Chapter Twenty-One

Jax sat at the park bench, Tara beside him, both of their eyes focused on their son Tommy ran around with friends he's mad on the playground. This was how Jax and Tara did their switch off, so that he was able to spend time with his son. Jax was excited, he was going to take Tommy and Lux up to the cabin Opie had in the woods.

He wanted Tommy to finally meet her, and now that the bruises from her face and body were faded enough, he knew Tommy wouldn't be too scared to meet her. Of course Jax wasn't about to let Tara know, she would just be against it. After Tommy was done, Jax gathered him in his arms, before picking him up, and placing him on his hips.

"Have him home before 8pm on Sunday," Tara ordered as she passed over a backpack filled with Tommy's clothes

"I will," Jax sighed softly "We're just going for a little camping trip, it's gonna be fine. I'll call if anything happens, you don't have to worry."

Tara rolled her eyes "I'm his mother, I'm always gonna be worried"

Tara stepped forward and kissed her sons cheek before saying goodbye and walking towards her car. Jax walked towards his truck and strapped Tommy into his car seat before getting behind the wheel and heading towards Lux's. He was already packed and ready to leave for the night, just knew she still had to get ready. After a late night helping Gemma with the books at Cara Cara, he was hoping he wasn't gonna walk in and see her still sleeping.

Just before pulling in her driveway, his phone began to ring within his vest pocket, he pulled it out quickly and looked down to see Chib's burner number across the screen. He quickly answered, bringing the phone to his ear.

"Yeah?"

"Jackson, we got news on your guy. Charter down in Arizona said they've heard of him, apparently he's tying to set up shop in town,"

Jax felt heat run through his veins "Where?"

"Phoenix"

"Tell the guys down there I want them to keep an eye on him. I wanna make sure before we make any moves on this."

"Sure thing, brother. Whatever you say."

Without a word, the gentleman hung up before Jax's pulled up to his girlfriends home and parked the car. Looking towards the back of the car, he saw his soon fast asleep in his car seat. From the drive and running around at the park, it wasn't surprising that the kid was worn out. He chuckled softly to himself before getting up and moving out of the car, before getting Tommy carefully out of his seat, making sure not to wake him.

When he walked into the trailer and looked around to see a suitcase already sitting in the foyer, the sound of dishes clanking coming from the kitchen. He walked towards the couch and gently set Tommy down, before pulling a blanket over his son's chest. He ran his hand over his beard before walking towards the other side and into the kitchen. He smiled as he saw Lux standing at the sink, yellow rubber gloves covering her hands, dressed in nothing but shorts and a SAMCRO tank top that hugged her body tightly.

"Are you just gonna stand there all day, or are you gonna come and say hi?" Lux spoke without even looking over her shoulder towards Jax. She heard him come in only a few moments ago, but felt him the moment he pulled into the driveway. It was like her body just knew when he was near.

Jax chuckled softly to himself before pushing off the archway and towards the his girl. The moment she was close enough he wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her tightly against him. She moaned softly as his lips kissed along her exposed neck slowly, moving down along her shoulder. He smiled slightly against her skin as he caught a scent of her soap. Always smelling of Rose and Caramel, the smell alone made him hard.

Lux bit her lip as she felt him, "Better behave yourself, your son is only a few feet away."

"And asleep," He whispered softly in her ear, nipping at it slightly.

Taking off the gloves, she threw them over the back of the sink faucet, before turning around to face him and kiss him deeply. His hands moving down towards her ass and pressing her tighter against him, causing her to moan against his lips. The kiss was heated and passionate; it always was between them. Lux slowly pulled away from him, her breath heavy and hard, her green eyes looking up towards him.

He reached down and caressed her cheek, his thumb pressing against the small scar that formed on the high point of her cheekbone. He turned his head slightly and bent down to kiss it. Lux's hands moved under his shirt and moved against his skin.

"You excited for this weekend?" He whispered softly, his blue eyes looking down towards her, making her heart skip a beat.

"And nervous...what if her doesn't like me?" She bit her lip nervously

"He's gonna love you. I already showed him a picture of you, so he knows what you look like already and what your name is." Jax reached down and grabbed her hand "Everything is gonna go perfectly. Don't worry."

Before either of them could say another word, Jax felt his phone buzz again. Reaching into his back pocket, he flipped it open and saw that it was a photo of someone he'd never seen before. But something was telling him it was the man he'd been looking for.

Jax's eyes moved from Lux, and back to the phone. "You know who this man is, sweetheart?"

Lux took the phone from his hands and took a look at the photo, her eyes widening slightly before handing the phone back to him.

"That's Micheal." She whispered softly and stepped out of Jax's arms. "N-Now that you found him, what are you gonna do?"

"We'll figure that out after the weekend," He grabs her waist and pulls her back to him "Now, are you sure he's the only one to have beef with you?"

She nodded her head quickly without a second thought. "I'm sure." Jax nodded he head before bending down to kiss her lips softly again.

"Daddy?"

The small voice pulled the couple apart and Lux looked to see a small child standing in the doorway into her kitchen. She was shocked at just how much Tommy looked like Jax. There was no denying that was his son, he had the same blonde hair and blue eyes.

"Hey, buddy," Lux looked to see his eyes brighten more and a smile spread across his face. He stepped towards his son and bent down to his level "You sleep ok?" Tommy nodded his head and reached his hand up to rub his eyes. Pulling his hand down, Tommy looked around his father towards the lady standing behind him. She smiled warmly towards him and gave a small wave.

"Daddy...?" Jax looked back towards Lux and stood up, after placing his son in his arms. Lux crossed her chest to hide the fact she wasn't wearing a bra.

"Remember the lady daddy was telling you about?" Tommy nodded his head "This Lux, she's gonna come with us to the cabin,"

Tommy turned and hide his face into his fathers neck, too shy to say hi. Lux bit her lip and looked towards Jax's. He sighed softly and rubbed his son's back, knowing it was gonna take time, after bending down to press his lips to Lux's forehead before turning back towards the living room. She sighed deeply and ran her hand through her hair before moving out of the kitchen. Jackson turned on the TV for his son and grabbed a snack from the backpack Tara packed and gave him some. Before turning and following Lux back into bedroom area of the trailer.

"He's shy, baby." Jax spoke as he watched Lux walk around her room and pull on clothes for the drive.

"I know," She sighs softly and turns towards him, after slipping on a bralette and walked towards him "Just want everything to be perfect, for us. He's an important part of you, and I want him to like me."

"He's gonna love you," Jax moved towards her, moving his hand to her hip and turning to press her against the wall beside the door frame "Just like I love you," She smiled at his words.

"And I love you," She grabbed the lapels of his kutte and pulled him close and down to kiss him deeply, his tongue winning dominance against her quickly. "You're gonna have to be tame this weekend, you know?" Lux whispered softly against his lips.

"That's ok, we'll just have our fun when he's sleeping," He smirked down towards "Cause trust me baby, I'm taking you in that hot tub"

Lux bit her lip and moaned softly, "Can't wait"

AN: I'm sorry for the late update. This semester has been a hard one, cause it was my last, and then went on vacation last week. So, been super super busy lately. Hope you enjoyed the update, having a few sweet moments before the heat gets turned up.
