Here's the chapter. I must say to one of the reviewers that I would never ever EVER kill off Cat. I'd rather resurrect Hitler. Seriously. Given the choice I'd bring back Hitler instead of kill Cat.

Disclaimer: I am not currently in possession of the rights to the television show Victorious.

I was awakened by the sound of a nurse changing Cat's IV bag. She leaves soon after the deed is done and I look around the room. I find the clock and see that it's four am. I hear a slight noise in the room and I look around to see what it could be. It's dark so my vision isn't at it's best. I notice movement on the bed and as soon as I notice this I hear her voice.

"Ow! Ow! Why does my head hurt?" Cat almost yells frantically. I can see she's holding her head.

I sigh. "It's a hangover, Cat." I say softly. "Just be quiet so you don't make the pain worse." I get up and go into the bathroom, turning on it's light.

"But it hurts." she whined. I see a bunch of plastic cups and fill about eight of them with water. When I finish I bring them over to her two at a time.

"Drink all of these. It will help." I hand her a cup and turn the bathroom light off before sitting again. I watch as she finishes all of them. I should ask her about everything. Then again, I'm too tired to even think of what to say first.

"Jade?" Cat said.

"Go back to bed, Cat. It's four in the morning. We can't get you out of here until eight so we may as well sleep." I tell her before falling back to sleep.

I wake up again as the door opens. A doctor comes in with a clip board and a pen. He hands them to Cat and leaves without a word. They are probably the release forms. I watch as she looks them over and signs them. She puts them down and starts watching television.

"Are those the release forms?" I ask her.

"Yeah."

"Then why don't you go give them to the nurse at the desk so we can leave?"

"Because I want to wait for breakfast."

"No. Hospital food is crap. I'll make you something at your house." I tell her.

"Really?" she asks.

"Yes really. Go get dressed so we can go. Your clothes are on that chair." I pointed out the short chair that even Cat would have to bend over to get her clothes. I watch as she gets up, goes over to the chair, and bends over to grab her clothes, completely revealing her ass to me in the backless gown. It takes a moment, but she realizes what happened.

"Hey! You did that on purpose!" she accused.

"That may be, but I slept in a chair so this is my reward. Hurry up." Cat takes her clothes and goes to change in the bathroom. While she's doing that I take the paper work and leave to hand it to the nurse. She looks everything over.

"Everything seems to be in order. I'll send a nurse in with a wheelchair soon." she said.

"But she can walk just fine." I tell the desk nurse.

"It's hospital policy. Every patient that stays here leaves in a wheelchair." she says to me.

"Then give it to me. I'll take her out myself." I say. Stupid hospital policies. Pain in the ass.

"They are over there." she points out the place where they keep them. I go, grab one, and bring it back to the room. By now Cat is done changing.

"Why do you have that?" she asked.

"They won't let you leave unless you leave in this. Get in." Cat gets in excitedly. "Do you have everything?"

"Yeah."

I take a look around just in case. Nothing that I can see. I take the handles of Cat's wheelchair and push her out of the room. We go down the hallways, trying to navigate our way to the entrance. The place in general is giant. When we do make it out Cat gets out of the chair and we walk over to where I parked. We get in and I start driving.

While driving back the car is silent. Cat isn't even listening to the radio. Just the sound of the car in motion. Now is a good time to bring up what happened. I should, but I end up not doing it. She looks happy right now and I don't want to ruin it with this. I know we have to talk about it at some point, just not now. Maybe later today. We come up on the house and I pull in the drive way. We go inside.

"So what are you making?" Cat asks me.

"You'll see. It's going to take a while so watch a movie or something." I tell her.

"Kay kay!" she prances off to the living room and I head to the kitchen.

I send Tim a quick text telling him that Cat is home. Now it's time to get to cooking. Lets see what there is. I check the refrigerator and the cabinets. Plenty of things to use. I take out two cans of chilli, a bottle of hot sauce, a bunch of spices, leftover hamburgers, and nacho cheese. I find a pot and start opening things up. First the chilli. I throw both cans in the pot along with plenty of hot sauce. As I mix those together I turn the stove on and begin to add garlic salt and onion powder to it. After everything is mixed I let it sit while I crush up two burgers and throw that in too. Finally I add the nacho cheese and mix it again while it cooks.

When it is done I add a bit more hot sauce, stir it up, and take it off the stove. Sure it's an unconventional breakfast, but it smells good and I'm in the mood for something spicy. I get two bowls and two spoons. I fill both bowls up and before I can leave, Mr Bubbles brushes against my leg. I should probably feed him. I fill both food and water bowls and take the chilli over to Cat.

"Thanks. What is it?" she asks me.

"It's chilli. I added a bunch of stuff to make it good. Eat up." I tell her. I wait until she takes a bite.

"It's tasty." she said. Three, two, one. "Oh my god it's so hot! Really hot! Ow! Ow! Ow! Hot! Ow!" she puts the bowl down and runs to the kitchen.

"Don't get water. Your going to want milk." I tell her. I start eating and it is indeed tasty. Unlike Cat, I don't run off in a panic. I love spicy foods. Part of me wants to finish the bowl and then kiss her, just to see what would happen, but that's too mean. She comes back with a cup and the entire gallon of milk. "Do you intend on finishing the bowl?" I ask.

"Yeah. It's really good." she pours a cup of milk and takes her first bite. The moment she swallows it she takes a large gulp of milk. She does this for every bite she takes until she finishes. I finish before she does so I go and clean my bowl in the kitchen. When every thing is clean we finish watching whatever movie Cat chose to watch. All I can tell is that it's a Ben Stiller movie. It lasts for two hours and when it's done I figure that it's time to talk about this.

"Hey, Cat? Can we talk?" I ask.

"About what?" she asks as she turns to me.

"About what happened last night." I say.

"Wait." she stops me.

"Why?"

"I just got a fun idea. You are my landlord and I can't come up with this month's rent money so I have to find a way to pay you...another way." Cat is flashing me those sexy eyes of hers and that doesn't sound bad. And now I realize she's changing the subject purposely.

"As fun as that sounds, I think we have to talk about this." I say.

"Why? I don't want to. Let's just forget it happened." she said quietly while looking away.

"Cat, look at me. You nearly died last night. You almost drank yourself to death and I have to know why. Why were you drinking last night, Cat?"

End of chapter 21. Not much to say down here other than ask for reviews. So yeah. If you review the the sun will rise tomorrow. If not, the world ends in a zombie apocalypse. If a zombie apocalypse sounds fun to you, you should still review because the zombies would probably kill you within a week.
