You know...I'm just gonna stop apologizing for taking so long since I know you all know its, for lack of better words, useless and bull. Just gonna go straight on ahead to the story :D

Annabeth POV:

I woke with a start as Percy's incessant alarm clock blaring throughout the apartment. I watched amusedly as Percy twitched in his sleep and slapped the pillow case over his ear.

I looked up and smiled at the sight of our friends waking up slowly from around the room. Piper sat up confusedly, rubbing her tired eyes. I quietly stood up and tiptoed into Percy's room to turn off his alarm when I realized it was already 7:30.

"PERCY, GET YOUR LAZY BUTT UP! WE'RE LATE FOR SCHOOL"

He shot out from under the sleeping bag and ran into the bathroom swearing loudly. Frank and Hazel woke with a start as Percy trampled right past them.

"What's going on?" Frank mumbled

"We're late for school!" I yelled as I ran past them and into the guest room.

I pulled on a pair of light blue high waisted skinny jeans and shimmied into a dark shaded crop top. My hands closed around a brush as I raced for the nearest bathroom. I yanked my curls, desperately trying to tame my bed head whereas Percy didn't even try.

Sally liked to joke that Percy was born with untamable jet black hair. The one time we did successfully get his hair under control took us 2 cans of hair spray.

By the time we raced into the kitchen for breakfast, Sally was already calmly frying some pancakes on the stove.

"Where's Paul?" Percy panted

Sally raised an eyebrow and pointed to the clock. "He left the house 15 minutes ago. He took the Prius."

Our 4 friends sat at the breakfast table snacking on a pan of blueberry pancakes trying not to laugh.

I glanced at the clock wearily. We had a little less then 20 minutes to get to school but we were starving. I calculated that if we left in 10 minutes or so, Percy's shiny ferrari could get us to school with a few seconds to spare before the bell rang.

I slumped down on the wooden chair and pulled a few pancakes onto my plate.

"What are you doing Wise Girl? We have to go!"

"We don't have to leave for another 10 or so minutes. Give or take a few."

Mrs. Marina scheduled to meet us at Percy's school gymnasium at 8:00, something about a closing ceremony. Knowing better than to argue with me, my boyfriend shrugged and started inhaling a pile of pancakes.

Piper swallowed her bite sized pancake and cleared her throat. "Can we join you guys at school today? Chiron thinks it would be a good idea to go back to school and we don't know where to attend." She smiled sheepishly.

"We'd just like to scout around a little bit." Jason added, before stuffing another bite in his mouth.

Sally placed a plate of blue chocolate chip cookies on the table and ruffled her son's hair. "I can give the school a little call if you'd like. Frank, Hazel, will you be joining them today?"

My big burly friend chocked on the cookie he was eating and grabbed his glass to wash it down. "Sure, why not. Hazel and I would love to see Percy's school." He looked up and smiled at Sally.

"Excuse me for a second then." and she disappeared into the living room.

I washed down my last bit of food and stepped into my bedroom to grab my school bag. Throwing in my necessary school items, I zipped up the bag and slipped out of the room. Just as I was about to speak, Sally came gliding back into the room.

"The school board has to problem with it. You just have to shadow Percy for the day."

"Shadow?" Jason asked.

Percy raised his hand excitedly. "I can answer this! It basically means that you will follow me around for the day. Come to my homeroom, my classes, etc."

"What about you Annabeth?"

"Not sure," I replied. "Don't know what my teacher has planned for us today. Anyways, it's almost fifty, we should get going. Bye Mrs. Jackson, thank you for the food!"

"It's Sally dear, please."

"Give it up mom! She isn't gonna call you Sally. She thinks it's too informal" Percy yelled as he raced out of the apartment.

I flushed and waved at my stupid silly boyfriends mother. "Bye Mrs. J- Sally."

And then I followed Jason out the front door.

Ten Minutes Later...

I sprinted into the gymnasium just as the clock struck 8.

Mrs. Marina tipped her head sideways knowingly. "Ms Chase, how nice of you to grace us with your presence."

I bit back a retort and quietly walked into the crowd. Eyeing Sam standing off to the side I walked over to join my friend.

"Hey Sam, how you feeling." She grinned at me with familiar mischievous eyes sparking and threw a thumbs up sign in my face.

"Ok, now, I know you're all quite frankly grumpy to be waken so early the day after New Years, but it's about as long as break you get. So deal with it." Ms Marina spoke the last part jokingly, entirely in too good of a mood for any of us to comprehend.

"Yeah, so what are we even doing here?" a jock grumbled

"Good question. As you all may know, our field trip will be over in 4 days. We'll be returning to California this Friday." Everyone groaned, load protests echoing across the room. "The school wants to throw us a goodbye party. Give you a chance to say goodbye and stay in touch with your new friends."

"So, they want us to plan it? Why are you telling us this?"

Ms Marina sent the jock a pointed look before answering. "As Mr Andriola kindly pointed out, we are meeting in this gymnasium for a reason. The student council is organizing the event and they would like to ask our input."

A few of the popular girls in the corner let out an exaggerated yawn. "Boring…" they whispered under their breaths.

"Shallow" Sam and I muttered at the same. We walked away from the little girly powow in the corner, sitting down on the benches.

"So?" I asked. "I haven't seen you in days and you're suddenly back and no one is asking any questions? Is it just me or do I sense a little mist manipulation here." I shot a knowing look at her, watching as she squirmed uncomfortably.

"I spent the last few days catching up with Mom and Dad. He offered to manipulate the mist so I wouldn't be so bothered."

I gaped at her and uttered "Dad?"

She flushed and looked away. "Yeah, I guess. I mean, the last few days have been great. I really got to know him a bit more. I mean, he obviously tends to act more on the Roman side but the Greek comes out sometimes too."

I tilted my head in contemplation. "So, its like having a father and a best friend all in one?" I summarized.

"Yeah. See, you get me. Apollo is so crazy and dramatic it's ridiculous! His poems are terrible! Not to mention the-"

"HAIKUS!" I finished for her. "This one time, Percy told me he made a haiku about being awesome!"

Sam snorted in a very unladylike manner. "Puh-leaze. I've heard like 20 different variations of those haikus, and they're all terrible."

We both burst into peals of laughter and the student council slowly began trickling in. Blake and Amber came running in holding sparkly pink clipboards in their hands followed by a bunch of vaguely familiar student and most surprisingly, Malcolm and Jake trailing after them.

I walked up to my brother quietly as their backs were turned and place my hands on their shoulders. "Dear brothers, may I ask what on earth you are doing here."

I saw various shades of pink and red crawl up the back of their necks. When they turned around, their faces represented a very red tomato.

"Well I mean-" Jake started

"Those girls just-" Malcolm stuttered

"We like-"

"They just"

"Closer?" They ended up squeaking in unison.

Sam scrunched her nose together and tilted her head to the right. "Did you get any of that? She asked.

"I got this. I'm fluent in idiot" I replied. "Jake and Malcolm have a massive crush on Blake and Amber respectively so they decided to go to school to get closer to them."

My brothers turned a more violent shade of red as they visibly shrunk under the amused stare of my best friend.

"Speaking of which" Sam grinned as Blake and Amber bounced up to our position.

Amber bounced up to Malcolm, placing her head on his right shoulder causing my nerdy brother to turn into a fire as Blake stepped up next to Jake directing a sweet smile at him.

"Hey Annabeth!"

"Hi Amber" I greeted enthusiastically. "I didn't know you were in student council."

"President actually" she stated, grinning happily. "Blake's my co-pres. You can't leave things like prom and school dances to the likes of the school nerds. They come in handy for budgets though. I call them my advisors."

Sam turned purple from holding her breath so as not to burst into insane laughter due to the lovestruck expressions my brothers were currently pulling. "Well, I'm glad you're here than, Amber."

Blake pouted and turned to Jake, pouting heavily. "Baby, they forgot about me."

Jake took Blake's hand and held them to his chest. "You will always come first in my heart."

She visibly melted and cried "Isn't he just the sweetest."

A loud bang came from my left as Samuel came rushing into the room. He came to a skittering stop by Amber's side and bent over, panting, shouting between breaths. "Forgot…sorry…so out of shape…won't do it again…"

Amber gave him a distasteful look. "You're lucky that you're so good at your job. Otherwise I would have fired you from StuCo ages ago. I'm taking half of you're paycheck this week." She snapped, though not angrily enough to be taken seriously.

Samuel straightened and gave her a strange look. "You don't pay me…"

Amber raised an eyebrow before commenting, "I know, it just sounded dramatic." Then with that, she pecked Malcolm on the cheek and went sprinting to the highest bleacher.

"OK GUYS!" She screamed over the chatter students. "Please sit so we can get this planning done."

Student slowly began trickling towards the bleachers as the StuCo members stepped in front of the risers.

Blake made a note on her sparkly clipboard and clapped her hands commanding attention. "First order of business! We need a theme for your going away party. We need some suggestions! Just throw them out and we'll have the school vote for one."

Hands shot up all over the room and suggestions were thrown out as Amber jotted these answers down with her glittery purple pen.

"James Bond!"

"Black and White!"

"New Years!"

"Winter Wonderland!

"Valentines Dance!" There was an immediate silence as the dopey guy in the back just spat out the first theme he could think of.

"Dude..it's January. Not February just yet…"

"Youtube Theme!"

5 minutes later Amber called for a stop, waving her meticulously manicured hands in the air. Ok, so StuCo will look through the list weeding out things that will be too high budgeted. Then we'll post a list up tomorrow for students to vote and the results will be posted on Wednesday. Dance will be on Friday in this lovely gymnasium. No tickets are needed. Just have fun. OK…meeting adjourned. Have a lovely day."

With that, the rest of StuCo went scurrying out of the room leaving us Californian students sitting confusedly on the benches.

Ms Marina stepped up to the plate. "Ok, so for today, you will be showing a student. We gave a you a form last week asking who you wanted to shadow for a day and we have their schedules printed out for you. We're already in second period so once you get your schedule you can head to the class you're friends in."

Sam and I both got a sheet with the name "Percy Jackson" printed in bold letters at the top.

"Second Period" Sam states, "Ancient Greek."

"Huh" I laughed. "Sure, why not." and we took off towards the classroom where Percy and our friends sat chatting in the corner.

We ran in just as the bell went off. "Hello, you must some of the student from California joining us today. My name is Ms. Marcos." the teacher stated in heavily accented Greek.

I was about to answer when she spoke again, this time in english. "That means-"

"I know" Same stated, her spunky attitude kicking in. "I understand perfectly, and Annabeth speaks fluent Greek."

The teacher narrowed her dark eyes, eyebrows furrowing. "Oh yeah, well what am I saying right now?"

I rolled my eyes and sought out Percy in the sea of students who was currently knitting his eyebrows confusedly. The teacher's snarky voice pissed me off and my hubris glowed obviously as I snapped back, "I have no idea. Your accent is so terrible I can barely understand you."

Percy, Piper and the rest of the Greek speakers in the class let out a "ohhhhhhh" and the snotty teacher sniffed unhappily.

Percy grinned and maneuvered in his chair to smile at me. "Hey Wise Girl, you're just in time for the worst class in the world."

Well hello guys! It's been a while. Not much Percabeth fluff in this chapter but there was more of Blake/Jake (can you even make a ship name for that?) and Mamber? Haha ok, whatever. Just let me know what you guys think that the ship names should be.

Also, shoot a few suggestions for the goodbye dance theme. Next chapter, I'll post the most repeated ideas and you guys can vote. Also make up some ship names.

There will be 2 more chapters after this. Next chapter will be triple date between Percabeth, Blake/Jake, and Amber/Malcolm (maybe even Sam/Samuel, if you guys wants it enough ;) and the last chapter will be the dance and a lot of Percabeth fluff while they say goodbye. It's been a long ride and I am thankful for all who are still reading this totally horrible long drawn out fanfiction.

It's almost over guys! Now remember, review with these 2 things: Ship Names and Dance Theme! I LOVE YOU ALL.
