Chapter 19

"He told you too, didn't he?" Addison asked Dean once they were alone. A little further away from them, Sam was staring at their father's body, getting ready to burn it.

For his Funeral.

A hunter's funeral.

Dean didn't say anything. He just stared at her. She grabbed his collar and shook him, "DIDN'T HE?!" She screamed.

Tears pooled up in his eyes. "Yeah..." He whispered. She looked at him angrily, "What did he say to you?!"

"We have to kill Sammy if he becomes evil... Like yellow eyes wanted..." Dean looked ready to cry. Addison stared at her older brother; then turned around, "I'm not going," She said, "I'm not going to kill my little brother. And I'm not going to watch you burn our father's body." She walked away.

"Addy?" Sam asked, concerned for his older sister.

"Bye Sam." She said, walking away with tears flowing out of her eyes. She got into her car - Bobby was able to bring it for her - and drove away.

Dean stared at his dad's body, the tears falling freely. Sam looked devastated. The last things I did was try to pick a fight...

The words echoed in his head. He fell to his knees and stayed like that until the fire went down. The guilt in those words and the feeling he got – it hurt him and weighed on him.

Dean on the other hand was replaying every memory of his dad: Before and after the fire. The differences, care and happiness… When Addison came along... The happiness when he saw Sam for the first time…

He remembered when his dad played in the garden with him. Then was the fire. The devastation. He remembered his father going on hunts and keeping himself constantly busy. Take care of Addy and Sammy... Those were the words and the order he was given.

He failed to take care of Addison. She was taken. And when they found her she was kicked out of her own home. She was stuck with a woman who could have abused her if Jacob Sanders wasn't there.

He could try again. And this time he'd do it right. He watched his little brother go down on his knees. He watched the fire die down. He felt his tears falling and hitting the soft sand underneath him.

The fire died down, and both boys walked away, leaving Bobby to finish up.

Later that night, Sam and Dean decided to hit the bar. Surprisingly enough, it was the same one Addison was in. They didn't know that yet.

It was at 10pm when they decided it best leave incase their sister was already at Bobby's. As they walked over to their car they heard voices, "I said leave me alone."

"No can do." One voice said. It sounded like a guy, "You're really pretty… I wonder…"

There were noises of struggle and a girl screaming for help. They looked at each other and ran into an alley where the voices were coming from.

"P-please…" The girl was whimpering now. "L-leave m-me a-alone." He grabbed her shirt and was lift it up leaving her in her bra.

She felt exposed. But not as exposed as I'm gonna be if someone doesn't help… She tried fighting back but the fear had just frozen her body in place.

"Please…" She whispered, still pleading.

"Hey, you! Let her go!" Addison recognized that voice from anywhere. Sam. So Dean must be there, too. But they can't see my face…

"You stay out of this!" The man shouted. She didn't even know him, but he was definitely drunk. She could smell the alcohol in his breath.

"'fraid we can't do that." Dean stated. "Now leave her alone!"

I have to let them know it's me… She took a deep breath and spoke, "S-Sam…D-De…I-it's m-me…" She was stammering and whimpering and tears were streaming down her face. She didn't want anyone to see her like this. But what could she do otherwise?

The Winchester boys realized who it was. "Addy?" Dean asked in disbelieve, only to see the crying girl nod. "You little son of a bitch!" Dean shouted, charging at the man. He punched him, "Sam, get Addison." He kept punching until the man became limp and bleeding before walking toward his younger siblings.

Addy, how the hell do you get into these messes?!
