Sorry for being a week late. I've been super busy since last Saturday. I wrote it, but I forgot to post it while I still had time. I hope you all enjoy it!
"Here I am!"
Serena stood and posed in front of her friends and their Pokémon.
At least, Ash thought it was Serena. She had Serena's voice, after all. But she looked different. Weird, almost. Like she had changed right before his eyes.
She still had Serena's honey-blonde hair, and her clear-blue-as-the-ocean-on-a-summer's-day eyes. She was as tall as Serena was. She even stood next to a Fennekin, like Serena would.
But this girl... she wasn't like Serena for some reason. Was it the clothes? The girl wasn't dressed like Serena normally was, in her high-waisted black and red outfit with the white collar. Here she was, standing in a pink top that exposed her stomach, and a short pink skirt. On top of that, she had huge ears and a tail just like Serena's Fennekin had. Ash continued to ponder his thoughts as the strange girl continued to talk. "See how the Fennekin ears and tail give the outfit it's charm?" She tugged on the ears and wagged the tail to emphasize her words. Ash's eyes glanced from the girl who sorta looked like Serena but different and Serena's Fennekin. The ears and tail were cute. On both of them. He continued staring at the Fennekin Girl, trying to figure out what made her so different from Serena, or other girls he'd seen in the past.
"So cute!" Bonnie said, waving her arms. She turned to the trainer, who stared on ahead, completely lost in his head. "Hey Ash, please help us with the video?"
Video? Oh! Right! Serena and Bonnie were making Pokévision videos.
He snapped from his daze and saw Bonnie standing there. He hated to disappoint her... "But we've got special training to do..."
The Not-Serena-Fennekin-Girl slid up right next to him, smiling and staring right at him. Her bright eyes seems to glitter in the sun. "Sometimes taking a break can go a long way to help you focus your training~" she said in a sing-song voice, gazing directly into his eyes.
He felt all his resistance melt away. Not-Serena-Fennekin-Girl had a good point! "You're right..." he said, putting his hand behind his head.
"Yay!" the girls cheered simultaneously.
