It had been a whole semester since the trio moved to the big apple and they couldn't love it more. Yeah they have had some arguments, Finn's underwear on the floor and Kurt's constant need to put something back in its place when either Rachel or Finn needing it but the little family would never change a thing.

It's weird thinking that only 18 months ago Rachel and Finn never really knew each other, only exchanging in polite conversations on the way into Room 7E. That year changed everything. The subtle thoughts and looks that both Rachel and Finn felt for one another and never thought the other felt the same. He was the teacher and she was the student. It shouldn't happen but it did and it worked, it was a match made in glee heaven. The looks turning into them both realizing what they felt for one another to THAT kiss. Their first kiss in that classroom. The secrets, the lies, the sneaking around to Finn's apartment and Brittany and Santana finding out, the first time, to Quinn's little crush, the jealousy, the betrayal, the finding out, twice, the forgiveness and throughout it all, the LOVE!

"Baby, what are you thinking about?" Finn said coming over to his soon to be 'fiancé' sitting down beside her on the bed. Their bed.

"Just everything, this whole year. You and I." Rachel replied looking up at him lovingly.

"Any regrets Miss Berry?" He questioned wholeheartedly.

"None at all Mr Hudson!" Rachel replied leaning over and pressing her lips to his. He still made her feel like that love sick little girl 18 months ago who was crushing on her teacher. "I love you"

"I love you too"

"Oh guys not again, how come every time everyone's together you two are hidden away in a bedroom?" Kurt smiled

Six Months earlier...

At the Berry household, Kurt and Rachel's New York send off.

"Raaaaaachh!" Kurt screamed running up to his best friend. "I can't believe it! Tomorrow, you, me and Finn New York!" He screamed laughing as he saw Mercedes almost passed out on the couch.

"And you my fashionista will also have the biggest headache ever tomorrow" Rachel smiled not had as much as Kurt. "I'm gonna go find Finn" she said before running off.

"Adios Amigos" Kurt waved, Santana coming up behind him and clapping his shoulder

"Very good Hummel, Muy buena Hummel"

Rachel reached her old bedroom turning the handle to find her boyfriend looking at her musical posters still dotted around her room.

"So-" Finn said as she walked up to him leaning her hands together over his shoulder and resting her self against him. "-these not coming then?"

"No, I decided against them. I do have some Barbara with us though" she winked. He leaned down bringing her lips to his in a blissful kiss pulling his bottom lip with her teeth. "I can't wait!"

"Neither can I baby" Finn smiled leading Rachel to sit down at the end of her old bed. "This is the beginning"

"I love you"

"I love you too" Moments and moments of little kisses shared and young Kurt bursts through the door.

"There you are Finchel!" He giggled "I've been looking evvvvverywhere for you!" he exaggerated.

The rest of that evening Rachel and Finn thanked everyone for coming as Kurt had finally passed out somewhere, Santana even teared up then shouted at everyone for it. Quinn cried pulling Rachel in a tight hug as well as all the friends and family before leaving... very hung-over.

"Come on guys" Kurt repeated one last time grabbing Rachel's hand in his own "This is all for you remember Fanny Brice!" he smiled.

"Kurt, like I said before i've not got the part yet" Rachel smiled as the trio walked back into the huge loft living room space filled with everyone! And when I say everyone I mean everyone.

There was: Rachel's dads, Carole, Burt, Blaine, Santana, Brittany, Quinn, Tina, Mercedes, Sam, Heather, the glee club, Mr Schuester for Finn, his wife Emma, Some of Rachel's NYADA friends and Isabelle (Kurt's intern) as well as both families. The place had never had so many people but Rachel couldnt be happier that everyone had come to New York to surprise her.

"Rachel, darling you look beautiful!" Carole said coming over with Finn's aunt Jean.

"Aww thank you Carole" she smiled taking both women's hands.

"Rachel, sweetie I cant wait to see you on that stage, little Finny has been telling me all about this" Jean said looking over at an embarrassed Finn.

"Has he really?" Rachel smiled looking over at her big embarrassed boyfriend. "I really do hope I get it! I really want you to come" she said.

"Oh Rachel you will" Carole finished as Finn's loud coughing brought everyone out of their conversations.

"Thanks guys" he started "Erm, yeah, I just wanted to say something." he said wiping his sweaty hands on his jeans.

"As you guys know, that beautiful woman over there" he said pointing to Rachel "Is going to be the next big thing. But that isnt the only reason that I wanted you all here today." Finn said coughing as Rachel looked into his deep hazel eyes from her place next to his mom.

"Rachel, Rachel Berry, you are everything to me. Last year, ok yeah we had a little... struggle but we both knew deep inside how we felt for one another and i'm so glad that we didn't hide our feelings for one another and that we didn't give up. Even when we probably should. But look at us now here in New York, a family." he said finally walking up to her.

"Rach. I love you so much. I cant ever imagine loosing you. And I don't want to. I know that we, well you maybe young but I know that this is it. This is all could ever want and tons more!" Finn now took Rachel's hand in his.

"So Rachel Berry, will you spend the rest of your life with me and marry me?"

Finn finally felt every pair of eyes on him and Rachel in the room but all he could see was her.

"Finn" Rachel cried. Pulling herself closer to him. "Yes, Of course I will marry you!" and with that the pair crashed together for a scorching kiss. Everyone else disappeared as their kisses got deeper until the sound of applause broke them from their gaze.

"IM GETTING MARRIED!" Rachel screamed as everyone came over surrounding her to see the delicate ring on her fourth finger.

"I love you Finn Hudson"

"And I love you Rachel Berry"
