As Louella walked into the next room, the cold didn't bother her, nor did it bother the platinum blonde woman she met. This was Glacia. Glacia and Louella looked almost exactly alike.

"You're kinda like my twin sister I never had!" Louella exclaimed.

"I was thinking the same thing." Glacia replied. "What is your name?"

"Louella." Louella replied.

"Nice to meet you, Louella. I am Glacia of the Elite Four. I traveled from my home region of Kanto to Hoenn so I could hone my Pokémon's Ice-type moves… but sadly, all I've encountered so far is weak Trainers and their Pokémon."

"That's tough, isn't it, Glacia?" Louella asked.

"It is, Louella." Glacia replied. "I myself wonder what one who has come this far will show me, I would be most relieved to have a serious battle against a strong opponent for once in my life… please be that Trainer that gives me what I desire!"

"I am." Louella replied. "You'll see…"

That brought a smile to Glacia's face. "I hope…" She sent out her first Pokémon, a Glalie.

"Alexander, you're up!" Louella called. Alexander ran onto the field and turned into his Pokémon form.

"Azelf, the Legendary Pokémon!" Glacia was stunned. "I'm guessing these lovely ladies next to you are Uxie and Mesprit?"

"That's right!" Louella replied. "They've been with me since I was an infant. Now, Alexander, Flamethrower!"

Alexander shot a blast of fire at Glalie. It struck the Face Pokémon and defeated it.

Eventually, the rest of Glacia's Pokémon were taken down with the help of Ulyana, Meddella and Diana.

Glacia pulled Louella into a hug. "Thanks, Louella."

Louella hugged Glacia back, awed that she was being treated like a sister to the Elite Four member.

"The last member of the Elite Four is no pushover." Glacia warned. "His name is Drake, and he uses Dragon types. Your Diancie would be very useful. Drake is going to test you to see if you and your Legendary friends are truly ready to face the Champion. Don't be intimidated by him or else you'll have lost the battle before it even begins."

Louella and Glacia shook hands before Louella, Diana and the Lake Trio went to battle Drake.

Glacia was right. As Drake battled Louella, he tested her to see if she was truly prepared to face the Champion.

At some point, Sapphire was sent out and he turned into his Primal Form, causing a heavy rain so Drake's Salamence would have hard time getting the water off. This was Louella's chance to deal serious damage.

Salamence was defeated by Sapphire's Ice Beam. Kingdra was sent out. Louella commanded Sapphire to use Ice Beam again, but this time, Drake was prepared and he had Kingdra dodge before using Dragon Breath. The attack hit Sapphire and he started to go on a rampage.

"Pozhaluysta, u vas yest', chtoby uspokoit'sya. Vy skhodite s uma, i ya khochu , chtoby pomoch' vam . Ne sdavaytes', poka ona ne zakonchitsya!" Louella pleaded in her native tongue.

"What did she say?" Diana asked. "Ulyana, translation!"

"She said "Please, you have to calm down. You're going mad and I want to help you. Don't give up till it's over." Ulyana replied.

"That's the language of the Alpha Aqua Tribe, isn't it?" Diana asked.

"Yes," Meddella replied. "Louella is one of the few remaining members, several others being her parents and sister Maemi."

"I'm shocked!" Diana exclaimed.

"Louella has kept that a secret until recently." Meddella spoke up.

Sapphire calmed down, but Louella decided to give the Legendary Pokémon a rest. After a long while, Louella won the battle. Drake used Max Revives and Max Elixirs on Louella's Pokémon.

"Now, Louella." Drake began. "The Champion is far stronger than I. Remember to think on your feet, or else you'll lose. Now go on."

Louella smiled before heading to the Champion's room with Diana and the Lake Trio. When they got there, Louella got the shock of her lifetime.

"Steven?! You're the Hoenn Champion?!"
