In the caves beneath a glacier (supposedly), Chef looks into a camera. "Last time, on Total Drama Catch Him If You Can." Flashbacks of the previous episode start playing. "I threw the contestants off a cliff, but they all managed to get into these caves, so they actually had to compete in order to stay in the game. Katniss lost, but Finn volunteered as loser, so he's out." The scene cut back to Chef. "Now, more stuff."
Intro song plays.
"Okay, where's the place we'll be competing today?" asked Hit-Girl.
"Right there," said Katniss, pointing at what looked like a destroyed city.
"You probably should have figured that out from the fact that the only other way we can go is back the way we came," said Gary.
"Can I please kill him?" asked Hit-Girl.
"Sorry Hit-Girl, but murder is a felony," said Noodle.
"Just a little?" asked Hit-Girl.
"Well, if you make it look like suicide…" started Ayane.
"I'm pretty sure plotting a murder is illegal too, right?" said Noodle.
"If that's the case, I should be serving eight consecutive life sentences," said Chef. "Now, your challenge…"
"Is to travel through the place we lived when we were imprisoned in here," said Katniss.
"What?" said Chef.
"Did you think we just hung around out in the open when we slept while we were trapped in here?" asked Katniss. "We had to make shelter somewhere, and this is where it is."
"Okay, well, you still need to find these," said Chef, showing them a picture of a strange symbol. "These symbols, that you have never seen before…"
"They're Unown," said Katniss.
"Exactly, they're unknown…" started Chef.
"No, I mean they're a Pokémon called Unown," said Katniss. "Ash showed them to me once."
Chef sighed angrily. "Why must you always ruin my fun?" he asked. "Yes, they're Unown. There are twenty six of them, one for each letter of the alphabet."
"There's twenty eight," corrected Katniss. "There's also one for ? and one for !."
"How did you manage to pronounce those without saying the words?" asked Gary.
"*beep* you, that's how," said Katniss.
"Anyway, you need to find a bunch of these and make a message," said Chef.
"What's the message?" asked Ayane.
"I don't know, I just left a bunch of those things around for you to find," said Chef. "Meet me at the exit on the other side when you have a message. Off you go."
The five remaining contestants started off into the ruins to see what they could find. "Found one," said Hit-Girl, collecting a T card.
"So did I," said Katniss, grabbing a G.
"This is stupid. We don't even know what kind of message we're meant to be making," said Gary.
"Fine, I guess we'll win then," said Ayane, picking up a Y card.
"I got a P," said Noodle.
"You don't need to announce that," said Katniss.
"And just like that, I'm outta here," said Gary, leaving.
"Okay, well, I guess we should split up too," said Noodle, turning to leave the others. Ayane and Katniss just shrugged and started leaving.
"Noodle, wait," called Hit-Girl. "I wanted to…"
"Hit-Girl, I know what you're going to say," said Noodle. "I don't believe Gary about your alliance."
"Really?" said Hit-Girl. "Then would you consider an alliance with me?"
"No," said Noodle.
"Why not?" asked Hit-Girl.
"Because this way, everyone's on equal footing," said Noodle. "Except Gary, but that's his own fault for being a douche."
"Fair enough," said Hit-Girl, turning to leave. "See you in the final."
"Seeya," said Noodle, going back to her search. "Hey, what's this?" Noodle picked up an envelope lying on the ground with her name on it. Noodle opened it and started reading. "Okay, I know exactly what my message should be," she said, resuming her search.
Meanwhile, Katniss had found about a dozen letters. "Okay, just two more and I'll have my message," she said, when a rock flew just past her head. "What the?" she said, looking around. "GARY!"
"What's up?" said Gary, picking up another one. "Hold still. I need to take you out of the competition." Gary hurled the next rock at Katniss. Before she could even move, a yellow and blue blur darted in front of her and caught the rock. "What the?" gasped Gary, as the ground he was standing on began to suck him down.
"With traces of oxygen, silicone, aluminium, iron, carbon, sodium, potassium and magnesium, it's not that hard to transmutate rock," said a familiar figure in a red coat.
"Edward?" said Katniss.
"Hey, don't forget the guy who caught the rock for you," said Zidane, coming into sight.
"Give me back my bra," said Katniss.
"Nice to see you too," said Zidane, giving her back her bra.
"What are you guys doing here?" asked Katniss.
"You know how Dagger and Winry got pissed at us because we didn't make up?" said Zidane.
"Yeah," said Katniss.
"Well, long story short, we ended up down here while fleeing to hide until the heat's off," said Edward. "In that time we've put our differences aside and now work together to survive."
"At least we do until I call him short," said Zidane. Edward threw a rock at him.
"So, do you want me to keep this guy here?" asked Edward.
"Nah, better release him," said Katniss. Edward clapped his hands together, and a few seconds later Gary was free. "Zidane, hit him with that rock."
"Gladly," said Zidane, and knocked Gary out.
"So, did you see Chris come through here?" asked Katniss.
"No, but we did see some blue and red things leaving those pages everywhere," said Edward.
"Blue and red things?" said Katniss. "Were they moving incredibly fast?"
"As a matter of fact, yes they were," said Zidane. "Even I couldn't catch them."
"Those are the things that have been moving us around all season," said Katniss.
"Wait, you guys are still going?" said Zidane. "What day is this?"
"February 25 2015," said Katniss.
"Eight months sounds about right," said Edward. "Well, it was nice seeing ya Katniss, but if you're still in a challenge…"
"Wait, guys, can I ask you a favour of each of you?" asked Katniss.
Meanwhile, Ayane was heading to the exit with her message. "I wonder where Chef is?" she said, looking around.
"Right here," came a voice from above. Ayane quickly jumped out of the way as Chef landed where she had been seconds before. "Damn it, I was hoping to surprise you."
"Try not yelling out when surprising a ninja," said Ayane.
"Well, you're the first one here," said Chef. "Let's see what your message is." Ayane arranged the letters how she wanted them. "'Final Fantasy XV's release date is'…where's the rest of it?"
"That's it. No-one has any idea when or if it's happening," said Ayane.
"Well, that was a disappointment," said Chef. "Let's see if Noodle has anything better." Noodle came running up, and immediately started writing her message. "'Phase four coming soon'. What does that even mean?"
"It's what Murdoc left for me in this letter," said Noodle.
"Okay, well, you lose points for also having a vague message," said Chef. "Let's see if Hit-Girl has anything better." Hit-Girl arrived and started writing her message. "'This statement is false'. I like it. Can I show it to Chris's computer girlfriend?"
"Will it kill her?" asked Hit-Girl.
"Yes," said Chef.
"And in turn cause Chris to die of grief?" asked Hit-Girl.
"Well, it certainly won't make him happier," said Chef.
"Go with my blessing," said Hit-Girl.
"Okay, next up we have Gary," said Chef.
"That crazy *beep* Katniss had that monkey kid knock me out," said Gary. "All I got were these."
"'E, I, E, I, O," said Chef. "Well, you're not last."
"Wait a sec, where's my bra?" asked Noodle.
"Zidane, probably," said Ayane. "He does tha…where's my bra?"
"I'm not even old enough to need a bra, and somehow he stole my bra," said Hit-Girl.
"I'm male, and somehow he stole my bra," said Chef. Everyone stared at him in confusion. "Erm…here's Katniss." Katniss started running up, but accidentally tripped on a rock, sending her letters flying. "Sorry. I'll arrange them for you."
"No need, I think I know what it says," said Chef, putting them in place. "'Suckle Goofy Fur?"
"Erm, yeah…" said Katniss.
"Gawsh, I don't normally yet anyone do that on the first date," said Goofy, who appeared purely for the purposes of that joke.
"Wait a minute," said Chef, rearranging the letters. "Young lady, we aren't allowed to say such a thing on TV."
"The other contestants looked at it. "Why not? I say it all the *beep* time," said Hit-Girl.
"Plus, we all agree with it," said Ayane.
"Well, I know who I'm hammering," said Chef, raising his hammer above Katniss. He brought it down hard, only to find Katniss had vanished.
"Missed her slow coach," said Zidane, holding Katniss in his arms.
"Thanks Z-Man," said Katniss. "Now, give the other girls and Chef their bras back."
Zidane sighed heavily. "Fine," he said, throwing their bras to them. "Now, we're outta here."
"And so are we," said Chef.
"So, you're not going to hammer Katniss into the ground?" asked Gary.
"If you can catch that monkey, you're welcome to," said Chef. "Bye."
