time. I was thrown down onto the bed, and my wrists were chained to a bar on the bed, pinning my arms above my head. My ankles were bound as well. Ciel was put down against a wall.
"Don't take too long, Frederick." Thanatos said, shutting the door with a soft click. He leaned against the far wall and crossed his arms, observing. 'Please help me, God.'
. . . . . . . . . . . . .
Sebastian's POV
I walked into the manor, and I was immediately attacked from all sides by human men swamping the room. I used a silver platter I had brought to defend myself against the bullets heading my way. I pulled several knives and forks out of my suit and began throwing them at them, hitting them right between the eyes every time.
I could faintly, over the sounds of gunshots, hear a girl's screaming. I knew immediately it was Miss Katheryn. I could also hear my young Master frantically calling for me repeatedly. I could tell that it was coming from somewhere downstairs. I needed to hurry. But, the damned humans just kept coming; they never seemed to stop. I was starting to run out of silverware. I had other methods.
I began tearing them apart with my bare hands. I used plates and furniture. Eventually, they stopped coming. They were all dead. Sometime during the middle of our fight, I heard my master and Miss Katheryn going upstairs. I knew something bad was going to happen if I didn't get there in time.
I dashed up the stairs and to the room I knew they had entered. I could hear Miss Katheryn's screams of protest, and my Master's muffled 'mmph's of protest. He was still mentally calling me. I kicked down the door to see a disturbing sight.
. . . . . . . . . . . . .
Katheryn's POV
I screamed protests as the evil man's- Frederick- large hands grazed up and down my body. Ciel was red-faced by now from trying so hard to curse at them through the gag.
"P-Please stop!" I shouted, trying to wriggle free from his grip. His hands were resting on my chest.
"Don't act like you don't like this." he said lowly, sucking on my neck.
"Ahh! Stop!" I screamed, trying to move so he was away from me. It was no use. I was too weak, and he was too strong. Once he was finished there, he leaned back and started to slowly move his hand up my skirt.
"Mmph! Mmph mph mmph mph mph mph!" Ciel yelled into the gag. I was trembling so badly one would have thought I had hypothermia. His fingers touched and caressed my womanly parts, and I gasped.
"Get your hands off of me!" I shouted, trying to kick him. Unlucky for me, he was holding my ankles down with his other hand. Just as he was about to lift my skirt up, the door came crashing down.
Everyone froze, and all heads turned towards the tall man clad in all black standing in the doorway. My body filled with relief at the sight. His eyes quickly scanned over the scene before him. When his eyes fell on the man hovering above me, his eyes narrowed to slits.
"Mph mph!" Ciel shouted into the gag. As quick as lightning, the man in black was towering above the man. He grabbed him by the neck and held him up in the air.
He produced a knife from his suit pocket, and forcefully jammed it into the man's skull. He immediately went limp. Thanatos began trying to run to the doorway, but Sebastian grabbed him as well, giving him the same fate as the first man.
"Sebastian." I breathed in relief. Sebastian looked over to me, concern etched in his face. His eyes skimmed over my body, taking in the dried blood and tears all over my clothes.
"Miss Katheryn." he said, then walked over to me. He pulled my skirt down and began to untie my ankles. "Are you alright, my lady?" he asked, glancing up at me. Tears began to flow down my cheeks in rivers. I was so thankful he had showed up when he did.
"I-I'm fine." I said shakily. Sebastian then moved up to my wrists, breaking the cuffs on my wrists and setting me free. As soon as I was no longer bound, I sat up and threw my arms around his waist.
"Thank you." I said quietly. I did not, under any circumstances, want to be sexually assaulted today.
"But, my lady," Sebastian protested. "I did not even arrive in time to save you from-"
"I don't care." I said, burying my face in his chest. "I would take that any day than what I was just about to get. Thank you." I said again. Then, I looked up and gave Sebastian a watery smile. "I'm only glad you came." Sebastian gave a small smile.
"My lady is too kind." he said. I released him, and he went over to Ciel. He gingerly picked him up and placed him down on the bed next to me. He untied him, and Ciel immediately threw his arms around me.
"Katheryn, I'm so sorry I let this happen." he said, his voice shaking. His face was buried in my hair, so I couldn't see it. He sounded like he was about to cry.
"Don't apologize." I said, stroking his hair gently. My whole body still stung, but I tried my best to ignore it. "It's not your fault. There wasn't anything you could do."
"I feel so helpless." he said, sighing.
"Ciel, you aren't helpless." I said. "If you weren't here, I would have been harmed on a whole different level." I said, trying not to shudder at the thought. If he wasn't here, then he couldn't have called for Sebastian. Consequentially, they wouldn't have found me in time, and I would have been taken advantage of.
"Thank you." I said, closing my eyes and turning my face into his neck. "I probably would have gone crazy if you weren't here." Being alone here again would have messed with my mind. Ciel pulled away and gave a small smile, which I returned.
"Sebastian," Ciel said. "I want you to carry her." I would have protested, saying I could walk fine. But, I didn't have the energy to argue, Ciel would have won, anyways. "And when we get back to the manor, tend to her wounds."
"Yes, my Lord." Sebastian said. He gingerly picked me up bridal style and led the way out of the place that would forever haunt me.
There were dead bodies all over the place. I turned my face into Sebastian's chest and tried to ignore them. After a few minutes, my eyelids grew heavy. I let the darkness fill my vision as I drifted off to sleep. At least it was all over now. Or, so I thought.
