They didn't bother to ask any questions, only to get the passed out woman, the boy and the little boy in the ambulance and heading towards the hospital before they died. The irregulars followed in the own cars, each one worried about what happened while they were down there and the main question on everyones minds.

*2 year later*

I stared down at the grave in front of me, tracing over the words with the tips of my fingers. I sighed sadly and placed the flowers I brought with me in front of the grave before pushing myself of the ground and standing up, dusting the dirt of my pants.

"I can't believe its been 2 year already. Since that day..."

*Flashback*

I awoke to a white room, the brightness blinding me for a few seconds. Seriously! Why paint a hospital room white? Do they want the patients to think their dead?! I thought to myself as I rubbed my eyes with my fist, waiting for them to focus. When they did, I looked around to see if anybody was with me when I found Bou-San asleep next to my bed. I smiled and gently shook him awake.

"Bou-san. Bou-san. Wake up"

I heard him groan before he lifted his head and stared at me. I could see his eyes still filled with sleep but that quickly vanished when he saw who woke him. Happiness filled his features as he engulfed me into a hug.

"Jou-chan! You're alive! The doctors told us you were in a coma and you wouldn't wake up! But you did!"

I tried to say something back but his arms were too tight, I could feel myself getting light-headed. I pushed on his arms, letting him know to let me go. The arms around me loosened and I sucked in a huge gulp of air.

"Sorry."

I waved my hand, saying it didn't matter while I tried to get my breathing back to normal. When I did, I looked up at him. "What happened?"

Confusion filled his features this time and he tilted his head. "You don't remember?"

I shook my head and looked down. "The last thing I remember was telling the ghost to let Gene go."

"Oh. Well you missed out." Bou-san recited the story to me and I just sat there until he was finished. When he had stopped talking I stared at him dumbfounded.

"I destroyed the ghost?"

He smiled and nodded. "Yep! Thanks to you, we're all safe."

I smiled back widely and was just about to reply when a knock on my door interrupted us. "Come in" I called out to them.

The door opened to show a policemen standing in the doorway. I smiled and motioned for him to come more inside, which he did. "Excuse me, but are you Mai Taniyama?"

I nodded and the man continued. "My name is Officer Kio. I was wondering if I could ask you a couple of questions?"

"Uh..sure." I turned to Bou-san. "Can you give us a minute please?"

"Sure." He kissed my cheek and left the room, I saw him lean against the wall next to my door.

I motioned to the chair next to my bed and watched as Officer Kio sat down and pulled out a notebook. "Alright Miss Taniyama. Do you remember anything from when you fell down the hole at Usai Manor?"

I shook my head.

"Alright. Do you have any siblings, Miss Taniyama?"

Once again, I shook my head. "None that I know of sir."

He nodded and looked down at his notebook. "I'm sorry to inform you but we found a body in that room and we had it checked out. The body belonged to a woman named Yasume Reika, and she was 35 years old. She was a maid that worked at the manor for Mr Usai. We looked her up on the data base and found that she was your fathers sister but they lost contact many years ago."

My mind was a blur from when he said that girls name. "Wait. Are you saying that my father was not an only child?"

"That is correct."

"And my new found aunt is dead?"

"Yes."

I don't remember after that because I passed out.

*End Flashback.*

I read the tombstone once again. It read;

R.I.P
Yasume Reika.
1977-2012
Daughter, Sister, Friend that will be forever missed.

I sighed. "I had a aunty and I never even knew. And I never even got the chance too." I felt a pair of arms wrap around my waist and I leaned into the chest, breathing in the familiar scent.

"I knew I would find you here."

I smiled. "It's one of the few places I can find peace." I turned around and faced the man I loved, wrapping my arms around his neck.

"Come love. The others are getting worried."

"I'm sure they can survive without me for a little while."

"True, but it's your engagement party. And it wouldn't really be a party without the main host."

I laughed and slipped my hand into his as we started walking back towards the house. As soon as we entered I almost got toppled over by a crying Gene. "Mummy! Disuke was going to eat 'gome but I told him not too and he ran into me and pushed me over! I got a boo boo from him!"

Gene showed me his finger and I saw a small cut. I knelt down and looked at his finger and gave it a kiss. "Is that better honey?"

He sniffled and nodded before hugging me tightly. I smiled and lifted him up and placed him on my hip before walking into the lounge and saw everyone talking. Madoka and Ayako were sitting in the corner talking about something while Bou-san was on the ground playing with their one year old daughter Kagome. Which Gene calls 'Gome' because too hard to say.

John and Masako were cuddling on the couch watching Bou-san while Disuke our puppy sniffed around everywhere. I couldn't find Yasu or Lin but I presumed they were in the kitchen. I watched as Kagome pulled at Bou-sans hair while he pulled a face at her and I couldn't help but laugh. Everyone turned to the sound and grinned at me. "MAI! Your back!"

"Who said I ever left?"

Madoka smiled widely at me and wobbled over to me, her pregnant belly protruding out. "Congratulations Mai. It's about time that Naru proposed to you."

I laughed and hugged her. "Thanks Madoka."

The night continued without a hitch...except when Kagome threw up on Ayako and Bou-san laughed which resulted in him laying on the floor with a sore head and a laughing Gene. The time came where everyone had to go home and I smiled. "We're going to have to do this again some time."

Everyone cheered in agreement before congratulating us once again and getting into their cars and driving home. I picked the sleeping Gene off of the floor and tucked him into bed before going to my bedroom and getting ready.

I felt hands wrap around my waist and soft lips trailing down my neck. I smiled and turned around in the arms and gave Naru a kiss on the lips. I heard him groan when I pulled away.

"What did you think of tonight?"

Naru gave me that smile which he reserved for myself and Gene and pulled my hair out of the pony tail I had kept it in. "Besides the throwing up part with Ayako's daughter. It was perfect. But you know what the best part is?"

I smiled and played with some strands of his hair. "And what would that be?"

"I finally get to be alone with you." That's when I felt the floor disappear beneath me and Naru's arms replace it. I giggled and wrapped my arms around his neck as he carried me to the bed. He laid me down and kissed me.

I kissed him back and smiled widely. "I love you Naru."

"I love you too Mai."

The End.

Really shit ending to the story if you ask me but I bet none of you expected Mai to have a sister? Me either... I was trying to figure out how her mum had another daughter when she died when Mai was in middle school but you know. She got pregnant when Mai was young so Mai wouldnt really know what was going on... so it all works out.

Anyway. This is the end of the line for this story. Its been great writing it and I hope you have all enjoyed reading it! I may write a sequal or just another story in general. :DD
