One month was a long time to be displaced from your own time. Steven could feel the tension in the apartment as he came back in with tonight dinner. When the fully implication of living in a different time struck them they gave up on gambling to earn money and, just used the credit card. However Steven insisted that they be smart with how they spent their money. It was decided that they would get an apartment rather than spend the entire month in hostels and hotels. Yuki did some research and, found a nice two bedroom apartment. However it was still smaller than the cabins and, there was starting to be some tension.

Meanwhile Petra had gone shopping. After the first day she had come back with three outfits for everyone. Everyone got three pairs of jeans, three t-shirts, one in white on in black and, one in their color and, one pair of tennis shoes. That did not include the underwear and socks and what not. They also had coats since it was November when they arrived and was now December. Steven was dubious that any of it would fit and, when it did Peter told him that his sister had an eye for fashion. Steven decided to just leave the fact that Petra said she was making them Antarctica outfits alone. She probably knew what she was doing.

Haru and Yuki had taken to stalking the young Ken Ichijouji. There was no other way to really explain it. Haru and Yuki were stalking the still recovering boy. It made sense. Daemon wanted a Dark Flower for some unknown reason and, in order to get one of those he needed a Dark Spore. Right now Ken Ichijouji was the only one with a Dark Spore. However Daemon hadn't appeared yet and, they left for Antarctica tomorrow morning bright and early.

Steven thought it was a good thing that they were leaving soon. The close quarters were starting to get to everybody and, Steven could see how everybody was trying desperately not to yell and anyone. The Digimon had it worse. They had to pretend to be stuffed animals whenever there was the slightest hint that someone was watching them. Everybody was ready for this trip to be over. Steven thought that if this time shift was permeant they might wind up going their own separate ways. He wondered when they would make that decision.

He opened the door and kicked of his shoes, "I'm back!"

Peter appeared from the kitchen, "Did you bring dinner?"

Steven held up the container of take-out food, "Yeah. Petra?"

Peter told him, "Sewing in our room with our Digimon and Wormmon."

Then Steven asked, "Haru and Yuki?"

Peter scowled, "Not back yet."

Steven scowled as well. Petra, Haru and, Yuki had things to do in this day and age so by default Steven and Peter had been relegated to caretakers. Steven wouldn't have minded that much if the three workers let themselves be taken care of. They didn't. They just kept going and going. Luckily betwixt the two of team the Judge and the Diplomat were able to bully them in to eating and sleeping so that way they didn't drop.

Peter asked, "What you get?"

Steven grinned as he put the bag on the small kitchen counter, "I found an American fast food place."

Peter started grinning, "That's awesome!"

Steven told him as he shrugged, "I just desperately wanted a cheeseburger."

Peter shrugged as well, "That works for me!"

Then Steven heard an unfamiliar chirp. It was coming from his wrist so he looked down to see his Digiwatch flashing. Peter's soon followed suit. Petra appeared at the entry way to the kitchen and, held out her wrist. Steven tapped to receive the message.

It was a voice message from Yuki, "We found Daemon! He made copies of himself so even Shintakumon is having a hard time keeping up. Come to this location now!"

Peter asked, "How did Daemon make copies of himself?"

Steven chided him, "Doesn't matter! Get your shoes on! Let's go!"

The three of them hurried to shove on their shoes while Peter called out for Terriermon. All three of the Digimon in the apartment heard it and, came hurrying out. As one they jumped into the waiting arms of their humans. Then the group hurried out of the apartment. Steven paused just long enough to lock the door behind them. Then the rushed down the hallway. They had to get to the location that Yuki had sent them.

**Scene Change**

Yuki and Haru were the members of their group that decided to watch Ken Ichijouji. They were both Japanese so they blended in. Haru didn't care what Steven said. They weren't stalking him. They were keeping him safe. Okay, Yuki may have been stalking him but, Haru was keeping him safe. They were also watching for Daemon. Patamon and Agumon had understood why they need to stay in backpacks but, they weren't happy about that.

Haru spoke to Yuki in Japanese, "Do you want to see your mom?

Yuki was sitting next to Haru and, sighed, "I've seen pictures of her when she was my age. I look exactly like her, green eyes and all. Steven was right. It wouldn't be a good idea."

Haru nodded and accepted that answer. He didn't point out that it wouldn't be that difficult to get Yuki a blonde wig and dark shades. She was trying to convince herself that it was a bad idea and, Haru wasn't going to persuade her otherwise. It was a bad idea. Who knew what would happen if Yuki accidently touched herself or something? Haru turned back to looking at Ken. Yuki was looking at her Digiwatch as it scanned the area for unexpected Digital Activity. They didn't want Daemon to get ahold of Ken.

Ken was coming out of the school building with the rest of the Digidestined. It was two days before Christmas and, it looked like they were making plans to celebrate. Haru smiled at that. He had never really been free to hang out with friends. His father always had him studying and, Haru used his precious free time had been used to practice soccer. He suspected that Yuki had always been a bit of a shut in. Tomorrow the group started their trip to Antarctica.

Just then Yuki sprang to her feet, "Daemon's here!"

Haru didn't question as Yuki took off running. He had to smile when he saw that she wasn't wearing the tennis shoes that Petra had acquired for her. She was still wearing her high heeled boots. It was hard to believe that the girl that had to stop because she kept tripping in high heels was now running in them and not missing a single step. Haru was right behind her as she ducked into an ally. While he ran he swung his backpack around to let Agumon out. This was just the chance they needed to see the Digimentals in action! As such Haru found his Digivolution App as fast as possible.

Yuki shot out her hand to grab Haru's wrist, "No! We're too close to The Additional 4. They'll see us!"

Haru cursed, "Damn! We have to lead him away from here."

Yuki was clueless in this situation, "How?"

Haru grinned at her, "Daemon was after you when he got caught up in the blast."

Yuki knew where this was going and paled, "Oh no!"

Yuki tried not to be thrown off by Haru's smirk and, instead scowled at him. She then shouted up as Daemon as he raced across the roof tops. Haru's plan worked; Daemon shifted targets. Yuki then turned and, ran away from where they were. She was looking for a battlefield that wouldn't cause too much inconvenience. Soon Yuki found herself in a poorly lit park. This was perfect.

Haru appeared next to her, "Is this place safe?" When he got confirmation the General selected to begin Digivolution, "Digivolution Activate!"

Agumon had been running next to Haru, "Agumon Digivolve to …" The transformation didn't take much time, "Greymon!"

Greymon did not stop there, "Greymon Recode to …" Haru was dead serious as the rainbow Data wrapped around him, "Shintakumon!"

Yuki quickly followed suit as she found the necessary app, "Digivolution Activate!"

Patamon wiggled pout of Yuki's backpack just in time, "Patamon Digivolve to …" Patamon hovered in the air as his Data changed, "Angemon!"

That was when Daemon caught up to them, "Well well well. Greetings Shintakumon, Angemon, Hacker."

Shintakumon didn't waste any time, "Daemon!" He pointed his cannon at him, "Connection Blaster!"

However Daemon was too quick for him, "I thought that I might find you if I went after Ken Ichijouji first."

Yuki shouted at him, "Well you found us! Now we'll end you!"

Daemon laughed at that, "But can you risk that? What if I'm the Daemon that is sent to the Dark Ocean?"

Shitakumon shifted his aim as Daemon darted about, "I don't give a damn! You are the enemy and, time travel hurts my head."

Daemon finally paused, "Fair enough! But can you deal with all of me?"

Daemon held out his arms and, the shadows began to mix with Data. Yuki swore as multiple copies of Daemon appeared. This was not good. Shintakumon could barely handle one Mega level Digimon. This was terribly bad.

Shintakumon calmly leveled his weapon at one of the Daemon copies, "Yuki, I need you to get out of here."

Yuki reacted, "Hells no! I'm your friend! I'm not leaving you to fight alone."

Shitakumon wasn't having that, "I'm going to be brutally honest Yuki. If you stay I'll be more focused on keeping you alive than fighting Daemon. You need to go get Steven and the others." Daemon was still making copies so Shintakumon continued, "I'm asking you as my friend. Leave."

Yuki didn't like that but, she nodded, "Alright. But I'm not going far. I'll call for help."

Yuki turned to run and, Shintakumon ordered, "Angemon! Go with her."

Unlike Yuki Angemon didn't argue, "Yes General!"

Angemon flew after Yuki but, Yuki had been dead serious about not going far. She used her Digiwatch to send out a message and, then found a place to watch the battle. Angemon was just glad that she was out of the way.

As Yuki ran Daemon told Shintakumon, "Tempusmon wants her! So I will destroy you and, then take her!"

Shintakumon didn't bother to answer. He just leveled his Connection Blaster at the enemy and, fired it off. Unfortunately Shintakumon couldn't hold it long enough for the blast to do any real damage before he had to jump away. Another one of the Daemon's had moved to attack. In fact that was what soon happened. As Shintakumon landed a Daemon copy would strike and, he would have to bounce away. If this kept up Shintakumon wouldn't be able to defend his friends. So he decided to try something else.

Shintakumon landed and, took haphazard aim, "Connection Blaster: Friendship Network!"

Later Yuki would the one to report what happened next accurately. As Shintakumon took aim the Digimental of Friendship appeared in the air behind Shintakumon's right shoulder. The Digimental condensed down to just the Crest as the Data or energy, maybe it was both, feed itself into Shintakumon's blaster. Then energy that came out didn't come out as a solid stream. Instead five bursts of spring green colored energy scattered out. Each one made contact with a Daemon copy. As the shots made contact the copies exploded. Yuki whistled. That was pretty damn cool. Still there were countless numbers of Daemon copies. The rest of the group better get here quickly.

In fact their timing was perfect because Yuki heard, "Digivolution Activate!"

Yuki looked to see Steven, Petra and, Peter all holding their Digiwatchs to the sky. It looked like they had waited to activate their Digivolutions until they were sure they wouldn't be seen. Yuki watched the Rookies become Champions and then, the Champions Recode. She was so insanely jealous. She felt useless as well

Angemon must have sensed that if his next words were any indication, "Peace Sister-of-my-Soul. I have faith in you."

Yuki looked up at a softly smiling Angemon with a raised eyebrow, "Sister-of-my-Soul?"

Angemon dipped his head regally, "Since the day we first met."

Yuki shook her head and, turned back to watch the battle. Yaboumon's first action was to ask, "Where is Yuki?"

Shintakumon called, "Safe. I hope."

Then Yuki heard a voice behind her, "Look at what I found!"

Yuki turned and let out a scream. It was one of the Daemon copies. Yuki didn't hesitate before running. The copy came after her but, Angemon blocked the creature with his Angel's Staff. Yuki ran straight for where Seigimon had planted his feet. Now that the Judge of Justice was here that was probably the safest place for her. She didn't get far before yet another copy appeared to grab her. It soared into the air as Yuki let out another scream.

Shintakumon wasn't having that, "Jihimon! Seigimon! We're focusing on the Daemon copies! Yaboumon! Go get our Programmer!

Yaboumon nodded, "Right!" Then he took to the air.

Jihimon cast out her hands to trap two of the copies, "Holy Charity!"

Seigimon let his targeting systems do the work, "Cannon of Integrity!"

A spray of bullets fired off and, Jihimon shifted her Holy Charity to another set of targets. Shintakumon fired off another Connection Blaster: Friendship Network. Siegimon was about to fire off another round of bullets from his Cannon of Integrity when yet another copy crashed into Jihimon. Seigimon cursed as the copies that she had held captive hurried away. Jihimon became entangled in the multiple copies that came to restrain her. Seigimon cursed again as he pointed his left Cannon of Integrity at them with the intent to free his sister.

He let out another stream of bullets, "Cannon of Integrity: Knowledge's Barrage!"

The Digimental of Knowledge appeared in front of Seigimon's Cannon of Integrity. As the bullets fired off the Digimental condensed down to the Crest so that way the bullets passed though it and, collect the extra Data. The Daemon copies smirked as they scattered. Seigimon guessed they thought that the attack would hurt Jihmon. They guessed completely wrong. There was one bullet for each one of the copies and, as the copies scattered so did the bullets. They had locked on to their targets and, weren't breaking off until they had reached their mark. It didn't matter that the Daemon copies tried to out run the bullets. They still Deconfigured when the bullets hit.

Jihimon righted herself in the air, "That was awesome."

Seigimon smirked at his sister, "Let's end this!"

Jihimon's smirk matched her twins, "Yes! Let's!"

Meanwhile Yaboumon was flying after the copy of Daemon that had Yuki struggling. Yaboumon was worried. Right now Yuki was perfectly still. Early she had been struggling. As such the Diplomat of Ambition was worried that the copy had knocked her out. In addition the Daemon was gaining distance on Yaboumon. It didn't help that more copies were attacking from below. Each time Yaboumon attacked on with his Lofty Spear he lost ground. After one of this distractions Yaboumon turned his attention back to catching up to Yuki. That was when he realized that even if he had a clear shot at the copy to avoid hurting Yuki his Lofty Spear would never reach its target.

Yaboumon paused in the air, "Daminit! I don't have a choice do I?" He prepared to throw his Lofty Spear, "Lofty Spear: Strike of Courage!"

As Yaboumon's Lofty Spear soared though the air the Digimental of Courage appeared behind the base of the spear. As it condensed down to simply the Crest the extra Data acted like a thruster. The Lofty Spear practically flew through the air. It crashed into the copy and, tore through it like tissue paper. Yaboumon didn't worry about that. He just rushed to catch Yuki.

When he did catch her Yaboumon started to panic. There was blood coming from the back of her skull and, she was hardly breathing. He carefully sank back to the ground where the battle was almost done. How were they going to get to Antarctica now? They needed would need to get Yuki to a hospital first. She needed to recover.

Shintakumon looked up to see that one of the Daemon copies finally throw Angemon into Yaboumon and Yuki. Angemon noticed this and, devolve into Tokomon so that way the impact was less. Personally Shintakumon thought they were just lucky that Angemon hadn't be Reconfigured because they had been fighting Mega Digimon lately. Yaboumon scooped up Tokomon and, landed next to the General of Trust. Jihimon and Seigimon finished off all but, the one copy that had been fighting Angemon.

Shintakumon asked, "Why do you need a Dark Flower?"

Daemon scowled as Jihimon moved to trap her with her Holy Charity, "A Dark Flower will allow me to return to Lord Tempusmon's side."

Yaboumon asked, "How?"

Daemon laughed, "Why would I tell you that?"

Seigimon pointed his Cannon of Integrity at the enemy, "We could kill you now."

Daemon's voice was harsh, "But do you dare?"

Shintakumon scoffed, "Time travel hurts my head. Answer the question or Seigimon will shoot."

That was when another copy, one that the group originally missed, crashed into Jihimon. She let out a cry and, her Holy Charity faltered. The copy that she had vanished and, the other one tried to get away but, Seigimon trained his left Cannon of Integrity at it to fire of his Cannon of Integrity: Knowledge's Barrage attack. As there was no point in going after the escaped Daemon, which must have been the original, the battle was over.

Yaboumon Decoded in Steven and Minomon. Steven was still holding Yuki and, was about to panic, "Yuki! We need to get to a hospital."

Jihimon snapped, "No! Put her down!"

Steven stared at Jihimon for a moment but, then placed Yuki on the ground. Jihimon moved to hover over the unconscious human. It was remarkable to the Comforter of Mercy that she was even still alive. Then again the Programmer had always been a fighter.

Jihimon held out her hands over her friend, "Holy Charity: Truth of Love!"

This time the pink aura had the Digimental of Love in the center of the glow. Crest of Love came to hover over the center of Yuki's body. The extra Data created as the Digimental condensed down was heading to the injury at the base of Yuki's skull. Her breathing became easier as Jihimon healed the injury.

Yuki's eyes snapped open as she jerked herself into a sitting position, "Damnit!"

Shintakumon started to laugh as he Decode to Haru and Koromon. Haru continued to laugh, "Well then Yuki is all patched up! Let's go finish our preparations for Antarctica!"

Yuki wasn't sure what was going on but, since Haru was laughing she smiled as well, "Yeah! Let's!"

**Scene Change**

Antarctica was cold. Yuki figured that it would be even colder if Petra hadn't gone all out when making their wardrobes. For once they all matched. Petra had stayed with a mostly black theme since according to her twin the cloaks were black. They all had black jackets lined with fake white fur over long sleeve shirts in their colors. Over their hearts on the jackets was their symbol in the correct color. Since Petra didn't know what the symbol for Victory was Yuki's jacket was bare. For pants they wore pants that were once again black and, lined with fake white fur over jeans. Their black boots went over their jeans and, up to their knees. The lack of heels was bothering Yuki's walking patterns. They each had scarfs made of the same white imitation fur and, matching black hats with the same type of lining. The insides of each of the cloaks were their colors but, the outsides were black. Petra had given them hoods. In Yuki's mind they were splashes of ink and paint on pure white paper. The Digimon were pressed to their humans to keep warm.

As they walked Haru asked, "Are we sure we are going in the right direction?"

Peter called back, "I don't know! I think so but, Yuki has the compass."

Yuki looked down at it as she tried to read it, "I think so. We need to be going in a southeastern direction right?"

Steven came over to look at the compass as well, "No! According to Peter we need to be going in a south-southeastern direction." He considered the compass as Yuki handed it towards him, "Yeah. We're not lost yet."

Petra let out a desperate laugh, "No lost yet! I like that!"

Patamon took off when Yuki's arms to see if he could scout ahead. Yuki called after him, "Keep an eye on us. I don't want you to get lost and freeze to death." Then Yuki looked down at her fingers and said, not for the first time that day, "I hate mittens."

Petra sighed, "So you've said but, mittens are warmer than gloves."

Yuki replied, "You can't type in mittens."

Haru responded, "I swear this is good for you. We need to get you away from the computer more often."

Patamon came crashing back into Yuki and, she asked, "See anything?"

Patamon responded, "Yes! I see the Control Spire!"

That was all everybody need to hear to start running. They crested a snow drift and, saw the black tower and, the practical swarm of Ice and Snow Digimon. This was going to be harder than they thought. Surprisingly no one questioned whether or not it was supposed to be them or not that the report talked about.

Haru asked, "Peter? Analysis?"

Peter answered, "Most of them are the Champion level Digimon, Icemon, Hygomon and, Frigimon. It looked like there's two Champion Icedevimon and, one Ultimate level Iceleomon. The Control Spire is messing with their brains."

Haru knew that they wouldn't be able to Recode until the Control Spire was destroyed so he told Yuki and Steven, "Alright! You're up!"

Yuki used her teeth to pull off on of her mittens, "Right!" She then ran though the apps on her Digiwatch until she found the Digimental of Hope. She selected it as she declared, "Digi-Armor Energize!"

Patamon took to the air to start his Digivolution, "Patamon Armor Digivolve to …" The light consumed Patamon and, the only one that could look at it was Yuki, "Pegasusmon; Galloping Hope!"

Steven followed Yuki's example and selected the Digimental of Light from his Digiwatch, "Digi-Armor Energize!"

Wormmon jumped into the air as well, "Wormmon Armor Digivolve too …" This time only Steven could look, "Quetzalmon; Scales of Light!"

Peter was about to geek out, "Pegasusmon; Galloping Hope attacks from the air with his Star Shower and Queztalmon; Scales of Light uses his wings to create Toltec Wind. Both almost never miss."

Both of the Armor Digimon took to the air to attack their target; the control Spire. The Icedevimon were the only one that could attack the airborne Digimon but, Pegasusmon and Queztalmon dodged the attack to confront their true target.

Queztalmon flapped his wings, "Toltec Wind!"

Pegasusmon's hoofs started to glow, "Star Shower!"

Both attacks hit their target and, the Control Spire crumbled to the ground. The Icedevimon started to laugh. That was an eerie sound and, everyone was instantly on guard.

One of them told Pegasusmon, "Thank you! Now we can gain more power! This world will be ours!"

The two Icedevimon switched their attacks to the Icemon and, as the Icemon Reconfigured the Icedevimon took the extra Data and, added it to their own. It was some type of mutated Digivolution.

Haru cursed in Japanese before switching to English, "They are gaining the power of Ultimates!"

Peter smirked, "Leave it to us!" He found his Digivolution app, "Digivolution Activate!"

Petra followed her twins lead, "Digivolution Activate!"

Terriermon and Lopmon Digivolved at the same time and, then Gargomon and Tururiemon continued on by Recoding. Both sets of twins were grinning like fools as they became one.

Haru smirked as he watched, "Alright then. Seigimon and Jihimon can take care of that." He turned to Yuki, "Get us a Digiport. Greymon, Queztalmon and Pegasusmon will do traffic control."

Iceleomon came up next to them, "You must be some type of Digidestined."

Haru lapsed into silence and, Steven spoke to the Ultimate, "Of a type. We just want to get the Digimon back home."

Iceleomon nodded regally, "I would like to help."

Steven's smile could be heard, "Then perhaps you can be a good example and go first."

Iceleomon was concerned, "But the Icedevimon."

That was when the group finally heard, "Holy Charity!"

They turned to see that Jihimon finally caught the Fallen Angels. Seigimon pointed his Cannon of Integrity at them, "Cannon of Integrity!"

The bullets made contact just as the pink aura failed and, the Icedevimon Deconfigured. Iceleomon turned back to Steven, "I think I will go first."

That was when Yuki exclaimed, "Done!" She spun the computer around in her arms so that the screen was point outward as she told Haru, "Whenever you're ready."

As Iceleomon entered the Digital World Haru selected his Digivolution app, "Digivolution Activate!"

Agumon declared, "Agumon Digivovle to …" The Data finished its work, "Greymon!"

Steven told Haru, "I'm going to go keep watch for our guests."

Haru nodded, "You do that."

Steven went to go keep watch as Seigimon Decoded into Peter and Gummymon. Jihimon Decoded into Petra and Kokomon and, the four of them came to stand near where the Digimon were being directed into the Digiport. Greymon, Quetzalmon and, Pegasusmon occasionally directed a few stragglers back into the line.

Then when they were almost done Steven came over to whisper into Yuki's ear, "They're here."

Yuki turned to look and, then nodded towards Steven. When the last of the Ice and Snow Digimon were back in the Digital World Yuki closed the computer and placed it back in her bag. Greymon devolved back into Agumon and, came over to join the cluster as Gummymon and Kokomon started jumping from head to head. Pegusasmon and Quetzalmon flew in slow circles above them. So far everything was going right.

Haru heard Taichi Yagami start to say hello when the wind that Peter had report kick up. It was intense and, Haru could barely keep his eyes open. Still he saw when the Control Spire Data became a Digiport. At the center he could see someone but, couldn't see who it was.

Then the person took a few steps forward and, called out, "Do you lot want to be stuck here?"

Peter yelped out, "It's Elsie! Let's go!"

Haru's face spilt into a wide grin, "Yes!"

Elsie called out a warning, "Each Digimon needs to travel with a human that's not their Partner."

Yuki responded to that by scooping up Gummymon as she ran. Quetzalmon devolved and, landed in Peter's arms. Steven scooped up Kokomon and, Petra bent down so Agumon could clambered on to her back. Pegusasmon devolved into Patamon and, landed on Haru's head. The group hadn't stopped running and, soon they were passing though the Digiport that would hopefully get them back home.

**Scene Change**

Haru landed on the pavement and as he handed Patamon to Yuki he asked, "Are we back? Did we make it?"

Yuki struggled to juggle the now Terriermon and Patamon, "I don't know."

Agumon climbed off of Petra as she reached for Lopmon from Steven, "I don't know but, we are back in the outfits from the Digital World."

Steven handed Lopmon to Petra and, then reached for Wormmon from Peter, "Elsie is missing. She probably just came to pick us up and, drop us here."

Wormmon jumped to Steven as Peter spoke, "How would we even know if we made it or not?"

Peter took Terriermon from Yuki as she spoke again, "Find a newspaper. We still have our cloaks though."

A voice called out, "Good thing to or we wouldn't know it was you!" The group turned to see the grown Taichi waving at them from the entrance of the Digimon International Relationship Office, "So you lot were the Antarctica Digidestined!"

For a moment they just stared at the Leader of the Digidestined and, then Haru asked, "How long has it been?"

Taichi's Agumon exclaimed, "About 15 days."

Yuki whispered, "Two days for us for every one day they have."

Taichi smiled at the bewildered young adults, "Let's talk inside. This time a proper talk. Digidestined to Digidestined."

Haru grinned as he strode towards the door, "Works for me!"

Did you notice in Adventure that the Digimon don't actually have a real nation. They just have their little clans. Finally BEST OC Maker reviewed.
