While everyone else was fighting their respective enemy, all of them suddenly spotted Loki shooting his magic at Saji. That made the Red Dragon Empress cry out, "Saji!"

"Issei-senpai!" Koneko shouted to her. She turned to see one of the wolf children lung at her before the white-haired loli punched him out of her way and kicked him down. When she did that, she let out her cat tail and cat ears before landing right in front of her senior.

"Koneko-chan?"

Hearing that she was probably confused on why she let her true form out like she did, she waved her tail around and told her, "I will accept this power and master it. I won't be afraid of who I am and what my power is anymore." She then ran to the wolf child, grabbed him by the nose, and spun him around. "As long as you and everyone else support me..." She then threw him up. "I will not be afraid!" She raised her palm up to release small light-blue orbs to attack him with.

She felt happy that she thought that, jumping up to create an arrow with a fist-like arrowhead to defeat the wolf child with. "You can count on all of us to give you the support you need, Koneko-chan!" She then shot it and knocked him right across a small hill of rock, destroying it and leaving him on the ground. She landed in front of her, the two exchanging smiles.

Suddenly, they both heard rubble crashing down, so they looked to see that Akeno dodged one of the Midgard Serpent's attacks. They both saw her release both her devil wing...and her fallen angel wing, proclaiming without hesitation, "I am the daughter of Himejima Shuri and Baraqiel! I am also Rias Gremory's Queen, Himejima Akeno!"

Everyone was surprised to see her like this, especially Issei. "Akeno-san..." she murmured, thinking that like Koneko, she was beginning to accept herself as well. She was proud of her for that.

She had summoned her lightning and combined two different ones to attack the large serpent with, defeating it. Rossweisse and Irina had also defeated one of the other wolf children while Yuuto and Xenovia were still fighting against Fenrir and Issei and Koneko were still fighting one of his children. Loki seemed to be only mildly impressed and annoyed at the same time before the Valkyrie herself tried to convince him to stop. He didn't, from the looks of it, and she began to attack him. As he was blocking the shots she made to him, he was stopped when a glowing line grabbed his wrist. Everyone was shocked to see that Saji was still standing and using his Sacred Gear against Loki.

"Saji!" Issei exclaimed. "I thought you..."

He chuckled a little. "Honestly, that was nothing! I'd do anything for my President's dream!"

She snickered and released Ascalon as the white-haired Nekomata kicked the wolf child at the face again. "Glad to see how loyal we both are to our masters!" She then stabbed him and tucked the sword away, the child falling down in death and defeat. Feeling proud of finally defeating him, she saw that Saji began to transform just a little, now having black and yellow armored boots with magenta orbs on them as well as matching gloves.

"Azazel-sensei tweaked it just a little," he told Loki before his eye turned dragon-like, being all dark-red with a black iris and a yellow pupil. "All of the Vritra-type Sacred Gears have been implanted in me!" The line then emitted dark-purple flames, reaching all the way up to the Norse God's wrist.

"These are Vritra's dark flames..." he muttered to himself.

"Even a God like you can't easily escape the curse of Vritra!"

Sona crossed her arms and looked confident, the wind blowing as she smiled and said, "It's best not to underestimate such an ambitious devil, evil God Loki."

Under her mask, Issei smiled and added, "We never let our guard down around that teacher of ours, after all!" Feeling a boost of confidence, she exclaimed, "Alright!" She used her magical energy to repair her damaged wing before creating another arrow and pointing it at the God. "Here I come, Loki!"

The Norse God clicked his tongue, being encapsulated in flames. "Clever devil and dragon!" He used his power to release the line's grip from his wrist. He was then emitting blue energy before it spread across the air and created blue lightning. A sudden strong wind gust appeared and seemed to blow Saji away.

"Lord Loki! You can't do this!" Rossweisse yelled at him, covering her eyes from the dust the gust was throwing around. "If you do this, then not only the Underworld will be affected, but also the other mythological worlds!"

"It will only speed up the coming of Ragnarok!" he yelled back at her. Now there were chunks of ice raining down on everyone.

Rias was alone and trying to protect herself. Thankfully, Issei was near and she went to her to be her shield. "President!" she exclaimed before doing that.

"This was my goal from the very beginning..." Loki continued.

The red-haired female glared daggers at him. "What is he planning to do?"

Hiding behind a large rock, the Valkyrie answered, "He plans to release his godly powers and destroy this space!"

Issei was very shocked to hear that. "Wait, WHAT?!" She then looked at Yuuto, who was trying to shield himself from the hailstorm. However, one chunk of ice hit him, his forehead bleeding and him screaming. She gasped, feeling absolutely terrified as she shouted, "YUUTO-KUN!"

Xenovia looked back to see him hurt and shouted, "KIBA!" She then grabbed him before Fenrir could get to him. She looked at the Red Dragon Empress and yelled, "Don't worry, Issei! I got him! I won't let him get any more hurt!" She only nodded at her, hoping that he'll be alright.

The two Knights hid behind a rock, out of the large wolf's sight, as Loki went on, "To have you all be eaten by my children at the forthcoming of Ragnarok is a fitting end for weaklings like you." He then stretched his arms out in the air and summoned three magic circles, shooting out a blue beam into the sky. This then led to several beams crashing hard into the ground.

Xenovia and Yuuto screamed, not faring well dodging this attack as she tried to get them to a safer place, though it led to them screaming more. Unfortunately, their screams were drowned out by the blasts. Issei continued working as a shield for Rias, though the beams were painful as all hell to her. "Issei!" the crimson-haired woman exclaimed.

"DAMN IIIIIT!" the female pervert screamed out in pain.

Akeno had Koneko next to her as she summoned a magic circle to shield them both from the blasts. Rossweisse and Irina did the same with their respective magic circles as well as Tsubaki for Sona. However, Saji, once again, got blown back from the blasts, making Sona exclaim, "SAJI!"

The array of beams ended and left large clouds of dust. "As a reward for your efforts, I will be the one to give you all the honors of being the first to die from Ragnarok," Loki said confidently. "You can thank me later."

Irina saw her friend knocked out with her clothes torn on one rock, her exclaiming, "XENOVIA!"

Issei also saw her boyfriend knocked out with his clothes torn on another, her also exclaiming, "YUUTO-KUN!" Under her helmet, she gritted her teeth and clenched her fists. "I don't even care you're a God or not..." She then pointed at him angrily. "YOU ARE GONNA FUCKING PAY!"

Rias had found her anger understandable due to Yuuto's condition, so she summoned a magic circle and dug into the pocket of her skirt to get out the pouch of Phoenix's Tears. "We'll take care of this, Sona," she said, communicating to her friend via the magic circle. "Please use this." She then threw it to the magic circle, the girl with glasses getting it. The two red female then flew up and gave Loki sharp glares. He only smirked at them, waiting to see what they'll do.

On the ground, Saji was revived with a Phoenix's Tear as well as Xenovia, both revived by Sona. Tsubaki used a Phoenix's Tear to revive Yuuto. He regained consciousness and saw her with the bottle. He frowned and sat up, saying, "I'm so sorry, Vice-President."

She capped the potion and put it back into the pouch. "It was a direct order from my President," she replied to him.

He stood up and looked up at his girlfriend in the sky, shooting her arrows at Loki. He was glad that she was alright after an attack like that, but hoped that she will stay alright. He then looked at what was happening at ground level and looked serious. "The battlefield is getting way too chaotic." She stood up right next to him as he suggested, "Let's fight together for now."

She nodded as the two looked at each other. "That's a good idea."

He smiled at her. "It's nice to have the Sitri Household's Queen at my side at a time like this." Hearing that actually made her heart...skip a beat. She looked away from him, blushing and feeling flustered all of a sudden. Why was she feeling this way? It wasn't like she was immune to his charming demeanor before, but he was taken...why...

No, she'll have to put that aside. She looked forward with a serious face and said, "Let's go, Kiba-kun."

Issei shot a specialized beam arrow at Loki, now Rossweisse joining her and Rias. "Stupid girl," the God said as he blocked her arrow with his magic circle. Rias could feel her palm sweating as she just realized that all of the Phoenix's Tears were used. We'll just have to think carefully of what to do next, she thought. Because if we take that attack again, we won't be able to survive.

One of Rossweisse's hair pins was glowing as she was listening into it. Her eyes widened a little as she replied, "Okay, I understand." She then cut her communication as she looked at the sky and announced, "We've made it in time!"

A large blue magic circle appeared in the sky, catching Issei's eye as she shouted, "Wait, what's that?!" A blue beam then came out of the middle of it, revealing a large gray and blue hammer.

"It's the hammer of Thor, the God of Thunder! It is the absolute hammer that brings divine punishment with one swing!"

Loki's pupils shrunk at the sight of it and muttered, "Mjolnir?!"

The silver-haired female listened into her hair pin again and nodded. "Yes, sir." She then looked at the two girls. "It's a message from Lord Odin! If the Red Dragon Empress is there, then leave it to her!"

Issei was surprised to hear that, pointing at herself. "Wait, ME?"

Loki gritted his teeth and charged at the hammer, yelling, "Odin, you bastard!" But then...the glowing line that stopped him before grabbed his ankle, stopping and surprising him. Everyone in the air looked down to see that Saji was fine now, determined to not let him go. Issei was proud of him.

"Issei," Rias said to her.

She nodded and replied, "Yes, President!" She then flew towards the hammer, about to grab it. "Here I come, Mjol-" Suddenly...Fenrir appeared and grabbed her with his teeth, getting her away from the hammer. She screamed in pain as everyone looked completely aghast at what just happened, especially Yuuto and Rias.

"ISSEI-CHAN!" the blonde-haired male yelled from the top of his lungs.

"ISSEI!" the red-haired female yelled at the same time as him.

Fenrir landed on the ground and threw out. Out of rage, Yuuto appeared before him and used his Sword Birth to get him back. Xenovia and Irina, now working together, fended him off. He turned back with watery eyes and yelled, "ISSEI!" He then used his speed to get to her.

While she was thrown in the air, she was severely bleeding out of her armor. It disappeared, showing her with shrunken pupils and widened eyes. Her large wounds were on her chest, her stomach, and one of her legs. She also had some blood coming out of her mouth. She crashed against a rocky wall and was about to fall on a rock before her boyfriend caught her at the nick of time. They landed on the ground at the same time Mjolnir did, scraping against the rocky wall before stopping on a rock.

"Issei-chan! Hang in there, please!" Yuuto's eyes were close to releasing tears.

She looked up at him with one eye open and muttered, "I-I'm...sorry...Yuuto-kun..."

He sniffled and said, "D-don't speak! You'll hurt yourself more!" Just then, Rias flew down and crouched down to her, looking absolutely horrified by her injuries.

"No..." she muttered, covering her mouth.

Issei then looked at her and said in her weakened voice, "President...I failed...at the...most important moment...again..."

Now her eyes began to water. "Issei..."

The brown-haired girl's hand was on the wound on her stomach as she said, "Please...you two...need to get out of here..."

As everyone else began to fight the other creatures in rage, Yuuto began to cry and shouted, "No! I can't leave you! I can't let you die!" He then turned to his master with tears streaming down his cheeks. "President! Do we have any more Phoenix's Tears?!" Just seeing him like this made her feel worse, but hearing his despaired voice...nothing could describe how forlorn she felt. She looked down solemnly, letting a tear out and feeling ashamed of herself. "PRESIDENT!"

Issei felt awful to see her boyfriend like this, especially since they made an important promise to each other: to protect one another and make sure neither dies. Wanting to make him feel just a little better, she slowly raised up her clean, shaky hand and held it up to cup Yuuto's cheek, rubbing his tears away. He gasped a little and looked down at her. She managed to muster a smile and whispered, "I love you...Yuuto-kun..." And just like that, her hand dropped from his cheek, landing on the ground as she then became limp and unconscious...

Dead.

Yuuto was stiff, feeling like he broke into a million pieces. His loving girlfriend, the girl that he loved most...died...right in his arms. He never thought this would happen to him except in nightmares...but...it was really happening. It was just like when he was escaping the Excalibur Project, leaving his peers to die. But their spirits remained with him...Issei, on the other hand...no, she couldn't be dead. She can't be dead.

Rias was also stiff, gasping and feeling beyond despaired about her Pawn, her friend...her "sister", dead. It didn't help that Yuuto will definitely not react well to her death. It just...it made her feel...like she failed as their master...

Everyone else looked absolutely appalled by Issei's death. "There's no way..." Akeno muttered.

"Issei-senpai..." Koneko also muttered. Now her rage skyrocketed at Fenrir as she turned to him and used her Nekomata powers to attack him. Everyone else began to attack the creatures a lot more vigorously.

Akeno looked down to see Yuuto shaking his girlfriend's body while Rias looked beyond ashamed of herself. She frowned and flew herself down a good distance from them.

"Issei-chan, please..." he said in a sobby voice as he continued to shake her. "You can't be dead...just wake up!" She was still limp and unconscious, making him feel even more worse. "ISSEI-CHAN! PLEASE WAKE UP! YOU CAN'T LEAVE ME LIKE THIS!" Rias's fists was clenched hard, her knuckles turning white as she let out some more tears, hearing him yell like this.

The raven-haired woman looked absolutely awful for the both of them, muttering, "Yuuto-kun...Rias..." Her eyes watered as she then muttered, "Issei-chan..." Losing her was like...losing her mother. She lost the females that were important to her...

She saw the rest of the peerage attack Fenrir, still trapped in Yuuto's Sword Birth, in nothing but pure anger. "I WILL NEVER FORGIVE YOU FOR KILLING HER, YOU BASTARD!" Xenovia yelled as she slashed at him.

"I WON'T FORGIVE YOU EITHER FOR KILLING MY FRIEND!" Irina also yelled, throwing her Holy Light circle to him.

Koneko had used her powers to attack him with as well. Akeno used her lightning to finish the job, crying as she was just as mad as everyone else.

Rossweisse looked very sorrowful to see this happen, saying in a solemn voice, "Only the Red Dragon Empress is strong enough to wield Mjolnir...this could only mean that this space will collapse before Lord Odin's arrival. What should we do...?"

Saji fell on his knees in despair over her death. "Hyoudou...there's no way she's..." Loki used a magic circle to cancel out his line, launching him back a little.

"Ragnarok will begin soon enough," he stated with a determined smile as he looked back at everyone else fighting in rage. "Perish in the twilight of the end." He then glowed blue and he gave off vibrations in the sky.

Yuuto was now sobbing and holding Issei close, still not over the fact that she died. He could feel a deep-seated rage come up to him...it was the same rage he had when Project Excalibur came up again. He thought he would never feel this again since he was at peace after the incident. But Issei was dead...he couldn't believe she was really dead. He didn't want to become an avenger again...that brought him nothing but depressing solitude and painful memories. But at the same time...Loki needed to pay.

Rias began to feel the deep-seated rage inside of her rise as well. She had failed as a master...as a friend...as a "sister". But Loki's nonchalance as he wants to bring Ragnarok to every area of mythos, starting here, it pissed her off. Him making light of this situation for his own benefit pissed her off to no end, especially since her precious Pawn died.

He stopped sobbing and carefully laid his dead girlfriend on the ground. As he did so though, Rias stood up and said, "Yuuto." He only looked up at her as he began to stand up as well. "Let's give it our all." He nodded, looking both serious and angry as he summoned a sword and looked at Loki angrily. When he did that, Rias released a lot of red energy, surprising him a little before she placed her hand on his shoulder. "Stay calm. I'll try to not overwhelm you with this energy." He nodded before they both looked up at the Norse God. She then remembered what she read in one power book...

"'If one's demonic power comes in a large number and is destructive, there is one trick they can perform on an ally,'" she read to herself, looking interested in what the trick was. "'When a large amount of it is released by the user, they can touch an ally in any way and give them a surge of demonic power that can last for about an hour. However, too much demonic power can either overwhelm another and render them unconscious or make them explode. If one wants to use this trick on an ally, they need to keep their own power in control before transferring their power to another.'"

She adjusted her reading glasses and said to herself, "Huh, so it's like Issei's Boosted Gear in a way." She then placed a finger on her chin. "If Issei is not near or if she can't battle, I could use this. But I'll need to be careful about it. I don't want any of my precious servants to die by too much power..."

She remembered practicing this on a dummy since she would never practice something on a live person before succeeding the day before the party. She hoped that doing this to Yuuto would be worth it because he was just as furious as she was about Issei's death. "Evil God Loki, how dare your child do this to my Pawn, my Knight's beloved." The energy became stronger, crushing the rocks around them and Yuuto suddenly feeling a surge of power come up.

"You have done many unforgivable things, but killing Issei-chan, my Issei-chan, is your final break." He then summoned another sword on his other hand.

"So even if the world is destroyed...even if I die..."

"Even if my last drop of blood vaporizes..."

They then yelled in-sync, "WE WILL NEVER FORGIVE YOU!"

Loki only looked down at them in amusement, smirking as he thought to himself, I cannot deny that they have a strong and passionate anger. This is an odd team-up though: the little sister of the Demon Lord, Sirzechs Lucifer, and her sword-wielding servant. They seem to care a lot about the Red Dragon Empress, do they?

With Fenrir unable to battle at the moment, the peerage saw Rias and Yuuto in the large burst of her demonic power, Akeno looking scared and muttering, "Rias...Yuuto-kun...no..."

"Rias, don't do this!" Sona yelled, covering her eyes from the light emitted by the energy. "He will suffer the consequences too!" She ran to the energy, but couldn't get through, making her feel scared about what will happen next.

While the blonde-haired guy continued feeling the large surge of power running through his veins, he looked back at his dead girlfriend with a sad smile on his face. "Issei-chan...I'm sorry..." he whispered. "I need to avenge you, but...I just wanted to say that...I love you too." He then looked away, him and Rias about to fight Loki now.

However, neither of them noticed that she was glowing purple all of a sudden...and that there was a stain on the side of her skirt. Her wounds suddenly began to heal themselves, regenerating and looking like normal skin.

And then suddenly...her eyes shot open and she gasped hard.

The first thing she saw was the large, overflowing amount of crimson demonic power around her. That sight not only shocked her, but also made her feel scared. She sat up and saw Rias and Yuuto next to each other. Then it hit her...she was alive. She was really alive...but how?

She felt something wet on the side of her thigh, so she looked down to see a stain on the side of her skirt and something broken in her hidden pocket. She pulled it out and saw the broken bottle of Phoenix's Tears Ravel gave her at the party. She gasped, completely forgetting that she had it in the first place. If it hadn't been on her...

"Here we come, Loki!" shouted both Rias and Yuuto, about to attack the Norse God.

That made the female pervert yell out, "YUUTO-KUN! PRESIDENT! DON'T!"

Yeah, I'm gonna stop here. What do you guys think of this chapter? Any mistakes or typos in this one?

So I did change Koneko's reason why she got into her Nekomata form a little. However, I kept Tsubaki's small feelings for Yuuto (with her dropping it at the moment 'cause of battle) and Issei "dying" before coming back to life (just to show Yuuto's reaction to it as well as Rias's...poor them though). Hope you guys don't mind those changes here!
