Kukaku Shiba was certainly something. Her house was also….eccentric. Her brother was also a surprise as he was the same boar riding idiot from the day before. This of course meant Ichigo an him, Ganju, got into a fight immediately upon recognizing each other. Thankfully Kukaku, very loudly, put a stop to the fighting early on.
As interesting as the Shiba clan is and everything, I would really like to draw the line at firing us out of a giant cannon while we are in a bubble made up of our own pooled together reiatsu. This feeling however was apparently not shared by our feline leader who seemed to be just fine with the plan.
We really need to get a better method of entering foreign areas that does not involve us being catapulted through the air.
"So I just have to focus on pouring my reiatsu into this ball?" I asked, hesitant to try the technique.
"Yes." Koganehiko and Shiroganehiko responded in unison.
"And you're sure this is going to work?"
"Yes."
"Well here goes then…" My brow knitted together as I focused my energy and funneled it into the ball. Easily and miraculously a sphere of my own reiatsu formed around me and incredibly I was floating above the ground.
"Wow! Chise you didn't even have to think about it that hard! That's amazing!" Orihime chimed in while laughing and clapping; effectively breaking my concentration and the orb disappeared as quickly as it had come.
"Yes, you did seem not to even have to think about it all, the question is how?" Uryu asked skeptically while pushing up his glasses and I rolled my eyes at him.
"Tessai has been teaching me how to harness and control my reiatsu; this apparently is not all that different."
Uryu humphed and crossed his arms while Orihime started to babble excitedly and Chad was his usual stoic self. Ichigo on the other hand was still struggling to control his reiatsu at all and my heart twinged in sadness as I saw him sweating and brooding over the ball. Suddenly I felt bad about the ease I had felt in doing it where Ichigo was struggling immensely.
He would get it; when he puts his mind to something it always gets done.
