This chapter might be a little short. I just want to bring in Anna, bring in a little info about some of the things that are going on in later chapters.Chapter 20
Gabe played with Sam's hair as Sam laid on his side, flipping to the next page of the book that he was reading. Sam had woken up not that long ago and had decided he didn't want to move for a while. His body was a bit sore and he was still trying to wake himself up completely before giving in and allowing Gabe to give him a massage. Another flip of the page, and the book closed, and Sam moved onto his stomach. Gabe smiled, moving to sit up a bit, pressing his hands into Sam's shoulder, rubbing in slow, deep circles. Sam gave a deep moan, earning more rubbing down his back, focusing on all the sore spots, soothing them. Sam fell asleep half way through the massage and Gabe slowly got to his feet, throwing some clothes on and heading down to the kitchen. Cas was down in the kitchen, eating his breakfast with a small pout on his face. Dean was nowhere in the room, so he was guessing that was the reason for Cas' cute, adorable pout.
Cas had been in heat for a few days, before his body settled completely, and Gabe had noticed that Dean and his little brother were inseparable. Cas looked almost terrified at the thought of being away from Dean. He smiled softly, coming over to sit beside Cas, after getting food for himself. "How are you feeling little brother?" Cas gave him a small nod.
"I am feeling good. What about you? How are you and Sam?" Cas asked, concerned. Gabe had confided in him about Sam not going into heat, and Cas had just told him to be patient as he could but he understood. Sometimes wolves didn't hit heat, it all depended on the situation and how the wolf was feeling. He could understood Gabe's worry of sam not being happy enough to mate. Gabe gave a short nod, focusing on his food.
"He hasn't gone into heat, I don't think he will but...I'm hopefully. I'm happy for you and Dean. To have pups is wonderful..."
"Thank you...I'm sure he will go into it. Just give him time. Dean told me Sam lived among humans, and threw away most of his wolf habits. This might just be a side effect of that. Just give him some more time, maybe once he sees my pups when they are born, his body will jump start to have some. It does sometimes in packs, where the alphas will have to bear pups first." Cas gave a reassuring smile, as he finished up his food. Gabe picked at his, his mood having dropped as the back door opened and Dean walked in, talking with Bobby. Cas' head shot up, and he moved over to Dean, cuddling against him. Dean nuzzled him softly, talking softly to him. Asking how he felt, and if he needed to be lying down. Cas giggled, blushing and kissing Dean slowly and softly. Gabe gave a sad smile, mates that were this close was cute and wonderful, Sam was afraid to give in like that. They have sex but the emotional cuddling and absolute desire to make each other happy. Sam was holding that back, and he wished he understood why.
There was a sharp tap on the door, and Dean moved towards it opening. It didn't have more than 5 seconds before Cas rushed through, hugging whoever stood in the door. Cas caught the scent and smiled moving to the door himself. His younger sister, a year older than Cas stood with her arms tight around her little brother, a happy smile on her face. They hadn't seen her since their father had left. She had been put into a mental institute by Michael for challenging him. She had blood red hair, and bright green eyes.
"Hey Anna." Gabe smiled, moving forward to hug her after she slid out of Cas' arms. He hadn't been very close to her, sometimes but her and Cas were very close before she had been sent away. "How did you get out?" He remembered having gone to seen her, trying to convince the workers to let her out, but they had sent him away. She smirks, before stepping back.
"I may have snuck out. They got lax around me and I took the chance...I tracked you two down and well here I am. So...can I come in? Introduce me a little bit maybe." Cas smiled and turned to Dean who looked utterly confused. "This is my mate Dean, and this is his pack. Gabe's mate is upstairs still. Do you have a place to stay?" Dean nodded to her, and gave her a small smile. She smiled back, coming in.
"Oh yeah...I've got a place for now. I've just been...well...do you know about Allistar...he chased me after I got loose but I managed to loose him and well from what I heard he wandered into another pack area and he was killed. Good for me but this was more than I expected to happen after I got loose. Any news on the rest of our family?" She walks over to the couch and sits down, Cas sits down beside her and Dean and Gabe lean against the arms of the couch. Dean nods.
"Good riddance, now if we can get rid of his mate before she causes any more trouble." Lilith was still alive and Dean hadn't forgiven her for what she had done, and he wanted her dead. Anna didn't know who she was but she nodded anyways and leaned into Cas as Gabe talked.
"Michael is still Michael, Balthazar left and who knows where he went. Uriel well he um died in a fight with another pack and a few others have as well. I don't know much about anyone else, since I left." Gabe sighs softly and Anna looks at him, shaking her head.
"I'm not surprised. Do you know what today is Gabriel? It's the day Lucifer is let out of jail." She says matter of factly. Cas' eyes widen, he had only ever heard bad things about Lucifer and Gabe straightens. Luce had been framed by Michael for murdering an innocent man, Luce had tried to help Michael when it happened and Michael had put him in jail. Framing him with some help and that had been the start of Gabe's hatred for his older brother. Luce wasn't a bad guy, he had that attitude and look that made him seem that way. Gabe had been very close to him, most of his life, Castiel had never even gotten to know him.
"It will be good to see him. Does he plan revenge on Michael for what happened?"
"As far as I know, yes but I don't know much other than that. I expect it to happen. Michael deserves it in all honesty but Luce would have to have a pack to stand behind him before he can confront Michael. Allistar's pack would be a good option. Luce is mostly to go for the one in need of help, the one with misfits and those willing enough to have anyone for their pack leader. Michael is likely to go after him." Anna finished and Gabe nodded, before going upstairs to check on Sam. Anna left shortly after, going to meet up with Balthazar in order to go be there when Luce got out. Dean and Cas stayed downstairs watching TV with a few of the other pack members, cas resting his hands softly on his stomach. Gabe laid with Sam who was still fast asleep, his thoughts continued to wander to Luce and some of things Sam and him had talked about before Sam had went back to sleep. They had come to an understanding about the pups, Sam wasn't ready and he had explained it to Gabe and it was helpful to at least know why Sam hadn't gone into heat. Sighing he rolled onto his back and closed his eyes.
