~ Frozen Epilogue ~

The Wonderful Wedding

I feel like I want to faint or puke.

I know, today is my wedding day and it should be one of the most happiest days of my life. However, I can't shake off this intense anxiety nagging within me. Isn't it the bride that should feel nervous? How come I feel like my heart is going to explode when I am the groom? Restlessly, I adjusted my black tie. I was wearing a typical groom suit. Black tie, black dress pants, black tuxedo suit, and a white buttoned dress shirt. At least I don't have to deal with the huge wedding dress and putting on make up. Too bad for Rapunzel.

I bet the princess will be the most beautiful thing my eyes have ever laid on when she comes out.

A smile brightened my face.

I have to the luckiest man in the world to get to marry a girl like her.

Then, she walked in.

How have I not fainted yet?

Rapunzel had her brown hair braided into an elegant up-do, bride veil falling down her back. She wore a white dress with a golden flower design growing from her waist to the top of the dress strap. On top of her head, lay a glittering diamond tiara. Yes, her parents finally agreed for their daughter to marry me after one entire week of arguing. You have no idea how stressful that was for me. Two people constantly calling me a made up character can successfully cut my self-esteem into half. Her green eyes sparkled with radiance. Her skin glowed. She was absolutely stunning.

"Hello, princess. You look beautiful," I whispered into her ear.

She blushed scarlet in obvious embarrassment.

The bald priest walked in and started the ceremony.

We walked to the altar. Honestly, I didn't pay attention to what the priest said because I was too distracted by my fiancee. Blame her, not me! It's not my fault that she is so beautiful that I can't tear my gaze away from her. Rapunzel will be the death of me, I swear. My eyes are glued to her face. Gah, I don't even know where the priest is at with his words! At this point, I am going to embarrass myself and my soon-to-be wife. We are going to be the laughing stock of Corona because of me.

The priest turned to us and questioned, "Do you Jack Frost promise to love, honor, cook for, clean up after, surrender your share of the blanket to, relinquish the remote to your partner, until death do you part?"

The audience laughed. So even this old man has a sense of humor. Cool.

"I do."

"Do you Rapunzel take this man to be your wife?"

What? No funny question for the lady? No fair.

"I do."

Time for me to say my vow, I think. Let's hope this is the right time. The priest motioned for me to begin and I took a deep breath. Everybody's eyes were on me. Bunnymund in a pink frilly dress glared at me, impatiently tapping his foot. Oh yeah, he lost a bet to me during my bachelor's party. So, I made him wear that to my wedding. Life was never fair to begin with.

"I, Jack, choose you, Rapunzel, to be my wife," I started,"in front of our friends and family gathered here, I promise to love and cherish you throughout the good times and bad times. I promise to try to remember to put put my dirty clothes in the hamper, to replace the toilet paper roll when it's empty, and not freeze objects. I will love you always."

Rapunzel smiled and I could see tears threatening to fall from her green eyes. Uh oh, what did I do this time?! I was attempting to be romantic, not make the bride cry in tears! Ah, what should I do?!

She began, "I, Rapunzel, choose you, Jack, to by my husband. In front of our audience, I promise to love and cherish you through every obstacle that may come into our path. I promise to learn how to drive a car and how to operate the radio. I will comfort you when your team loses and drink beer with you when they win. I will love you. Always."

"You may now kiss the bride."

Gently, I caressed her cheek and placed my lips on hers. She tasted sweet like chocolate. Yummy. Both of us pulled away, warm smiles displayed on our faces.

"And, without further ado," the priest grinned and happily stated, "I announce these two husband and wife!"

Everyone cheered in glee as we walked down the aisle, hand-in-hand. This feels amazing. I feel like I'm walking in the sky into heaven.

Bunny approached us and congratulated us, "Congratulations, mate! Now... Can I please take this ridiculous outfit off?"

"Hmmm, let me think," I put on my deep thought face, "how about no? I said for the whole wedding didn't I?"

He groaned and stated to Rapunzel, "Watch out for your husband. He's secretly one sly evil person."

I rolled my eyes and placed a hand on his furry shoulder. "You know, I can hear every word you're saying, kangaroo."

"That's the point, Frostbite."

My wife burst out laughing and I glared at the Easter kangaroo. He should know better than to annoy me on my wedding day! He just never knows when the stop, huh?

I felt someone poke my back and Rapunzel confessed, "Hey, Jack, I was thinking on telling you this earlier..."

"What is it, Punz?"

She remained silent and pointed to her stomach.

Tilting my head to the side in confusion, I arched an eye brow. "You got a stomach ache? Or a tummy tattoo? Random bumps grew there last night? What is it?"

"... I'm pregnant."

"... what?!"
