After a long journey, the gang was on the island that contained Silas's tomb and the cure.

"Sunscreen?" Shane offered Damon. Damon just looked at him skeptically. "Oh right."

They had come via boat. Crimson was wearing a brown tank top with a white vest and leather jacket over and jeans. She did the first thing that she said she'd do.

"We're here." She told her dad.

"I don't understand why you had to go." Austin admitted.

"Because Stefan and Jeremy are here and I've always wanted to see Canada." She replied. "I should be back in a few days."

She was with Rebekah and Stefan as Stefan tried to tie the raft down. He was having trouble.

"You're not helping." Stefan told the Original.

"You're perfectly capable of tying a knot." Rebekah quipped.

"Yeah, but giving Elena the stink eye doesn't help." Crimson remarked.

"She killed my brother, tried to stab me in the back once again, she's lucky she's just getting the evil eye." Rebekah responded. Crimson wished that they hadn't brought her, already feeling disdain and hatred over the fact that Stefan might like her.

"You know I can hear you, right?" Elena asked as she stopped in her tracks.

"You know I don't care, right?" Rebekah responded. It was going to be a long trip with the two of them bickering like children. Elena then charged at her with the white oak stake.

"Whoa, no, put that away." Crimson replied as she stepped in the way.

"Go ahead and try to kill me, but then you'd have to deal with the fact that Stefan invited me." Rebekah remarked. Crimson realized that maybe she should have let Elena do it. "I guess he likes me."

Elena put the stake in her bag and Damon walked over to her.

"You know that Stefan is just bringing her because your brother has feelings for his girl." Damon stated. "Your brother this time."

"You're right. With luck, I'll only have to tolerate her for a few days and we'll find the cure and she'll be out of our lives for good."

"I can't imagine her without fangs." Damon quipped.

"You've never talked about what you'd do with the cure." Elena pointed.

"So do you still not want to take the cure?" Stefan asked Crimson.

"I don't know what I want anymore." Crimson replied. She thought it was a better answer than yes.

"Then why are you here?" Rebekah questioned.

"Someone has to keep you from making a move on him." The short blonde declared.

She then noticed that Bonnie was taking pictures of Jeremy's tattoo. She had to imagine that he was getting cold.

"So what do you the Hunters have to do with this?" Jeremy asked.

"I'll explain on the hike." Shane replied. "Put your shirt on. It's going to be cold."

Everyone began to walk toward the cave.

"So we are officially out of cell reception." Shane remarked after his phone beeped. Crimson wondered who he was calling.

"Is anyone else a little creeped out?" Elena asked.

"So then leave." Rebekah instructed. "You're only one here who's completely useless."

"Don't start." Stefan lectured.

"I'm just stating the facts." Rebekah replied. "Jeremy has the spell on his body, Bonnie is the witch that unseals it, Shane is the human compass, the three of us have the tombstone which does whatever, and Elena serves no purpose."

"What about me?" Damon asked.

"You have a nice behind." Rebekah stated. Crimson giggled at that.

"Centuries after Qetsiyah died, the miners were excavating in this area. They bled themselves dry for no apparent reason." Shane explained. "So it seems that the miners saw visions of their lost love ones for a drop of their blood. The word traveled and explorers sought out the well to see if it was true."

"So it was magic?" Crimson asked.

"Some believe that there's a logical explanation for everything." Shane replied.

"What do you believe?" Elena questioned.

"I believe in magic. My wife and son died within months of each other." Shane stated. "I decided to try the well. I saw my wife there."

"I'll go with the logical explanation." Damon replied as he continued to walk forward.

"Stop!" Shane ordered. He then demonstrated that there were traps on the island. "Stay together and keep your eyes open."

"I'm out of water." Jeremy replied.

"I've got some." Crimson declared.

"So do you really believe this magic well stuff?" He asked.

"It really doesn't sound as crazy as it seems." Crimson admitted. "We've seen just about everything, so why not?"

Crimson suddenly noticed someone with an arrow aiming at him and grabbed him out of the way. The thing they knew the man had an arrow in his back. It left the two of in a state of confusion.

Crimson decided to see if the man was on vervain. He was not.

The group then headed to a campsite.

"So where are we now?" Stefan asked.

"According to island lore, a group of college students came here for spring break. A few weeks later they were found completely drained of blood." Shane explained.

"That's good for us." Rebekah commented. "Who sleeps where?"

Crimson didn't know where she should go. She wanted to go with Stefan, but also wanted to go with Jeremy. Maybe a tent with Stefan and Rebekah would be the best for everyone, though there would not be any activity inside of it.

The two blondes sat beside Stefan by the fire as he held the rock/tombstone/whatever it was.

"So it looks like there are no s'mores." Rebekah commented. "What are you doing with that?"

"We're just about to find the cure and I'm not going to let someone steal it." Stefan declared as he placed it in front of him.

Suddenly the three of them heard something run by.

"Did you hear that?" Rebekah asked as she held onto Stefan tightly. Crimson shot daggers with her blue eyes. "I think that this place is haunted."

"You're an immortal. You have nothing to be afraid of." Crimson told her.

"You're also crushing my arm." Stefan added.

"I'm a scaredy-cat." Rebekah admitted. "So I don't want to hear anything about this from either of you. "What are you going to do when Elena becomes human and comes running back to you?"

"It's not going to happen." Crimson pointed out.

"You know he's only with you because she wasn't available." Rebekah argued. "The two of us don't have a chance compared to her."

"Why do you want to take the cure?" Stefan remarked, not answering the Original's question. "Aren't you the perfect vampire?"

"It's all an act, Stefan." Rebekah answered. "I'm miserable as a vampire. I'd give anything to be human."

"I'm not taking the cure for Elena." Stefan responded.

"I'm still sitting right here." Crimson remarked.

"You're destined to be with Jeremy, sweetheart." Rebekah stated. "Haven't you ever seen a movie?"

"I was going to say that it would be for me." Stefan replied. Crimson blushed for making the stupid assumption. She still didn't want to let go of Stefan. She couldn't help but wonder how he felt about being caught in a love triangle between two girls that could rip him apart, not that Crimson would.

In the morning, Crimson went to wake Jeremy up only to find that he wasn't there. She knew that she should have probably stayed with him. He had the same or probably more significance than the tombstone rock thing. Everyone started to look for him, but no one could find him.

"We need to search the island." Elena replied.

"I'll try a locator spell." Bonnie remarked. That led to both Shane and Damon volunteering to watch her. It led to Crimson, Elena, Stefan, and Rebekah going to look for him.

Shane meanwhile told Damon that Silas and the cure were both buried in the well that he had mentioned. He had apparently heard it from his wife's ghost. She also apparently told him about the spell that was needed. Damon was not happy when he heard that Bonnie was a descendant of Qetsiyah. He had a very bad feeling about everything.

Outside, Bonnie began her locator spell which ended up creating a path of fire that would lead her to Jeremy. She had a bad feeling about it, but followed the trail because she needed to find Jeremy to undo the seal.

"JEREMY!" Elena called into the woods as the four continued to look for her brother.

"You know you could yell louder." Rebekah stated. "We obviously haven't drawn enough attention to ourselves yet."

"How are you helping?" Elena asked.

"I'm stronger, faster, and I can charm the islanders a lot easier than you." Rebekah responded. Crimson wished that she could listening to music…someone giving birth…or anything else.

"We get it, you two hate each other. Can we just focus on finding Jeremy and you two can stop your bickering?" Crimson suggested. Stefan seemed to agree with his girlfriend on it.

"I tried to be her friend, but she rejected me with a dagger in the back because I'm evil apparently." Rebekah pointed out.

"You didn't achieve evil until you killed Crimson." Elena pointed out as she stepped forward. She ended up setting off a trap, but Rebekah managed to stop it before she was impaled by multiple stakes.

"Nice catch." Stefan remarked.

"Thank you." Rebekah stated.

"No, thank you. This thing could have killed me." Elena pointed out.

"I don't care what happens to you, but I don't want some random islander to get the joy of killing you." Rebekah responded.

"You're welcome would have worked too." Crimson quipped.

"I'm gonna go see if Bonnie found anything." Elena remarked. "You three be careful."

Shane told Damon about how the sacrifices were involved in the energy that Bonnie needed to channel. He said that he was skeptical, but his wife managed to convince him that she could be brought back. It explained how he managed to convince Pastor Young and Hayley how to orchestrate the two sacrifices.

Damon decided to leave Shane chained up until he would tell him where to find the well that had the tomb of Silas.

Crimson noted that they still weren't able to find Jeremy. She began to look through her phone.

"This is weird." She stated.

"What?" Stefan replied.

"The professor said that there was any cell service, but I have a missed call." Crimson remarked. She decided to call back and found that it was ringing.

"Hello?" Meredith answered.

"Meredith? I can't believe that I'm talking to you." Crimson stated.

"Dad said that you were on some Canadian island." Meredith declared. "Are you looking for the cure?"

"At the moment, we're looking for Jeremy." Crimson told her. "I didn't know that I had cell service."

"I need to go in surgery." Meredith replied. "Just call me whenever you get back."

"Bye." Crimson said before she hung up. "Shane lied to us."

"Okay, we now know that Shane cannot be trusted." Rebekah replied. "But we kind of already knew that with mass killing ways."

"You have the rock in your bag, don't you?" Crimson asked her boyfriend. "Please tell me that you are still keeping it with you at all times."

"I left it at the campsite when we came to look for Jeremy." Stefan replied. Neither of the girls particularly liked that answer.

After nightfall, Elena found that Damon was torturing Shane.

"What the fuck is wrong with you?" She asked him. She turned to the professor. "What did you say to him?"

"Your boyfriend is a maniac, Elena." Shane told her.

She then untied and unchained him.

"Stop messing with my friends." She ordered. She went outside to Damon. "Shane is the only thing that is keeping Bonnie from losing and you're trying to kill him. It's no wonder why Bonnie hates you."

"I don't care, Elena." He stated. "I don't care about her or some lame cure either for that matter."

"How can you say that?" She asked.

"I don't want you to be cured." Damon finally admitted.

"I'm not going to fight with you about this again." Elena remarked. "Being human won't change how I feel about you. So what are you just going to push me away? You need to stop being like this. You think that you don't deserve nice things, so you ruin them. I'm not letting you. Take the cure with me. I know this is real and this is what I want. I am going to love you even after all of this is over. Be human with me."

"That's what Stefan wants, not me." Damon responded. "I used to miss being human, but I can't think of anything more miserable now."

He then walked away.

"I think we're going in circles." Crimson remarked as her group continued to walk.

"It looks the same to me." Rebekah said as she stepped on a rock causing an arrow to shoot out. Stefan threw her against a tree before it hit her. "Thanks, but that wouldn't have killed me."

"We would have had to carry you until you woke up though." Crimson pointed out. "I don't want to do that."

"So are you and Elena going to stop?" Stefan asked.

"Why does everyone assume that I hate Elena?" Rebekah challenged.

"You kidnapped her and tried to burn her alive." Stefan pointed out.

"How about we bring up the fact that Elena helped in the death of not one, but two of my brothers and Kol's entire bloodline?" Rebekah questioned. "Maybe we're not as different everyone says we are. Jeremy's not here. I'm going back."

Rebekah then walked off.

"So what are we going to do about this?" Crimson asked him as she looked around. "She's right. He's not here."

They went back to the campsite and Elena gave them the news that Bonnie had disappeared and so had Shane. Rebekah quickly discovered that the tombstone was gone too.

That caused Rebekah to search through Elena's tent and accuse her of stealing it.

"Let her go." Stefan demanded. "She didn't take it."

"Were you just trying to distract me while Shane ran off with the tombstone?" Rebekah asked accusingly.

"No, we're not letting him get the cure." Crimson remarked. "I may not want it, but I know a bunch of people who do and I don't think that he should get his hands on it."

"I want it." Stefan said. "It can end everything. I'm not working against it."

"I don't trust her." Rebekah stated. Elena responded by handing her the white oak stake. Crimson still thought that they would have been better off leaving that in Mystic Falls.

"Consider this a peace offering." The brunette replied.

"Don't you get it, we're all screwed?" Rebekah declared.

"Yes, we're screwed, but we're together." Crimson pointed out. "It's just us and our only chance is working together on this."

So it's down to this group. They found out that Shane is lying to them. Stay tuned for part two of the search for the cure. Please don't forget to review.
