What up bros! It's AnonymousFanDude! I'm sorry I haven't updated in a while, I really am, *cough* no I'm not *cough*! Sorry. I had bit of a coughing fit there. This might be the last chapter of this story but don't worry there'll be a sequel. So enjoy! :)
When I finally make it to school I just want to turn around and go back home. Everything hurts. Especially my shoulder. I had woken up this morning at Peters house and my shoulder was bandaged up. I had gotten up as quick as I could, grabbed my bag and walked to Christinas. I got ready for school and put on a thousand pounds of make up to cover my bruises.
I walk up to the group and try not to draw any attention to myself. I'm only at school because I don't want people asking questions.
"Hey," Christina says. "Are you okay?"
"Yes," I say, a little bit too fast. "I'm fine."
"Are you sure? You don't look like your fine." Damn. I forgot. Christina can always tell when I'm lying.
"Well I am," I say.
She mouths his name to me. 'Peter'. I nod. She gives me a sympathetic look.
Everyone keeps on talking except for Four. He just keeps on staring at me and I know he can tell that I'm lying. The bell goes so I head to my first class.
At lunchtime I start walking to the cafeteria but then Four comes up to me. "We have to talk," he says as he grabs my arm and pulls me away from everyone.
"What?" I say.
"Are you okay?" he asks.
What? "Yeah, of course I'm okay," I lie.
He comes closer to me, his face full of seriousness. "Tris. Why are you lying to me?"
"I'm not," I say.
His eyes go softer. "Tris. I can tell that your lying, you're scared, I can see it whenever I look into your eyes. I can see the bruises on your face, half hidden by your make up. You're hiding something. You can tell me. You can trust me."
I try to stay strong, I do. But you can only be strong for so long. Tears trickle down my face and next thing I know I'm hugging Four, crying into his shirt. "Everything," I say. "Everything's wrong."
He hugs me tighter and I tell him everything. About Peter, about my mom, my dad. But he doesn't seem very shocked. At all.
The bell for the end of lunch goes and I pull away. I wipe away my tears. "Thank you," I say.
But just as I'm about to leave he says, "Tris. If you ever need to talk, call me. I'll be there."
I smile, mumble a thank you, then leave.
Okay, so that wasn't the last chapter but there will be one more chapter, I promise. Now I'm gonna go because I feel sick and I wanna take a nap so bye. Please follow, favourite, review, review, and review!
