Rein's POV
"Okay, so everything's ready," Milky said as she carried the picnic basket. "You made sure to ask him right, Alice?"
"Yes, he said that we'll all should just met up at the lake. Are you sure that this plan is going to work though?" Alice asked unsure if she should go with what's happening. "I don't even know if he likes me, and I selfishly asked you three to help me and-"
"That's enough," Fine said interrupting her. "We're helping you because we want to."
"And, it'll help us with our love lives," I said. "We, both still haven't been close to confessing, so it's a good experience. Now, just stay calm and make sure that you get your feelings out to him, okay? After all that's the most important part, right now."
She smile and nodded. "Okay. I'll do my best... I guess." Fine and I watched them as they walked int the direction of the lake. Girls in love really are interesting, but why is it that we're always too nervous to confess our feelings? Well it doesn't really matter, since I guess boys like Noche have problems confessing too. I wonder if he ever confessed to that girl he liked...
"Rein, I'll go keep Shade busy, so make sure you don't get distracted by Bright," Fine said knowing that I would do that.
"I'll be careful, don't worry. You got that candy from the Headmistress right?"
"Of course. She even gave me all the flavors that she had," Fine said as she pulled out a bunch of colorfully wrapped candies."Though I think she wanted me to borrow a hammer again."
"As expected of the Headmistress, she never changes. Well. I'll head over to the lake now. I'll tell you how it goes later,"I said, starting to run. I have to find a place where they won't see me. Let's see, this tree is good. I can hide behind it. Ah, they're here! I ducked behind the tree.
"So there's a place like this here. Wow, what doesn't this school have?" The boy with really dark hair and his eyes were a pale blue just like Alice's. "I swear there's nothing that this school doesn't have."
"Well, I'm glad you like this place, Spade. I come here once in a while to relax and draw," Alice said as she stared out at the lake.
"Really? No wonder your drawings are good. Meanwhile I'm failing art."
"It's because you draw really random things instead of what's assigned," she said bluntly, smiling sweetly. "Anyways shall we start on the picnic that Milky gave us?"
"Sure." They just started eating all of the sweets as they talked about random things. He held up a box of truffles and she happily took one. Alice looks really happy, she's practically shining and so does Spade. These two go together well, as expected of two people who've known each other for a long time.
"Ah, that was good. Milky's really good at baking. It reminds me of the tea parties that we went to with our parents. After we finished eating all the sweets, we played until we got tired. Those days were fun. Like the time we played in the Mad Hatter's shop. You kept tripping over all the hats that were on the ground."
"Ne, Spade. Are we always going to be just friends and not like a real couple?" What's she saying? A lead in to say that she likes him... I see!
"Eh? What do you mean by that? Our marriage was decided before we were born by our parents. We don't even like each other." He just had to say that, are you serious? "Oh, shot, I promised someone that I'd help them with something. I got to go. Thanks for inviting me." Then he quickly turned to leave.
"But that's... not true." He stopped and turned. Why do I feel like I'm watching a drama? Hm... "Because I really, really like you. Not as a friend or as an arranged fiancee. I like you as a girl." She said it! Seriously am I in a drama?
He hugged her from behind. "Thanks. " They stayed like that for a while. Then he finally stood up. "We should do this again, since we're now in a mutual like, more than friends relationship." I think I can see her blushing. "By the way, that hairstyle looks really good on you." Oh, now she's redder. Well, it's not like that's a bad thing. It's still really cold outside. Wait, that's not the point.
As soon as he left I ran towards her. "Confession was a success! Good for you Alice, you found out that he likes you too."
"Yeah... Thank you so much Rein! Please give my thanks to Fine, Milky, and Narlo too. I owe you all one. If you need help with anything, as long as it's in my ability I'll help in whatever way I can," she said, picking up the basket.
"Okay, but I don't think that necessary. Milky and Narlo don't have to worry about Shade following them anymore. As for me and Fine, we now have a little more knowlegde about confessing to a boy that we like, so it's okay," I said to her.
"Okay... but ask me anything if you need help," Alice said, smiling. "And I'll do my best to help."
"Got it. Now, let's go find out where Fine is so we can tell her."
Fine's POV
Well, I manged to get Shade asleep. Though, I'm amazed that he ate 6 pieces of the stuff before he slept. Wait, how powerful is this stuff, anyways? I'm getting scared that he might be knock out for days now. If this is the same candy that was used to knock Rein and I out last time, then the effect of each candy should be a couple of hours...right?
"At worst, he'll just be sleeping for a day or two, you don't need to worry too much." Headmistress. She kneel down in front of us making sure that no part of her black dress was touching the ground. As she moved a piece of his hair away, she said, "Through, it is a shame. I wanted to talk to him about something."
"About what?"
She looked at my confused face then stood. "It's not that important. By the way, Fine. Please be considerate of all advice that you're given." Advice? Does she mean the advice I got from that fortune telling? How would she even know about that? Then again, she knows a lot of stuff that I wish she didn't know. But still... why did that person give me advice like that? It's not like I'm not trusting others.
"Fine, here's some spicy candy. It'll help wake someone up. Watch." She handed me a small bag. Then opened one of the glittering candies and put one in Shade's mouth.
Within seconds he immediately woke up. "What is in my mouth?"
"Spicy candy, don't worry it has no poison," Headmistress said with a thumbs up. "Fine here's some more of that candy, just in case," she said dropping more of the glittering candies in my lap. Then she ran off , that was... interesting.
"What happened to me while I was sleeping?"
"You don't want to know." I noticed Rein and Alice coming, stood and ran towards them. It's okay, I'm not the person I used to be anymore, so it'll definitely be okay.
Say what you mean and what you feel, say it loud for everyone to hear, and don't regret it. They're your feelings after all!
