Naruto.. what the hell are you doing here?!

I pressed my back behind the tree trunk I'm leaning on and cautiously peeked behind me. I'm pretty sure no one was there but when I closed my eyes, I can here their voices clearly. Jounins barking orders and strategies, and ninjas darting in and out of trees.

I clucked my tongue in annoyance. I better warn Deidara and that grumpy old troll. I leaped towards another branch. But unfortunately, I stepped on a dry twig and it's crunching noise echoed all throughout the forest.

"Hey. Did you hear that?"

"Yea. I think it's headed this way."

"Probably one of the Akatsuki!"

I groaned inwardly. Well s***. Great job idiot. Now I'm found out.

I used a simple teleportation jutsu and appeared in front of Sasori and Deidara.

The red haired idiot looked at me in annoyance. "What are you doing here you brat."

I growled at him angrily. "Look Sasori, I came here to warn you that Konoha and Suna nins are coming to retrieve the Kazekage's body so stop being so b****y!"

He just scoffed at me and rolled his puppet eyes. "Do you think we don't know that? Go attend to your duties brat."

My eyes twitched and I punched a nearby boulder, which crumbled into pieces. "Sasori, stop calling me brat dammit! I'm 21 for f***'s sake!"

"Whatever brat. Get out of here."

I glared at him. "Sasori."

"Hey you!"

We all turned towards the new voice. "Give Gaara back dammit!"

Deidara smirked and folded his arms across his chest. "And who are you, hmm?"

The familiar blonde raised his fist and glared at Deidara. "My name is Uzumaki Naruto! Give us Gaara back or else!"

I stared at him wide eyes. Well f*** that. I can't fight him! What will I do? Ugh. Screw this situation. I groaned as I pulled my cloak's collar upwards so it can hide half of my face.

Sasori sighed and looked at an old woman. I wonder who that was...

"Hey Sasori." I smirked as I leaned in closer to him. "You checking out that old lady over there?"

He scowled at me. "Shut up you stupid idiot. That's my grandmother."

Deidara smirked and looked at Naruto. "Oh. So this is your friend, un?"

He growled and his eyes blazed with anger. "Yes! Give him back!"

He just smirked and sat on his body which is placed on the beak of his clay bird. "I don't think so, yea."

I sighed as Naruto screamed bloody murder. "Get off him you b*****d! I'm going to kill you!"

Deidara just kept grinning like an idiot until I hit him on the head. "Deidara. Stop acting like a brat."

He pouted then laughed harder this time. "Whatever Midori-chan, yea."

At the mention of my name, Naruto turned to look at me. "M-Midori... Chan?"

I smiled coldly at him. Gotta act evil. Gotta act evil. "Konnichiwa. Naruto-kun."

He looked at me shocked. "Why... why did you join them? Why did you betray Konoha?! So this is where you are all along?! Being a ruthless criminal... You said you'll be there for me forever! Didn't you said that?"

I wanted to run to him and hug him so badly, but I just rolled my eyes and snorted. "Yea right. And why did Konoha betray me? And you seriously think I meant that?! Who would even want to take care of a monster?!"

Oh f***. Tears are pooling in his eyes by now. A pink haired girl with emerald eyes shouted at me. "You don't have the right to say that since you're a monster yourself!"

Kakashi smiled at me with his eye. He reallyn ever changes. "Yea. Stop holding grudges. It's not like we killed you or anything."

An irk mark formed on my forehead. "Yea right. You just kept me away from my loved ones and friends and disgraced my name."

"Midori-nee." Naruto whispered.

I tilted my head and looked at him. "Eh? Nani?"

He clenched his fists. "Do you really mean it? Do you really mean to say that you never loved me? That you never treated me as your little brother? That you only think of me as a monster?"

My face saddened and my resolve crumbled. Ugh. I really have a soft spot for this kid. "Wha- Of course I don't mean to! I really treated you as my little brother! And where the heck did that idea came from? You're not a monster, you're my little bro! And I really, really, really, love you!"

Both of our eyes widened at the same time, my hand flew to cover my mouth. He and all his companions stared at my shocked, panicking and horrified face. Oh great Midori. You just blew your cover. Now they're all suspicious of you! I bet even Deidara and Sasori is!

"Really?" He whispered.

I groaned and pulled at my hair in frustration. "Ugh.. I mean no! Of course I don't love you.. you.. uh.. you monster!" I pointed at him and spoke in a not so convincing voice. "I hate you so much! Uh... uh.. Ah! Sasori! Kill that.. uh.. monster right now! He's a nuisance here in Sunagakure! Kill him! He's the Jinchuuriki of the 10 tailed beast! Gosh.. what a monster.." I sweatdropped when I processed what I just said. Midori you stupid idiot.

Deidara chuckled while Sasori groaned in annoyance. I turned to glare at him. "What?"

Sasori clucked his tongue in annoyance. "We're in Iwagakure you idiotic brat."

(I know I know. They're not in Iwa. But I can't think of any other place suitable OK?)

Deidara smirked. "Yea. And we're miles and miles and miles away from Suna, yea. Oh, and one more thing. He's the Jinchuuriki of the nine-tailed beast. The Ten tails is sealed on the moon which is also miles and miles and miles away from here, yea."

I growled. "Whatever. Deidara, lead that nine tailed beast away from here."

He nodded. "Sure will, un." He hopped on his clay bird and flew off, with Naruto shouting and running after him.

"Give Gaara back!"

Kakashi and the others went after Naruto while the pink haired girl, was it Sakura? And the older woman stayed behind to fight Sasori.

I snorted. "Do you really think both of you can fight against us, huh?"

Sakura growled at me. Ooh.. Doggy-chan. "Shut up! We'll defeat you!"

Sasori just 'hmped' at me. "You're so full of yourself brat. Do you think you have what it takes to defeat me, the puppet master?"

I grinned. "It will take a lot of strength to defeat both Sasori and me."

"Hold it." Sasori turned to glare at me. "Sasori and me?"

I looked at him confused. "Uh.. yea, so?"

"I never said anything about us teaming up Midori."

I looked at him in a mixture of anger and awe at how big his ego is. "What the.. Look Sasori, if you don't want my help, fine! Just don't come running towards me when you got beaten up."

He scowled at me. "You're so full of yourself. I don't need the help of a weak brat like you.."

My eyes twitched. "For the love of f*** Sasori! Did you just say I'm weak?! I bet I can kick your ass anytime!"

He glared at me with those puppet eyes of his. "Dream on brat."

I clenched my fists and took out my double katanas. "Really Sasori? Really? You must've forget I defeated you once."

He scowled at me and took out one of his puppets. "Once but not twice. I demand a rematch."

I glared at him. "Bring it on."

He twitched his fingers and his puppet dashed to attack me. I jumped up and twisted in the air, gripping my katanas and waiting for an opening.

We were interrupted by someone clearing their throat. Sasori's puppet stopped moving and I changed my direction, landing on the ground a few feet away.

We both turned to look at the pink haired brat.

"WHAT?!"

She stared at us. "Uh.. We're your opponents. I mean, it's easier if you two just kill each other but.. I mean. We're the opponents, you're supposed to be comrades and you should attack us not each-"

She was interrupted by a fireball that went flying towards her that came from none other than me.

"Shut up you stupid idiot! We don't need someone like you to teach us the rules of war! We've been fighting for years! You? How many years have you been fighting huh? Huh? I've been fighting for 11 years, maybe more! While this old, grumpy, annoying idiot right here.. actually I don't know how many years he's been fighting but-"

"Midori.."

I turned around. "Eh? Why?"

"Get out of here! This is my fight brat!"

I glared at him. "Nngh.. Fine! Stupid idiot!"

I gritted my teeth and turned towards Sakura. "YOU!"

She flinched slightly as I pointed at her. "Make sure you beat this stupid idiot into a pulp okay?!"

She just stood there shocked, then she nodded slightly.

"Good. And keep your mouth shut. You might get flies."

I turned my back from Sasori and disappeared in a swirl of smoke.

I reappeared in front of Deidara. "Gah!" He shrieked and almost toppled over his clay bird.

I helped him regain his balance and sat him atop the bird again.

"Seriously Midori-chan, you scared me, un!" He shrieked while throwing explosives to Kakashi and the others.

I giggled. "Sorry. I can't help it."

He groaned and swerved to the left to avoid an attack from the ninjas below. "Whatever. Get your ass of my clay bird."

I looked at him shocked. "What?! You- Ugh. Fine. I'll just get the nine-tailed beast. Stupid idiots."

I jumped off his clay bird and stood in front of Naruto. "Hello, Naruto-kun. It's been a long time since I last saw you.."

Naruto looked at me with wide eyes. "Midori-chan! What are you doing here?"

I looked at him coldly. "Oh. Nothing much. I'll just..." I unsheathed my katanas. "Collect you."

** Deidara's POV

I clutched my bleeding arm. Those damn brats... how the hell am I going to fight now? I only have one hand! I flew to where I left Sasori and my expression saddened a little bit when I saw his puppet corpse littering the ground.

I sighed and went to search for Midori. I circled the forest trying to find her when I heard a giant explosion. My eyes widened as I followed where the sound came from. I saw an ANBU with a cat mask and Naruto kneeling in front of a bloody Midori. I can sense the remains of the Rasengan in the boy's arms.

I saw his mouth moving so I leaned in and listened closely.

"Why didn't you fight back?! I-I... Midori-nee... Please wake up.."

She smiled at him weakly. She raised her fingers to shush him. "Shush Naruto... I.. will always love... you as... my little brother... I believe... in you... Ehehe.. you'll be a... great Hokage... one day.."

He shook her still body. "Midori-nee? Wake up! Midori-nee?!"

But she didn't answer. She lay still on the ground. I sighed and shook my head, heading back to the hideout. The other member's eyes followed me. I flinched when Pein's eyes met mine. He may be just a hologram, but he's still as creepy as hell!

"Deidara. Where's Midori and Sasori?"

I looked up at Pein slightly and shook my head. He let out a heavy sigh. I turned to look at Itachi, he stared at me for a while before breaking his connection. I sighed heavily and walked out of the room.

I'll explain the fight between Naruto and Midori in the next chapter. -_- I'm so lazy!
