Malta's sleep was filled with nightmares. She twisted and turned constantly, and she even yelped and muttered in her sleep.

"No! Stop it!" Malta whimpered out loud right in Prussia's ear, causing him to snap awake.

"Malta?" Prussia whispered.

Malta didn't hear him, "Go away!"

"Malta, wake up!" Prussia shook Malta's shoulders violently.

"Stop!" Malta's whimpers grew panicked.

Prussia tried slapping Malta in the face; her head just lolled to the side.

"Malta, wake up. You're starting to scare me," Prussia bit his lip.

Malta moaned, "Stop..."

Prussia punched Malta in the arm.

"...Please..." Malta gasped in her sleep. She groped around for something, but soon dropped her arm.

"Malta, wake up," Prussia bit the island nation in her shoulder. She squeaked and snapped open her eyes.

"Why... What... Prussia?" Malta panted.

Prussia sat Malta up, "I'm here, Malta. You're okay."

"I'm awake now, right?" Malta hugged Prussia.

Prussia hugged back, "You are awake."

"Good," Malta drew in ragged breaths.

Prussia glanced around to see if anyone else had woken up, but no one had, "Malta?"

"Yes?" Malta played with Prussia's shirt like a three-year-old, which scared Prussia since she was not much of your "play-with-your-shirt" person.

"What happened in your dream?" Prussia asked.

Malta hesitated, "Well, the 2p!s had gotten into the basement and were killing everyone."

"And?" Prussia prompted.

"Everyone died except Romano and I- Romano was still alive in the dream. Then he said he had to go and do something, but I tried to stop him. He didn't listen, though, and 2p!Malta k-killed him," Malta broke down crying.

"Like in the forest?" Prussia rubbed Malta's back.

Malta shivered, "Yes. Like in the forest."

"Don't think about it anymore," Prussia kissed Malta's cheek, "it was just a dream."

"Romano wasn't just a dream. He died," Malta snapped.

"I don't mean that part. I mean the rest of us. The 2p!s won't break in," Prussia kissed Malta again. Malta ducked her head down so that Prussia's lips were in her hair, "Prussia, if the 2p!s come, then please hide."

"You'd have to hide too," Prussia closed his eyes.

"Maybe, but you can't fight well. That gives you a reason to hide," Malta ran her fingers along the edges of Prussia's ears.

Suddenly, someone flicked on the lights. Malta almost screamed, but Prussia put his hand over her mouth. The person who turned on the lights was only Japan.

The other four nations were sitting up and stretching, but Japan didn't give them any time to wake up further.

"Germany and Italy are missing. The door to the basement is open," Japan panted.

Malta shook, "Do you think...?"

"It must be. And she probably got back ups," Japan replied.

"They probably got in through the window in Romano's room. It's lock has never worked. Do you have your sword?" Malta slipped out of bed.

Japan grabbed the hilt of his sword, "Here."

"Good. Andorra, Russia, Wales, come on. Yugoslavia, keep hidden in here with Prussia," Malta instructed.

"Should I send out a warning?" Yugoslavia stood up.

Malta shook her head, "No, but I would text a few of them, so at least one person in each room can keep watch."

"Okay," Yugoslavia pulled out her phone.

Prussia grabbed Malta's hand as she was heading out the door, "Stay here, Malta."

"No, my 2p! took Italy. We can't have two Italians dead. We have to stop her and the others," Malta shook him off and left. Prussia watched her shut the door.

"So..." Yugoslavia trailed off.

Prussia yawned, "Maybe we should follow them."

"No, Malta said not to. I think I can trust her on that," Yugoslavia looked at all the bandages that were still wrapped around Prussia's wounds.

"Fine," Prussia pouted.

They sat in silence for a moment; then Yugoslavia grabbed he deck of cards, "ERS?"

"How do you play?" Prussia sat down on the ground across from Yugoslavia.

"I will show you," Yugoslavia dealt the cards and began to show him all the rules and tactics. They played it for a long time.

SMACK! Prussia brought his hand down on the cards and mouthed "sandwich" before shaking his hand, which was bright red from slapping the card deck so many times.

Yugoslavia was about to say something in response, but some voices arose from the hall, and she closed her mouth.

"Which ones will we get first?" A first voice hissed. Prussia detected it as 2p!Hungary.

Another 2p! chuckled, "Maybe we should finish off the ones in the room 2p!Malta and 2p!Andorra ransacked."

"No," another voice joined in, "we should get that room across from it."

Yugoslavia's eyes widened, so Prussia figured it was her 2p!

"Or we can get the next room down," a fourth 2p! chimed in.

"They might come in here," Prussia mouthed. Yugoslavia nodded.

"Let's just split," Yugoslavia's 2p! decided.

"We have to get the weapons now. I think Malta hid some grenades under the bed. We can use those," Yugoslavia whispered.

Prussia nodded and stuck his hand under the bed he and Malta had slept in. He pulled it out with four small grenades in hand. He tossed two to Yugoslavia, "Here."

"Thank you," Yugoslavia caught the grenades.

Click! The door handle turned ever so slightly, and someone began to slowly ease the door open.

Prussia backed against one wall.

"Is anyone even in here? The light is on," 2p!Hugary poked her head in the room.

"Duck!" Prussia yelled and chucked the grenade at 2p!Hungary's feet.

Yugoslavia and Prussia immediately hid behind the beds and covered their heads when the grenade exploded. Pieces of debris rained down on both of them, and when Prussia lifted his head, little was left of 2p!Hungary.

"We have to get out now," Yugoslavia ran past the remnants of the 2p! and headed toward the basement entrance.

Prussia followed as best as he could. He still hadn't healed very much and was quite slow. Yugoslavia pulled him up the steps and set off the alarm. Sirens wailed throughout the hide out.

"I guess the government didn't do much to help," Prussia coughed.

Yugoslavia corrected him, "They did. Andorra kept in touch with her government, and most of the 2p!s have already been killed. Only a few are left."

"Oh," Prussia put his hand on a wall to steady himself.

Yugoslavia stopped, "We have to get upstairs where everyone else is. Try to make it up there."

"I am," Prussia straightened himself again, and the two of them hurried to the stairs. They found Malta and Japan in the stairwell with Italy.

"Some 2p!s a came and took a Germany and I. They a dumped me here and took Germany somewhere else. I was scared and lonely, but I stayed and a waited for someone to a come!" The Italian was explaining.

Prussia called up the stairs, "Hey, some of the 2p!s have infiltrated the basement."

"Prussia!" Malta turned back to him, surprised.

Prussia clambered up the stairs and collapsed in front of Malta, "I'm sorry for leaving."

"It's okay," Malta hugged him and pulled the Prussian up to the landing.

"Hello, Yugoslavia!" Italy waved.

Yugoslavia waved back, "Hello, Italy."

"Malta, we have to figure out how many 2p!s are left," Japan poked Malta.

Malta turned to him, "Okay. My 2p! and 2p!Andorra are around here somewhere. Andorra and Russia are looking for them. Prussia, who is in the basement?"

"We killed 2p!Hungary, but 2p!Yugoslavia-"

"SFR," Yugoslavia corrected him.

Prussia glared at her, "SFR and two others are still down there. Maybe some more too."

"We can handle that," Malta rose, "but we will have to let them come to us. Going to them might not work."

WHAM! WHAM! WHAM! Something slammed into the stairwell door with great force. Within moments, that something had beaten down the door, and that something looked a lot like Romano.

A/N: Hahahaha! 2p!s everywhere!
