Chapter 21: Pregnancy

The next day, Thatch woke up to see Casper already awake and out of the coffin. He was confused because Casper always woke up with Thatch.

"Good morning Casper, you're up early." Thatch greeted his ghost.

"Hm? Oh, yeah." Casper laughed nervously. "Sorry, I just had a bit of morning sickness."

"Oh." Thatch was surprised. "Are you feeling any better? Do you need to go to the nurse?"

"No, I'm fine." Casper smiled. "But thank you for your concern."

"Of course." Thatch kissed Casper. "I'm going to get ready for the day. Stay out of trouble."

"You too." Casper laughed.

Casper sighed as Thatch closed the door to the bathroom. He pulled up a pregnancy test. There were two bars on it.

"Positive." Casper sighed.

Casper decided it would be best to...Keep this a secret...It wasn't even possible for a boy to get pregnant, was it!

Thatch suddenly walked back out and Casper quickly hid the pregnancy test. Casper smiled and while Thatch was looking for a book or something Casper dropped the test in the trash and walked over to Thatch calmly.

"Hey Thatch."

"Hey Casper, have you seen my notebook for class?"

"Nope. I'll help you look." Casper smiled and started to simply faze through things to save time looking. Being a ghost was great!

"Hey Casper." Thatch said to the ghost.

"Yeah?" Casper asked.

"I was thinking…. That, I've already met your family… and your uncle Stinky approved our relationship."

"Uh-huh." Casper nodded, wondering where this was going.

"I was thinking… perhaps you should meet my family too."

Casper blinked a few times, then smiled.

"I would be delighted. Oh! Here's your book." He handed Thatch his notebook.

"Thanks." Thatch took the book and looked inside.

Casper smiled and floated away, going through the walls into the bathroom. There he locked himself in and took a few more of those test… All having the same result.

Casper sighed, left the bathroom and grabs his bags, floating off to class and settled down in a seat beside Ra. Ra, was currently asleep, as he stayed up late at night, doing who knows what.

Casper played with his fingers for awhile, twirling them around and around. He needed to tell somebody about his pregnancy, and it seemed only Ra fit the bill, considering he's been pretty protective lately.

"Ra." Casper shook his friend. Ra only grumbled but didn't wake up. "Ra… Ra!"

"I'm awake! I'm awake!" Ra jumped awake.

"Sorry to startle you Ra." Casper apologized.

"It's alright," Ra confirmed. "I needed to wake up anyway… no sleeping in class."

"Right." Casper laughed nervously.

Ra noticed that Casper looked alittle… on the edge… he wondered what was up with his ghost friend.

"Is something bothering you?" Ra asked.

"Actually, yes, there is."

"What is it?"

"Ra… I think I might be pregnant."

If Ra wasn't covered with bandages once could see he went as pale as Casper. Ra grabbed Casper, dragged him right out of the fucking classroom and into their dorms.

"Casper, if this is a prank it's not funny… If it's real show me proof."

Casper sighed and floated off, just t return with the test he had taken this morning. Ra glanced to it, and surprisingly smiled, hugging Casper.

"Casper I'm so happy for you! I'll help you out, ok? Even cover for you. Just don't tell anyone else yet, they might spazz out." Ra grinned, lightly patting his friend on the back.

Ra suddenly remembered that Thatch was the father of this child.

"Have you told Thatch yet?"

"No, and he's the father!" Casper groaned. "I just don't know how to break it to him. I'm afraid that if I tell him he'll…"

"He'll what?" Ra asked.

"I don't know." Casper shrugged. "I'm afraid he'll panic and end up hurting himself before the child is even born."

Ra scoffed, rolled his eyes and lightly hit Casper on the back of the head. Damn Casper worried so much.

"Casper, Thatch will be overjoyed! I mean after all, that means the ball hit home."

"... Ok, now you're just being plain weird." Casper looked at his friend awkwardly. "Even I don't know what that means."

"The goal of sex is to have a child, DUH. That means he basically hit a home run and got you pregnant! Yeeesh, for a ghost who had sex you're pretty innocent. I'm a damn virgin, and probably stay that way!"

"Actually Ra…" Casper smirked. "You should try it… you get a lot of pleasure from doing IT."

"EEEWWW!" Ra covered his ears. "I don't need to hear THAT!"

Casper laughed at his friend.

"But maybe you're right." He said. "Maybe I should tell Thatch."

"Tell me what?" Thatch just walked into the room.

"Get out Thatch! OUT YOU BIIIIIIISH" Ra then proceed to shove Thatch out and shut the door."

"What the heck was that Ra?!" Casper shouted. "You said that I should tell him… and he just walks in and then you push him back out!"

Ra pouted and shrugged,

"Get him in the mood~. Go on a date, get hi all happy, THEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEN tell him."

"Typical Ra." Casper giggled. "Always going out for the hard stuff."
