Lucy huffed as she packed up her last box, placing it on top of her other one. She stood up straight and moaned as she cracked her back, looking around her now empty dorm that used to be so packed. She smiled sadly at all the memories she had held here—from the first time Levy and her had found out they were dorm-mate to having Natsu over. She would never forget the precious times here but now she had to leave this place for new ones to come and make memories.
Now, she had to wait a couple of months till she gets a new dorm while she starts her life with Natsu with the house they bought weeks ago.
The blonde blushed as she realized she'll be moving into their new house and living there for a good 4 months. With Natsu!
It'll be like we're married.
"Stop spacing out and come give me a hug, Lu-Chan!"
"E—eh?!" Lucy shouted in surprise as she turned around. She looked to see Levy standing there with her arms open wide. "Give me a hug! It's not all the time when we separate!" The blue-haired college student pouted making Lucy smile and laugh softly. The two best friends ran towards each other as they embraced.
"Lu-Chan... I had so much fun with you this year!"
"I did too! Don't forget to visit me, alright?!"
"I won't~! You do the same!" The two girls wailed as they held onto each other tightly, wondering when they'll see each other again.
After all, it was the first day of summer and everyone is going away.
Natsu sighed as he put down the last box down in the middle of the living room, huffing in annoyance. Finally, he had finished unloading everything into their new home. It was worse since Lucy had loads of boxes and she didn't help him the slightest.
Now there he was, standing in their new home with his fiancé on the couch fast asleep.
At least he didn't have to move the furniture too.
Natsu looked around the place as he realized he had more things to do. Lucy had to bring her things from her old apartment down to the house; he needed his old things from his apartment, and the two needed to unpack everything. That was going to at least take a few hours, maybe days if they keep this laziness up.
The rosy-college student sighed as he plopped himself down on a chair he got from his dorm, staring at his sleeping fiancé.
She sure did look peaceful and harmless when she looked like that.
He continued to stare at her until he got up, deciding he should at least unpack the plates and utensils so they could eat dinner tomorrow after they buy some food. He grabbed his jacket he has brought along and placed it on top of her just in case she didn't catch a cold. Afterwards he grabbed the box that was labeled, Kitchen and made his way into the kitchen.
Natsu put the box down and ripped it open with a pair of scissors, taking out the glass and plastic plates and utensils. He placed the cups and bowls into the cabinets while he placed the utensils into the drawers.
He continued to do this until he felt something wrap around his waists, his thoughts guessing it was Lucy.
"Awake so soon? I was just putting the—ow, ow, ow! WHAT THE FUCK!"
"You little pussy! You're growing soft, salamander!"
"What are you doing in my house, asswipe?! How the fuck did you get in?!" Natsu shouted as he grabbed Gajeel's face and shoved him away, groaning in pain. He stood up straight and cracked his back, hissing at the grinning male in front of him. "I thought I would pay a fucker a visit today."
"So you break in my house?! I saw you like 2 hours ago!"
"Not my fault, it's Levy. She wanted to see bunny-girl again,"
"That huuurts! Kyaah!"
"Show her whose boss, shrimp!" Gajeel cheered as they heard Lucy's distant cries, Natsu staring at him in disbelief.
Natsu sighed as he took in a deep breath, clenching his fist in anger. He raised his head and shot Gajeel a glare, holding his fist up. "Did you two idiots just come to hurt us?!"
"Pretty much."
"GET OUT OF MY HOUSE!"

"Aw... Levy-Chan, I think you broke my spine or something..."
"Don't worry, Lu-Chan! I didn't!" The blue-haired woman laughed as she smacked Lucy's back repeatedly making the woman groan out in pain. Natsu noticed and pulled Lucy away as he glared, the couple smiling at the two as if they were planning on something horrible.
Natsu clicked his tongue in disapproval as he looked away. "What do you guys want? We're unpacking and we really have nothing to do here so I suggest you two just leave."
"Oh, you're so cold-hearted, Natsu!"
"Yeah, we came to play with you two, gihee." Gajeel smirked making a chill run down Lucy's back, the blonde scooting even closer towards her fiancé who raised a brow at her. "W—we can't play because we're too b—busy unpacking and—"
"Oh Lu-Chan, don't worry about that! Anyways, we already invited everyone to come on over to have a dinner party tonight, haha!"
Natsu and Lucy both froze in their spot as they stared at the grinning and smirking couple, wondering if their devils in disguise.
Who in the hell were they befriending for the past couple of years?
Natsu was about to snap and shoot up in his seat but Lucy beat him to it, the male almost falling out of his seat. He gulped as he felt the dark aura coming from his blonde partner, slowly making his way down the couch end.
"Fine, if you two think it's hilarious that you caught us by surprise, we'll waver." Lucy said with a smirk making Levy gulped and Gajeel snorting in response. "You two will help us unpack and get ready for the dinner party tonight and if any of you try to sneak away I will make sure you regret walking away from me."
"What's the waver?"
"Battle of the couples."
"What?" The three adults spat out in surprise, a wide grin decorating Lucy's face. "Battle of the couples!"
"Luce, are you saying we're having some kind of war with them?" Natsu stood up as he pointed at the sitting couple, Lucy nodding in determination. She stepped forward and grabbed his hands, looking at him with wide eyes. "I need you to corporate with me, Natsu. We're going to beat those devils!"
"We can hear you, y'know!"
Natsu stared at Lucy wide-eyed as he realized Lucy was asking him to fight with someone. And to top it all off, it was Gajeel and Levy! The two pranksters and the weirdoes fighting it off makes it sound weird but sounded extremely fun.
After a moment of silence, a smirk dominated Natsu's handsome face. "You bet I'll help!"
"Alright! Are you two in it too? Or are you two scared we might win?" Lucy asked as she smiled devilishly. The two pranksters gapped at her as they both shot up in their seats, pointing at the engaged couple.
"We'll make sure you never said that, Lu-Chan!"
"We're gon' wipe the floor with your asses!"
While the ladies cooked and prepared dinner for the dinner party, the males were setting up things and cooking the burgers.
Lucy thought it was a bad idea sending the two males out to cook with fire and food outside on the deck, but she was certain Natsu would stop before anything bad could happen
After all, they just bought and started living in the house that was worth 15,000 dollars.
"Levy-Chan... who did you even invite to this 'dinner party'?"
"Oh, well, there's Erza and Jellal, Gray and Juvia, and I tried inviting Lisanna and Laxus but they never really called me back afterwards. So, it's probably just going to be the eight of us." Levy shrugged as she dumped a whole bowl of lettuce in another bowl that was filled with vegetables. Lucy stared at her childhood best friend and pursed her lips, wanting to throw the cold pasta she had just cooked, at her.
She was sure that the house was going to be a mess right after the party and someone will probably sleepover. The two just moved in too!
Lucy was so ready for this battle of the couples. Natsu and she were going to win and make sure Levy and Gajeel don't prank them more than they already do.
The blonde sighed and grabbed a plate of fresh raw burgers to allow Natsu to grill, walking out to be greeted with insults being thrown back and forth between the two grown up males.
She slowly put down the plate right next to her fiancé to listen to what they were arguing about; rolling her eyes when she noticed it was about the cheese Natsu was using.
"The cheese is fucking American cheese. It's not from America; it's just called American cheese!"
"Hah! Stop trying to fuck me up—that's like saying Swiss cheese isn't from Sweden!"
"It's not!"
"You two are the most stupidest boys I've ever encountered," Lucy pursed her lips, planting her hands on her hips. "And I'm marrying one of them."
"Hey—!"
"Blame your stupid hubby here. His brain must be the size of a peanut," Gajeel grunted as he pointed at Natsu who glared at him, about to throw a fresh cooked burger at him but Lucy stopped him.
"Gajeel, go inside and help Levy! I'll deal with cooking this with this idiot for a while,"
"Tch, whatever." The male spun around and walked back inside the house making Lucy turn to Natsu and shoot him a glare. "Stop fighting and trying to throw food around! We need to hurry and finish this before everyone comes. Then we can finally kick them out afterwards." Lucy clicked her tongue in disapproval as she leaned against the table side of the grill. Natsu's lips curled up into an amused smile as he looked at Lucy, the blonde looking at him weirdly.
"What?"
"You're cute when you're mad."
"You want me to become fucking gorgeous then?!"
"Geez, what got your panties in a bunch?" Natsu asked as he flipped some burgers and placed the fresh ones on a plate. He eyed Lucy who just sighed and frowned, slumping against her spot.
"I'm not sure either... I feel so moody these days."
"Is it time for your monthly gift?" He asked, closing the top and coming to stand in front of her. He wrapped his strong arms around her waists and pulled her closer, smiling at her pouty face. "No, it's not. I'm not sure either—maybe it's because of the moving and stuff..."
"Yeah, don't worry about it much." Natsu said as he leaned down to plant a soft kiss on the side of her face. He nuzzled his face against her neck afterwards and smiled as he felt her giggle a bit.
"Don't worry, Luce. Gajeel and Levy might have caught us off guard this time but we'll get them back soon. Hard."
"Oh yeah, of course. Because if we lose, I'm making sure to take it all out on you."
"That's good because—wait, what?!" Lucy smiled sweetly as she gave Natsu's shoulder a pat, the rosy-haired male gapping at the woman in front of him. "Why?!"
"Because, you live with me and you're the only person always with me."
"I think I'm going on a vacation tomorrow." Natsu laughed nervously making Lucy laugh a bit. She got on her toes and gave Natsu a soft kiss, pulling away from him. "Guess I'll have to spend the week with Lisanna then!"
"No way! You're mine!" Natsu growled protectively making her laugh again. Lucy grabbed his arm and grinned, pulling him towards the double doors. "Come on, everyone's here."
"How do you know?"
"I heard Erza's voice inside." Lucy said as she opened the doors to be greeted by her female friends along with the males. Natsu's eyes widen as he realized she was right. He had better hearing than her but he didn't hear their voices—what was happening?
Natsu grinned as he greeted the guests that had just arrived, eyeing Lucy who was talking and squealing with Lisanna who had a tiny baby bump already visible on her stomach.
He was even more surprised when Lucy said she craved something spicy, wondering why a woman who never liked spicy food to be craving that.
Maybe he was worrying too much but either way, he was going to keep a good eye on her.
