Sorry it's late guys! I had to sit through a massively long choir practice last night as my director yelled at me. It was torturous and I seriously hate him right now. GRRR I can't wait for our concert to be over so he stops stressing out on us. Ok rant over. But sorry for being late!

Lovely Reviews and thank you's:

Thanks to LilyEvans2510 for the follow and favorite! Thanks to Shiranai Atsune and Lara1221 for the follows!

Rachelmarie: I found lots of crazy scary things on the archives when I first started looking on ffn as well. But now that I've joined HPFC, I don't really go archive surfing anymore cuz I have a bunch of people's profiles to go stalk for stories, and if they love fanfiction enough to actively participate in the forum, they're usually pretty good writers. Idk if you can visit forums through a guest account, but if you can, go find the Harry Potter Fanfiction Challenges forum. It's awesome. But I'm glad my fic caught your eye! I hope it continues to interest you. As for where this story is going... your guess is almost as good as mine. I have awesome stuff planned for her fifth, sixth and seventh years, but as for in between... I'm probably going to skip through most of that stuff because it isn't too important. Silena herself probably won't be coming across too much information, but other characters will be. Like Albus. You'll see. :) And... I can't tell you who her mother is. For all you know, you may not have met her yet... Also, totally can't say who the dad is. You may have met him. You've probably met him. But I will not confirm any guesses made. And don't hesitate to ask as many questions as you wish. I just might not answer them all. Thanks for reviewing!

Remi: Yes, Neville gets to go find Lena. Man you're behind. Sorry I'm just trying to remember reasonings behind chapter 2 and it was so long ago my brain just goes blank. I think my reasoning for why he doesn't think she'll be like Voldemort is because she sorta reminds him of Fred and George. And then the reality comment is so Luna. My reasoning might not have carried across as well as I wanted it to, though. Thanks for the review!

MuggleJane: Yay elves! I sort of imagine them having cat reflexes, so they can be super duper nimble. They also might know about the existence of the calming knot... You're going to later see a scene where I go into detail about how they climb the Whomping Willow, so i don't want to say too much. And McGonagall did see Harry come out from under the cloak in Ravenclaw Tower, so I figured she would know of the existence. And I think all of you would have slaughtered me if I hadn't written the ball scene. That would've been too cruel. Thanks for the review!

Uni-tunes (Ch 19): Like your new nickname? XD And you'll find out! Like last chapter. But since you're on Chapter 19, you don't know yet. And well, no one got hurt, but they could've... Also McGonagall was more pissed about them getting past her than the actual prank. Which is why she only took away 50 points. Thanks for reviewing, darling!

Gamma: Oh, Gamma, you will most DEFINITELY be seeing the elven society. All those questions will be answered. Some a bit later, and some are going to be touched briefly soon and then will go more in depth later, but you will be happy. But I'll warn you, it's going to change the rating from K to at least T, possibly M, depending on how evil I'm feeling at certain parts. I've already got one part planned. I'm not sure if I'm going to show it or mention the dirty deed (no NOT sexual) but it's mean and scary and totally elven. As soon as I've worked out the "Guardian Angel" part as well, I'll include it. That was more of a thing to keep them from saying "from the Elves" or "your family" or "Your creepy stalkers who have been watching your every move since the day we left you at that orphanage". Cuz all of those would have made Lena go berserk for answers. And I have plans for the pendant. It's sort of an elven custom? That's all I can say. Thanks for reviewing!

Uni-Uneh (Ch 20): Awesome you're caught up! Haha I'll never tell you who mommy and daddy are.. jk I will eventually. But not yet. The elves will be ready for her eventually. But if I tell you why right now, that'll spoil a lot. The pendant is going to be built upon, and yes more elves! You've got a short bit in this one, but this chapter is a bit more filler than actual plot. Sorry. Writers block and RL are bitches.

James sat with his brother in the nearly empty Ravenclaw common room, playing wizard's chess. Rosie and Scorpius were lounging on the couches, each reading they're own book silently.

James glanced at them to make sure they weren't listening before muttering Muffliato so they wouldn't hear anything. Albus glanced at him sharply, and leaned in, ready to listen to whatever his brother had to say.

"Al, I need to tell you something. About the night Fred and I crashed the Ball." He moved a chess piece forward, not looking at his brother, maintaining a picture of calm detachment so his intelligent brother couldn't glean any information off him.

"This has something to do with Lena, doesn't it?" Albus queried quietly, moving forward his knight.

"Brownie. And yes, it does. She... she did something. Something not quite... normal." James shifted uncomfortably in his seat before moving his castle and taking out a pawn.

"What did she do?"

"She managed to change my appearance to look exactly like hers. It was good enough to fool McGonagall, too. It was like she'd given me polyjuice potion, but it was just her magic."

Albus frowned before moving his queen and taking out James rook. "Well that's odd. Did she use a made up charm, or her wand, or just... her mind?" He thoughtfully watched the board as James made another move.

"She just used her mind. But she seemed to sort of shimmer when she was making me look like her. Like her appearance faded a bit. She was almost translucent for a split second. Then it was gone. I'm not even sure if I'm seeing things..." James scowled at the board, both in frustration from the puzzling girl and the fact that Albus had just captured his queen.

"I'll go look in the library after this chess game is done. Which it will be in..." he paused as James made another move. "Three moves. Great. I might have time to play some Quidditch after, too!"

Eyes widening, James swore as he realized his brother had tricked him in to a trap once again.

"Roxy, let's go have a snowball fight." Her older brother was standing behind her, his chin resting on her head as she tried to write her Potions essay. Roxanne Weasley was going to make use of the quiet in the common room before everyone came back from holiday and tried to rush through their homework.

"No, Fred, I'm writing my Potions essay," she groaned, sinking deeper into the soft armchairs of the Gryffindor common room.

"Pleeeeeeeeease, Roxy, I know you love snowball fights..." He squeezed his little sister's shoulders, doing everything he could to distract her from her homework. "You have the entire week left in break to finish it. Can't you do it later while you're sitting by the fire with hot cocoa and warming up from our playtime?"

Roxy sighed. She did love snowball fights...

"Fine, Fred, but go round up some more people first. I don't want to play with just you. I'll die of hypothermia before I can get inside," she grumbled, trying to sound unenthusiastic.

She watched as he quickly round up her littlest Gryffindor cousin and the new girl the Potters had befriended. What was her name agian? Lisa? Lea? Serena?

"Ok, Rox, I've got Lily and Brownie here to play, and Caleb Thomas is going to go find James, Albus, Rosie and Scorpius. Oh, and we've also got some more people coming. Let's go down and start building some forts!" He grinned and dragged them out into the cold.

Tamaran shivered slightly as he stood silently in the shadow of the tree, watching the girl unobserved. He wished he could use magic to warm himself, but the girl would've felt the flare of power instantly. Oh well. This was what being gisir was about right? Following his Ohta Cara's orders? Well, today, his Ohta Cara had ordered him here.

He watched the agar carefully. She was small, petite, blonde, and the pendant sparkled against her creamy white throat in the weak sunlight. She looked similar to her elven mother, he supposed, although he could spot many traces of her father in her. However, he could see she had her mother's vanyƫ and also her n'uma gorga- the spirit he saw in the tiny agar was more than even some of the bravest gisir under the Ohta Cara's command.

It seemed that mixing the superior elven blood with the strong blood of a wizard warrior resulted in a very powerful, very fiesty child, Tamaran thought as he watched the girl smack a redhead in the face with a snowball. She pranced lightly on her feet, not even realizing that sometimes she alighted an inch off the ground. She didn't always leave footprints.

As he felt the leather band around his wrist tighten with what he knew was an order to report back to his Ohta Cara immediately, Tamaran silently slipped back into the woods, never noticed by any of the wizards. However, if he were to turn back around, he would have noticed the girl staring at his retreating back, and the place where there should have been footprints.

"Percy! How lovely to see you, dear!" Ginny kissed her brother on the cheek, stamping off the cold as she and her husband entered the spacious house.

Ginny had listened to what her son had told her in the letter and suggested they go over to Percy's for dinner that night. Lucy was home and she loved to hear about her aunt and her conquests on a broomstick. When Percy willingly said yes, Ginny spent all week trying to plan out how to phrase her inquiry of Lucy.

"Aunt Ginny!" The devil herself came racing into the room, her auburn curls bouncing in tight corkscrews. "I'm so glad to see you!" The eleven year old grabbed her aunt's hand and dragged her towards her bedroom. "I've got something so exciting to show you, Aunt Ginny. Daddy got it for me for Christmas!" She dragged her aunt int to the room, where there was a beautiful Firebolt Air leaning against the wall. "I know I can't bring it to school, but Daddy says that if I do well on exams this spring then next year I can try out for the team!" The girl was literally bouncing with pleasure.

As she rambled on about her new broomstick, Ginny looked around the room. Already, the girl had decorated it with Slytherin decorum. There were Snake banners on the walls, silver and green sheets on the bed, and a photo of three Slytherin girls, Lucy being one of them, taped to the headboard. While decorated with taste, it shocked Ginny how quickly the little girl had taken to her new house. It seemed like she wanted to rub it into her family's faces that she was a Slytherin.

"Aunt Ginny?" Ginny looked over at the girl, who had clearly just asked a question.

"I'm sorry, dear, I was just admiring your room. What was that?"

"It's nothing."

There was a slight pause, then, "Congratulations, Lucy, on making Slytherin. I really am proud of you, dear," Ginny said quietly, sitting down on the sliver and green bed. Lucy sat beside her and sighed.

"I love my dorm mates, and I love everything about being in Slytherin, honestly, I really do. But..."

"But what?"

"Never mind."

"Has it got something to do with my children? I know James has a tendency to be very mischievous, and he teased Al mercilessly about being a Ravenclaw his first year. He isn't doing the same thing to you, is he?" Ginny looked at Lucy worriedly. She could see that something was wrong, but she wasn't sure.

"No, no, James isn't teasing me... he would have to talk to me to do that." She laughed weakly, her eyes filling with tears.

"Lucy, darling, is he not speaking to you? That's terrible of him! I knew he would be a little confused over your being Slytherin, but I had hoped he wouldn't have earned that much of his uncle's prejudice. I should never have let him hang out with Uncle Ron so much when he was younger." Ginny clenched a fist in her lap. Her son hadn't mentioned this new development in his letter, and she was going to give him a piece of her mind in her next letter.

"No, no it's not his fault. It's my fault. I hated the fact that they were surprised and awkward about me being a Slytherin, but they were completely accepting of Hugo being sorted into Hufflepuff. Half of our family has branched out to other houses, and the only one who got affronted looks was me. I was so angry and sort of hurt, and then, in class one day, Lily and Lena were goofing off and getting away with it, but I got in trouble. I just... I got angry. And I did something really mean to Lena. Then, when James and Albus came to tell me to say sorry, I did something even worse." She paused, scared to go on.

"What did you do, Lucy? It's alright; you can tell me."

"I... I called Lena a 'mudblood'," the girl whispered into her knees.

Ginny stiffened slightly, then pulled the little girl close to her. "That is not something I ever want you to say again, young lady," she said severely. "However, I can tell you're really sorry for it. If you apologize to James and Albus for saying it, they'll forgive you. They still love you. And just because you're a Slytherin and the girls are Gryffindors doesn't mean they get any special treatment. Lena's already landed herself in a detention with Fred and James, from what I heard from McGonagall. So don't worry about that. She's getting her punishment. And I'll speak to all three of my children if you would like." Ginny smiled at Lucy, wiping away the tears that were pooled at the edges of her eyes, about to fall. "You are a strong, intelligent, beautiful young lady, and just because you are part of the Slytherin House does not mean you are a terrible person. We all say and do things in anger that we do not mean, and if we apologize after, we are often forgiven. So apologize to James for saying what they did. And I'll ask him to apologize as well. He should, after all, if he hasn't been speaking to you."

Lucy smiled once more. "Thanks, Aunt Ginny. You're the best."

Albus headed deep into the shelves of the library. He wasn't sure what James was describing, as they hadn't learned anything about creatures that could change appearances. They hadn't even reached boggarts yet in Defense Against the Dark Arts.

Skimming the shelves, he searched for any books about humanoid magical creatures, but he couldn't find much. Hmm...

This may be a job for a late night and the invisibility cloak.

Well, that's it for today! Next week I'll try not to be late, but, for future notice, I am now prepping for my exams and my social life is dying. So if it's not on Monday, it'll be updated Tuesday. After May 14 I'll be back to definite Mondays.
