Chapter 21: Three?
That Saturday morning Elliot woke up finding the spot next to him empty. He set up to see the bathroom door close. He got out of bed and walked over to the door and knock before entering the bathroom. He saw Olivia with her head in the toilet empting the contents of her stomach. Elliot wet a wash cloth, and walked over to Olivia to hold her hair. When she was done he put the cool wet cloth on her forehead.
Olivia attempted to smile but failed, "Thanks," Olivia said leaning into Elliot.
Elliot nodded, "How long have you been up sick Liv?" Elliot asked.
"Couple of hours now," Olivia said groaning as she started to empty her stomach again.
Elliot held her hair back as she finished, "Liv you should've woke me up." Elliot said putting the wet cloth on her forehead again.
"El its fine," Olivia said standing up to brush her teeth.
Elliot stood up also, "Olivia let me take care of you. I want to be there for you, even if that's just holding your hair while you're puking." Elliot said walking over to Olivia wrapping his arm around her, "I love you Liv and I'm so happy that I was able to give you a baby, something that you wanted for years now," Elliot said kissing her.
Olivia moans into the kiss before pulling away, "Elliot you have given so much more, you are making all my dreams come true." Olivia said before kissing Elliot. Olivia pulled away suddenly running back to the toilet empting her stomach once again. Elliot was right behind her holding her hair and rubbing her back. When she was finished they made their way back to bed to get a couple more hours of sleep in before having to get up.
Later that day Elliot walked into the bar looking around before spotting the person he was looking for. He walked over to the person, "Hey Jo." Elliot said as he sat next to her letting the bartender know that he wanted a beer.
"Elliot, how are you?" Jo sat taking a sip of her drink.
"I'm doing pretty good considering everything that's going on right now." Elliot said before drinking half of his beer.
Jo nodded, "Yeah I heard about Kathy and her lies." Jo said simply, sitting back in her seat looking at Elliot.
Elliot sighed, "Jo I'm sorry for not believing you back then, if I had listen to you I wouldn't be going through this right now." Elliot said as the bartender gave him another beer taking his empty bottle.
"Elliot you were in love, you didn't want to believe that she would do such a thing and if you had split then you wouldn't have the twins now. Plus sometimes we go through things for a reason. How is Maureen dealing with all of this anyways?" Jo asked.
Elliot looked down at his beer, "She's doing ok with everything. She wishes she knew who her biological father is." Elliot said shaking his head, "I wish I can help her, but Kathy has no clue who this guy is, what he looks like nothing. Because of Kathy, Maureen will never have answers to her questions."
Jo set a comforting hand on Elliot's shoulder, "I hate that you guys have to go through this Elliot, but everything will work out." Jo said getting the bartender attention to get her another martini. "So how are you and Olivia doing?" Jo asked. For the first time that night she saw a smile on his face.
"Great, I love her so much Jo. I thought I knew what love was, what it felt like, but when I met Olivia I really learn what love feels like and means." Elliot said smiling as he thought about the love of his life.
Jo smiled at Elliot, "I'm happy for you Elliot, you two make a great couple." Jo said smiling at Elliot.
"So what happen to Kevin?" Elliot said as drunk some more of his beer.
Jo smile faded, "He left, I found out that I had breast cancer that resulted in me having a double mastectomy. He couldn't touch me without thinking about it." Jo said taking a sip of her drink.
"I'm so sorry Jo, I know how much you loved him," Elliot said sympathetically.
"Yeah well like I said things happen for a reason." Jo said as she looked at the time, "I should head out I have court bright and early in the morning." Jo said standing up, "See you later Elliot, and tell Olivia I said hi." Jo said before leaving.
Elliot finished his beer before leaving himself. When he got home Olivia was already sleep. He strip down to his boxers and got in bed wrapping an arm around Olivia feeling her snuggle into him as he fell asleep.

Monday afternoon Olivia and Elliot were sitting in the waiting room waiting to be seen by the doctor. Today they were going to see their baby.
Olivia sat in her chair squirming, having a full bladder while pregnant was very uncomfortable. She had to use the restroom so badly, but in order for the doctor to do the ultrasound her bladder had to be full. "What time is it?" Olivia asked moving in her seat again trying her best to hold it.
Elliot couldn't help but laugh at her this was the fifth time she asked in five minutes, "Liv its eleven o'clock." Elliot said rubbing her back. He knew how uncomfortable it was for her. "Liv just hang on just think about seeing our baby." Elliot said.
Olivia was about to get up and ask when she'll be seen when a nurse came out and called her back. Elliot and Olivia followed the nurse back to the room where the nurse gave Olivia a gown to put before leaving out letting them know that Doctor would be in soon.
Elliot looked around the room, "Man I haven't been in one of these rooms in years." Elliot said before as the doctor walked in.
"Hello, my name is Doctor Mark Ragus. How are you doing Ms. Benson?" The doctor said introducing himself.
"Please call me Olivia and I'm doing well besides the morning sickness and a full bladder." Olivia said smiling at the doctor.
The doctor chuckled, "You'll forget all about the full bladder when you see the baby in a few minutes, but first I want to examine you before doing the ultrasound." The doctor said washing his hands.
Olivia groaned, she hated doing these examines they were so uncomfortable. As she lay back, Elliot grabbed her hand and gave it a squeeze knowing that most women hated this part.
After the examination the doctor raise Olivia's gown, "This will be cold," He warns as he squirted the gel on Olivia's stomach. The doctor pressed the probe on Olivia's stomach and started to move it around to find the heart beat. "And there is your baby," The doctor said as a fluttering blob appeared on the screen.
Olivia eye's filled with tears as she saw her baby, it was all starting to feel very real now, she was going to have a baby, and she was finally going to me a mommy.
Elliot also had tears in his eyes as he watched the screen where their baby was, he kissed Olivia's hand that he was holding never taking his eyes off the screen. "Is the baby ok?" Elliot asked
The doctor nodded, "It all looks good, it looks like you're about eight weeks," The doctor said as he continued to move the probe, "And, it looks like you're going to be having triplet's," The doctor said.
Olivia's eyes widen, "Triplets… are you sure?" Olivia asked in shock.
The doctor nodded, "Yup there are three heart beats." Mark said pointing out the three different heart beats. "It looks like you have a set of identical twins and a single baby."
Elliot had a big smile on his face as he continued to look at the screen, "But their ok right?"
"Yeah, their great, now Ms. Benson I want you to be taking it easy ok, limit the amount of stress you have, it would help greatly in your pregnancy. Now if you have any discomfort or bleeding come in." The doctor said.
Olivia nodded, "I will thank you so much Doc. Ragus." Olivia said still looking at the screen.
"Call me Mark, I'll go print off some photos, and schedule you for your next appointment." The doctor said leaving the room to allow Olivia to change back into her clothes.
After changing Elliot wrapped his arms around Olivia's waist, "We're having triplets." Elliot said excited still smiling from ear to ear.
Olivia laughed at Elliot's excitement, "Yes we are, and I love them already." Olivia said setting a hand on her stomach where she can feel a very small bump. Finally after years of wanting a child she was going to have not just one but three. And she was having them with the love of her life, at the moment she was happy, she was in pure bliss.
