:Hi everyone! Sorry I'm not updating like I usually would, this story is just really hard to write and ideas aren't flowing like I want them to because of the time line I'm trying to figure out. But I'm trying, I hope you like this chapter!:
Seto opened his eyes, his body under heavy cotton and his head rested on a thick cushion. He sat up slowly, his eyes closed once again as he lifted his body up from the royal blue blankets. He yawned and opened his eyes, looking around his room. It was simple and more normal than the Prince and Princess's room, but that was to be expected. The walls and necessary furniture were all a beautiful dark oak, while the floor and cushions were the royal blue he was sleeping under.
He turned his eyes to the silver alarm clock next to him, smiling when he realized it was only 5:30 in the morning, of course he would be up far before the actual alarm was supposed to go off. Seto always had risen early, he had forced himself to do so due to always making sure the day would go well for the royal siblings, after all it was his job. He loved his job, truly he did, for he was very close friends with them, but he somehow wished they would act more...fancy.
Seto lifted himself off the bed, now beginning to head to the side door that would lead him to a silver bathroom. It looked as normal as normal could get. And he didn't mind, he was the adviser, he didn't need anything fancy. He wasn't true royalty. He turned on the hot water to the bath, inhaling through his nose as the room filled with a relaxing steam. He exited the bathroom, removing his white pajamas as he walked, the last thing being his pajama bottoms as he reached the dresser. He folded them up nicely, being perfect with the angles and how it looked, no wrinkles. Seto sat them on top of the dresser, now moving his hand to a drawer and pulling it out, reaching in and grabbing his uniform.
He didn't mind the uniform, he liked it, but it was quite the hassle to place on. Seto knelt down, grabbing the uniform shoes that went with it before he stood back up and reached into a different drawer, retrieving the socks that went with it. He sat the clothes on the bed, laying them out neatly and looking to the bathroom, hearing the water as it ran into the tub. Seto took a deep breath, telling himself that he should relax that day. Someone was going to be chosen to go on their lunch, and as long as it wasn't him he could relax. After all, he still hadn't figured out what Joey's favorite dish was, he hadn't acquired the time yesterday to ask someone. He had been too worried about where Mana had gone, and that had set him off track. He shook his head.
Just relax, and take your bath already.

"Joey, what in blazes name are you doing up so early?!" Bakura grumbled, placing a pillow over his eyes as he laid face up on his bunk. Joey had woken up earlier than usual, and it pissed him off. Joey only woke up at six in the morning, and they had to rush to get to breakfast and to class usually. He was used to Yugi waking up this early, but not Joey.
"I need to study my lines!" Joey yelled, his back hunched over at the nearest desk as he scanned through a script, his body already clothed with the school uniform. Yesterday the director had said that everyone must have their lines learned by next Friday, and if they hadn't learned them, he would be kicked off the play crew. Sure, he memorized the song and the first act but he had the most trouble with the second act! It was this month for Christ's sake!
Joey let out a scream as he felt something cold hit the back of his neck. He turned around, ready to send a hellish glare the person's way, but instead saw Yugi smiling and holding a water bottle. He looked down, feeling heat rush to his cheeks, this kind of reminded him of when he and that royal were alone...He had placed a soda on his neck...He grabbed the bottle, ripping off the cap and taking a long drink, making his small friend laugh.
"Careful." Yugi warned, taking a seat on his bottom bunk as he took a bite of an apple he had in the palm of his hand. He swallowed quickly, letting out a smile at his friend. "Don't overwork yourself, you're not going to lose your place as Wahankh." He looked down at his uniform pant leg, noticing how there was a dot of juice on it, he brushed it off as he heard a loud thump come from the side of him.
Bakura landed down on the floor, stretching and walking to a closet. If those two were dressed, he might as well too. He opened the closet, furrowing his eyebrows together as he heard a crunching sound. He turned his head toward Yugi, who was watching Joey while chewing on an apple. Bakura blinked in shock.
"Where did you get an apple?" He asked, confused at Yugi having food out of the cafeteria area. Yugi smiled, swallowing before he winked at him.
"Secret." He sung out, chuckling as he took another bite. Bakura rolled his eyes, turning his attention back to the closet as Joey shot out of his seat and covered his eyes. He pointed in the direction of Yugi's bunk bed, which looked like he was pointing at the ladder. Yugi rose an eyebrow in question.
"Yugi!" Joey shouted, scaring Bakura as he tried to slip into his pants, forcing him to fall over and land on the floor with a groan. "Say Commander's part of Act 2: Line 10!" Yugi sighed, finishing off his apple and swallowing as he strutted over to a trashcan, throwing in the core. He took a deep breath.
"I see, I am happy for you." Yugi spoke, a smile on his face as his voice took a deeper tone and excited emotion. "I could only assume she said yes due to your happy smile." Joey kept his eyes covered, inhaling through his nose as he tried to remember the line he was supposed to say. Bakura grumbled as he straightened his tie, not really interested in the Drama practice the two boys were having.
"Yes! I am overjoyed!" Joey spoke, confident and the tone showing the emotion that was said, his voice was simply overflowing with happiness. "Surely the gods have blessed our love and..." He trailed off, thinking hard as he tried to remember the line. What was that next line?! It wasn't an important line, but he needed to know it! Bakura narrowed his eyes before he took a deep breath.
"Surely!" He bellowed out, his voice bland but loud and somewhat energetic. "The gods have blessed our love and wish us good fortune for the rest of our lives!" Yugi smiled awkwardly at this sudden outburst, and Joey removed his hand from his eyes and just stared at Bakura. How did he know the lines?!
"How do you know the lines?!"
"It's an easy sentence..."
"But how did you-?!"
"I practiced with Yugi before."
"What?! When?!"
"When you would be too busy playing with bitches..."
"Do not call my dogs that!"
"Guys..." Yugi let out an awkward laugh, holding out his hands to make them stop. Here they go again, fighting like always...It was true though, whenever Joey stayed after school to play with his animals, Bakura would help him with his Drama. The only thing Bakura wanted in return was to have help with his Mythology homework. Yugi looked to the clock in the room, sighing when he noticed the time. Anzu would be waiting for them at breakfast by now. He grabbed the two boy's arms, shocking them both as he began to drag them out the door.
"Come on you two numbskulls, It's time to go eat."
"I am not a numbskull!"
"What the frig is a numbskull?!"

Knock! Knock!
Seto opened his eyes, his face being shielded by a dark shadow over his head. A dark towel was over his head, drying his scalp. He lowered the towel onto his shoulders, his chest bare and his bottom half only covered by a separate towel that hung slightly off his hips. He knew it wouldn't fall though, he had practiced the technique to force it to stay put a long time ago. He exited the bathroom and walked past the dresser, not worried about answering the door without really any clothes on. The person wouldn't die from seeing a person half naked, that is, if the person was mature enough.
Seto walked to the door, opening it slowly and leaning on it with his hand on the knob. He rose an eyebrow, why was there a little girl at his door? The girl had long brown hair and hazel eyes, her clothes a dark brown and pants a tanned color with brown spots on it, as if she had been playing in dirt. Huh, the girl had a name tag...Ms. Wheeler...Wait, what? Wheeler, wasn't that Joey's last name? She glared at him, her eyes piercing his gaze with hate as she looked at him. Ra, this girl looked mean. But, at least she wasn't bothered with him not being dressed, perhaps she was mature despite the mean glares.
"Hello." She spoke harshly, venom leaking from her voice. Seto narrowed his eyes down at her, okay, perhaps not. A mature person would not spell out how much they dislike you in the first word spoken. He prayed this girl wasn't related to Joey, but she looked nothing like him so he didn't worry. But when he thought about it, Mana and Atemu didn't look exactly alike either...
"Mr. Kaiba." She spat out, disrupting his thoughts. "I am here to inform you that you will be having a lunch with Joey Wheeler in the cabin behind this dorm in the forest during fourth period." Seto's eyes almost widened, he was shocked, but he wasn't going to show it. That wasn't good, he hadn't turned in a menu, what if the cooks didn't make something Joey liked?! Here he is, the adviser of royalty and he didn't turn one in, but then again he had a reason. He couldn't figure it out, he hadn't had time too and...Well, that was about it.
"Now, although that is the end of my message." The girl walked forward, making Seto back up by instinct. She entered the room, slamming the door shut behind her as she approached the royal. "I have just one more thing to tell you." She hissed out, backing the royal into a chair nearby. Seto fell into it with a gasp, this girl was crazy! What did this person want?!
"Joey Wheeler just happens to be my brother." She whispered, her voice laced with menace. Seto wanted to groan, the one thing he didn't want. "So, if I find out you did anything with him, anything that can be counted as...flirting, or sexual assaulting, or touching, or pretty much anything like that. I will make sure you regret your decision, okay?" She finished, smiling a bitterly sweet smile. Seto bit the inside of his cheek, nodding at her statements. She let out a high pitched giggle and skipped to the door, opening it and slamming it shut as she let herself out of it.
Seto let out a breath he had been holding, his chest going up and down quickly. Dear Ra! That girl was terrifying! And she's related to Joey? Great, that's just great! How do you deal with an overprotective sister? Well, one thing he could do was not take her threat into stride...After all, he was the guest here, and he counted as a royal. She couldn't keep him away from her brother no matter what she did, he had a right. And also...Seto stood up, removing the towels from his body and walking to his dresser.
He wasn't going to simply waste a lunch meeting with Joey.
()()()()()()()()()()
"Why can't I remember this?!" Joey yelled to himself, pulling at his blonde hair as he sat at a dressing table with the script laid out in front of him. He stared down at the script, hating how he couldn't remember anything past act 1. He had studied the script during breakfast, which Yugi got mad at him for because he needed to eat, and then he got yelled at by Anzu even though she was acting weirder than usual! He tried to study while taking care of the animals, but they kept distracting them and Serenity had gotten mad at him! He had asked to study during his Karate class, but his instructor had only given him 30 minutes before telling him to get to practicing his kicks. He was thankful for when he came to Drama that they were mainly going to be practicing Yugi's scenes with the dad and the villagers. Finally, he could study his script in peace...
"Okay! Let's take in from when Khu enters with a happy grin, smiles Yugi!" A woman with a script in her hand yelled as she pointed at said boy with a smile. Her hair was a bright blond that traveled to her hips, her eyes a violet that complemented her appearance greatly, and on her body was a short sleeved white t-shirt and white sweat pants with tennis shoes. She narrowed her eyes and crossed her arms, taking in Yugi's hair. It was brushed down, but one spike was coming up and it was bothering her. She placed the script under her armpit and clapped her hands.
"Get a brush over here and brush his hair again!" She yelled, a girl replying with a loud 'Yes Ma'am.' as she rushed over to Yugi, who at the moment, was glaring at the woman.
"But Ms. Valentine!" Yugi yelled, beginning to cringe when the girl came over and began to brush his hair. "I don't need my hair brushed again!" He pouted at the teacher, her full name was Mai Valentine, a personal favorite amongst the students. She was one of the most popular due to her looks and attitude, everyone loved her...As long as they didn't know her when she was in a bad mood.
"Yes you do." She responded, taking the script back into her hand and placing a hand to her temple. Sometimes she wondered why she picked Yugi as the female lead, but then she remembered that he looked feminine and no other girl was willing to sing alone. Poor boy...Mai watched as Yugi turned his head to allow the girl more access, he closed his eyes to withstand more pain that was erupting from his scalp. She observed him, taking in his girlish features from faraway...Get him in a dress and put some makeup on his face, and Yugi will no longer look like a guy.
"Excuse me?" A voice called out, sending a small vibration toward Mai's ear. She turned around, gasping in surprise as she witnessed Seto walking up to her, one of the royals! She gaped in shock, bowing as she saw him, ignoring how the other students seemed to stop and stare. The only one that didn't seem to care was Yugi. The only thing going through his mind was 'Oh, look, it's the mean faced royal.'
"Y-Your highness!" She gasped out, finally standing straight up in an attempt to compose herself. Seto wanted to smile at that comment, your highness? He wasn't royalty, but compared to everyone else here? He probably was in their eyes.
"I have a request to make." He spoke, his face expressionless and his voice authoritative. Mai nodded quickly, agreeing to do any request he wanted. After all he was a guest royal, if she declined she didn't know what would happen.
Yugi watched from the back, the girls now just brushing it for the fun of it since the teacher wasn't paying attention to them. A request? He narrowed his eyes in thought, oh. That's right, the lunches are happening aren't they? He had forgotten about them for a moment, now that he thought about it...He hadn't seen Anzu the whole afternoon yesterday, and she had skipped lunch. Maybe that would also explain her weird attitude at breakfast, she looked more...happy than usual.
"I would like to borrow a student from your class, if you do not mind." Seto said, locking the teacher's eyes with his own. Mai flushed in embarrassment and looked around.
"B-But of course!" She breathed out, looking around for her classmates, who now were paying close attention. Mai had never had a royal borrow someone from her class, she felt honored! Seto looked around as well, searching for the boy that always appeared on his mind.
"I am looking for Joey, Joey Wheeler." He told her, crossing his arms as he moved his eyes around the area more. Where was he? Mai blinked in confusion, out of all her students, he wanted Joey? It made sense since he was chosen by the royal to watch the event race alone, but she had thought his attitude wouldn't please royalty. She nodded at him slowly.
"Joey, at the moment, is in the dressing room practicing his lines." Mai responded. "He wanted to have peace and quiet for some reason, that boy works too hard...Maybe it's my fault for pressuring him about the lines being learned..." She placed a hand to her face, sighing as she felt guilt course through her. She should tell him to forget that statement, but the lines had to be learned, the play was this month!
"Thank you." Seto thanked, walking past her and toward the area that lead out to the back. He stopped beside Yugi, who looked more girly than usual. His hair was brushed down, giving him a feminine look. He rose an eyebrow at the boy in question, before he remembered that Yugi sung the female part of the play. Yugi noticed the attention he was getting from the royal and turned his head, narrowing his eyes.
"Don't you have someone to kidnap?" Yugi asked, his voice both harsh and playful. Seto let out a small smile at that statement.
"Yes, I do."

Where in Ra's name was the dressing room? Seto thought to himself, wandering through the dark halls that were backstage. Dressing rooms are usually labeled as dressing rooms, right? He sighed, wondering about what time it was. He knew it was still 3rd period, but he wanted to spend as much time as he could with Joey. He stopped dead in his tracks near a door, feeling his face heat up. Seto...wanted to spend as much time as he could with him? He placed a hand on his face, sighing. Damn it, why did he have to like someone like him? An adorable blond who had a fierce attitude and a smart mouth, his personality was in a word, annoying, but it was so attractive and it fit his appearance! He really does act like a hyperactive puppy though...
"A battle of peace..." Seto blinked in confusion as the voice echoed through the door, he turned his head, surprised when he noticed it was cracked open. That song...He leaned toward the door, peaking in and seeing Joey, sitting in a chair in front of a dressing table, a script laid out in front of him. His eyes were closed and he looked stressed, but...
"A land of hope, a cry of desire, my heart of pain." Joey sang, his voice moving through the notes perfectly and his tone matching the emotion placed within the song, he wasn't perfect but it was still beautiful. Seto opened the door more, being quiet as he did so he wouldn't be noticed.
"How I long," He held on, his voice performing a smooth crescendo. " To have you in my arms. I need your soul, standing by my side, to help me throughout the fight..." Joey stopped, his eyes opening and revealing a saddened gaze in those honey orbs. "But I am at war...And you're across the sand." He finished, taking a small breath as he closed his eyes once more. Seto smiled approvingly, his voice was beautiful when singing, much more beautiful than when he would be yelling. He opened the door fully, moving his body so he could lean on the door frame, he began to clap.
Joey's eyes snapped open, jerking his head to the door to find Seto leaning there, clapping when a small smile on his face. His eyes widened, his face turning a bright pink as he processed some small information in his brain. The royal heard him sing, he had heard him sing! He stood up, his heart now racing due to him being nervous, why was the royal clapping? Was he mocking him?
"What're you doing here?" Joey asked quickly, sweat beginning to form on his brow. Seto stopped clapping, but the smile stayed.
"You sing wonderfully." The royal complimented, surprising Joey. Joey blinked in shock, what? His face flushed brighter, turning his head to the side.
"I do not." Joey argued. "I'm only singing because of the play, and it's the only time I ever sing, so there is no way I sing good." Seto's smile dropped, frowning at the statement. He really was a good singer, but why didn't he sing more often?
"Why do you not sing more often?" Seto asked, truly curious. He found himself wanting to hear him sing more, Joey could go places with that voice. He was wonderful...
"Because it's embarrassing." Joey looked down at the floor. "And besides, I have bigger issues then not singing enough." Seto narrowed his eyes, here's the smart mouth again...
"What are the issues?" He asked, moving away from the door frame and walking into the room, watching as Joey sat back down and stared down at the script in front of him.
"I can't memorize any lines past the first act of this play!" Joey yelled, grabbing at the sides of his head and closing his eyes in frustration. "Damn it!" He cried out, ignoring how Seto came up behind his chair and began to lean over him, placing his arms on both sides of him.
"I know this play by heart." Seto whispered in his ear, making Joey's eyes open and his face turn crimson as it resounded in his ear. "I could help you." Joey gulped, feeling his body heat up as he noticed how close Seto was to him. Royal, back up!
"T-That isn't necessary..." Joey whispered, his voice cracking as he spoke. Why did this guy have to get so close? And how does he know the play by heart? He was so confused. He placed his hands on the table, trying to calm down.
"You need to get it memorized," Seto told him. "And it's easier to memorize if you have another person with you, so allow me to help." He narrowed his eyes, moving a hand to Joey's and taking hold of it. Seto never found himself to be a good flirt, but Joey seemed to respond well. And he preferred him flustered like this over his other attitude any day.
"F-Fine..." Joey responded. A little help could be nice, but this flirting wasn't nice! He wanted it to stop, he wasn't used to this! Seto had flirted with him before, but he didn't know how to react!
"Good, now." Joey gasped as he was suddenly jerked out of his seat. Seto reached down, taking hold of Joey's script with his free hand. He began to walk to the door, dragging a confused blonde behind him.
"Hey! W-Where-"
"We're going to start practicing your lines, but I think..." Seto smiled as he looked at a clock and heard the final school bell ring throughout the building.
"It would be easier to work over some lunch."
()()()()()()()()()
"Wow..." Joey breathed out, walking into the cabin that held the dining table. He had been confused when Seto had dragged him to the forest for lunch, but then he had told him that they were supposed to have lunch together that day. So, that's why he had come to see him...He wanted to die now, how could he have forgotten about the lunch agreement?
"We will bring out your appetizer in a moment." Espa spoke, walking to the door that lead to the kitchen. Seto and Joey walked to the table, the two still locked in a handhold. Seto smiled as he gently let go of Joey's hand and walked to a chair, sitting in it. Joey breathed through his nose and sat across from him, placing his arms on the table and leaning on it.
"Now." Seto said, throwing Joey's script out in front of him. Joey pouted and reached over, grabbing it from Seto's side of the table. He flipped through it to act two where the commander and Wahankh were to meet. He furrowed his brow as he looked at the page and realized that even though he had studied for a long time, he still hadn't had it memorized. Seto crossed his arms.
"Do you wish to start at the beginning of act two?" Seto asked, watching as Joey nodded. He closed his eyes, remembering of how he would act this play out with the royal siblings. "There you are, I was worried that you had slept in and forgot about me." Joey blinked in shock as he spoke the exact same words from the script, wow.
"Um..." Joey uttered out, staring down at the script. Seto arched an eyebrow in amusement. "Do you not trust me, my master?" That sounded wrong out of context, that sounded so wrong! Joey couldn't help thinking that, why at all times did he have to be dirty minded?! Seto watched as Joey turned a bright red after reading those words, if you took the words out of context it sounded wrong. But it was simply a pupil and his teacher, he was amused by Joey's expression though. Seto let out a small laugh.
"Nonsense," Seto spoke. "I trust you far more than any of my other pupils!" He even did the laugh the commander was supposed to do! Joey yelled in his mind, he really did know this thing by heart!
"I am glad. Now," Joey pretended to look around. "Do I not get a steed of my own?" Seto shrugged, and pretended to gesture to something beside him.
"You will have to ride with me." Seto said, smirking at Joey, hoping that he would, once again, take something out of context. Two people riding on a horse together could mean nothing, but if Joey proved to be as immature as he showed him at times, he would get what he was hinting. Joey's eyes widened at the smirk, don't flirt with me you idiot! He's making the whole play sound like the romance is between the commander and Wahankh, no, no, no!
"I-I finally did it, master." Joey stuttered out. Seto chuckled, he wanted to move on quickly because he was making this sound wrong. Fine, Fine. He was the one who needed the practice anyway. Seto opened his mouth with the intent to speak, but closed it when he saw Espa come in with a silver tray.
"Here you are, gentlemen." Espa exclaimed, placing down glasses and a large bowl of chips with two small side bowls of cheese and salsa. "We will now begin to make the entree, please enjoy your appetizer." He walked away from the two with a smile, he was happy that he was now going to be able to serve them their whole meal.
"Chips and dip?" Seto whispered under his breath in question, an odd appetizer. Joey narrowed his eyes in confusion but reached for a chip and dipped it in the cheese, taking a bite before the cheese dripped off the chip. His eyes widened as he took in the taste. He closed his eyes and smiled brightly.
"This is queso!" Joey exclaimed happily. The cheese was so warm and gooey with just a hint of spice in it, he loved queso! Seto rose an eyebrow in question, queso?
"Queso?" Seto uttered out. "It just looks like normal chips and dip." Joey pouted at him, queso was way better than any normal chips and dip!
"Well, it's not! It's way better than chips and dip!" He grabbed another chip and dipped it in the queso. "Here, try it!" Joey lifted the chip up to Seto, making him look at him in confusion. Huh? What was he doing?
"Huh?" Seto breathed out. "What?" Joey pouted more, oh for the love of pete!
"Say 'ah' damn it!" Joey yelled at him, shoving the chip closer to the royal. If the damn guy didn't hurry up, the cheese was going to get on the table cloth! Seto allowed a small blush to spread amongst his cheeks, say ah? Like, what lovers do? This was...He took a slight gulp.
"Ah." Seto opened his mouth, which Joey filled by placing the chip in slowly. Seto closed his mouth, beginning to chew as he tried not to think about how romantic this was. His eyes widened, it was good. He swallowed his bite, looking at Joey and how he seemed like he wanted a reaction. Seto sighed and let out a small smile.
"It's good." He told him, trying not to smile more as Joey cheered at the response.
"See?!" Joey cheered happily with a giant grin on his face. He looks so happy, Seto thought. But was he so oblivious to the fact that he just did some romantic with him? Perhaps he could make him notice it...Seto reached for a chip, scooping up some of the red salsa onto it.
"My turn." Seto said, trying to make no emotion enter his voice as he did this. Joey blinked in confusion as he saw Seto raise a chip to him, huh?
"Say 'Ah'." Seto smiled and gestured the chip forward. Joey blushed at the statement, wait isn't that what he did? But...Joey tried not to yell as he suddenly realized what he had done. He was making this seem like a date, a real date! But, he had done it to him, so it was fair that he did it back...
"A-Ah..." Joey stuttered out, opening his mouth. Seto placed in the chip and smiled as Joey began to chew. Joey's eyes widened, what the-?! This salsa was hot as hell! His face became red as he began to yell about how hot it was, making Seto let out a loud laugh at this.
"Get me some water or some-" Joey took notice of a glass of clear liquid, taking hold of it and chugging it without knowing what it was. He gasped for air after he was done, suddenly beginning to smack his lips together...That tasted like wine...
"Ah! This is wine!" He exclaimed, making Seto laugh even more. Great, if the blonde was a lightweight, then he would be carrying a drunk guy home! Joey glared at Seto, feeling angered and yet happy at the same time. Despite all of this, he was having fun and the stone faced jerk seemed to be having fun too. He didn't seem like that bad of a guy, maybe being his friend wouldn't be so bad...But first...
"Stop laughing! It's your turn to eat this!"
"If that is your reaction to it, then I am afraid I will have to decline."
"Don't get all high and mighty on me! Eat the damn salsa!"
"No."
"Eat it you royal jerk!"
()()()()()()()()
And then the guy walks me home...Joey thought to himself, feeling embarrassed as the two of them walked through the school grounds. He looked around, noticing it was dark and how everyone seemed to be inside by now. It didn't seem to be curfew yet though...After they had eaten their lunch, they had practiced more and Joey had ended up learning half of act two! He walked alongside Seto, noticing how they were coming up on the male dormitory.
Seto walked him to the front of it, the two of them now facing each other. Seto wasn't ashamed to admit it in his head that he had fun today. It was fun helping Joey, it was fun eating with him, it was fun just plain being with him. Maybe, he really did like Joey more than he thought. But he still found him to be annoying at times, he had shoved hot salsa down his throat for Ra's sake.
"Hey, uh..." Joey began to speak, scratching the back of his head. "Thanks for...helping me..." God, this was embarrassing. He thought, feeling his face begin to heat up. Seto smiled down at him.
"It was my pleasure." Seto replied, feeling happy and sort of surprised when he thanked him. Joey bit his lip, debating on whether to ask this question or not. But it would help him a lot...
"Hey..." Joey breathed out, darting his eyes around. "D-Do you mind helping me with my lines every now and then? Like, whenever you aren't busy...Or something..." Joey trailed off, feeling Seto's surprised gaze on his face. He wanted to spend more time together? Seto questioned himself, the annoying adorable blonde with the fierce attitude who called him a guy who looked pissed everyday, wanted to spend more time together.
"I would not mind." Seto responded gladly. Joey smiled brightly, relieved at the response. He placed his knuckles on Seto's chest, as if he was knocking on it with a smile. It was a greeting he would usually do, but it also worked if he was becoming close to someone.
"Thanks, man." Joey thanked happily, closing his eyes as he smiled. Seto looked down at the hand on his chest, getting an idea in that exact moment. Joey opened his eyes, beginning to remove his hand from the royal's chest, before it was grabbed and risen to the guy's lips. Seto closed his eyes and placed a gentle kiss on his knuckles, taking his time as he held his hand there for a few seconds. Joey's eyes widened at the action, his face burning as this happened.
"Like I said before..." Seto whispered, opening one eye and looking at Joey, amused by his reaction. His reactions were always very, very amusing.
"It was my pleasure."
: It takes me longer and longer to type these and I'm like ugh, because school starts soon and my mind is clouded with things such as oh my god what if I get that teacher that can't teach, but other than that! I hope you liked this chapter, please review!:
