So this is the chapter I have been fangirling over XD

Buraian's POV

I ate lunch in silence as the other three guilds chatted to their hearts content. I couldn't just dismiss the conversation I just had with 'him'. I wouldn't be able to protect her, no one would be able to protect her... but I did have the chance to warn everyone, and maybe then they'd be more prepared... You know we wouldn't allow you to warn your little companions. There's nothing you can do to stop us. I almost groaned as I yelled back to the voice in my head, I will tell them. I have a strong enough will to control myself until the party. You know that as well. The voice sighed, Yes. Go ahead, be my guest, warn them. They will not be able to prevent this from happening, even if they know. Plus, I think I can just wipe them out in their sleep. I could practically hear the smirk in his voice. If I wanted to warn them, I need to do it now. I looked at everyone around the table and my gaze stopped on Miss Lucy. As if she could feel my eyes, she looked at me and smiled.

"Prince Buraian?" I smiled back at Lucy. I took a deep breath and stood up. Everyone immediately looked at me, "I have to tell you something before it's to late." The talking soon hushed and I continued, "In case you didn't notice... I've been acting fairly strange... and Sting, Gray, Natsu... I know you heard the conversation... I'm actually the rose dragon slayer, taught by a dragon... I know you dragon slayers also heard my threat... but in fact that wasn't me. Well it was, but currently Miss Lucy is in danger..." Lucy's eyes widened, "Prince?! What do you mean?!" I looked at Lucy, "Do not worry. I am sure we can prevent it. There is someone who is after her, and the 10 precious golden keys of the zodiac she has. They are also wanting her, because... well... She's Lucy Heartfilia, daughter or Jude Heartfilia, very beautiful, very powerful, very smart..." Rogue spoke, "When. When are they going to come?" I nodded at him, "Good question, tomorrow. During the party, I don't know exactly when... I do know that they will do something to put me out of action, and they will send someone to distract you guys as well." Rogue stood up, "Then we will not get distracted. I will stay with her at all times with Little Wendy." Wendy smiled, "Of course I will stay with Lucy-san."

I told them the details and we agreed on a plan. Tomorrow, Rogue and Wendy are assigned to stay with Lucy at all times, and Natsu will keep an eye on her from either a distance or close by. Sting and Gray will be searching for suspicious people, and Erza and the Trimens will make sure the guests are safe if anything happens. Ichiya is to protect the crown, we wouldn't want it to be taken in the havoc. What an excellent plan you have there. We shall prepare to work around it. I wonder if that Rogue person gets hot around women. I rolled my eyes, "Rogue Cheney. Do not get distracted by sexy women. Sting Eucliffe, same with you. Actually, no one get distracted by sexy women..." Rogue blushed and I heard him mumbled softly, "I shall not take my eyes off Luce..." I smiled, so he's in love... and so is Mr Dragneel, although he is stupidly dense and doesn't realise it... I decided to tell them something important, "By the way... I think you should know that I can actually read minds. So I know what you're thinking, but I have the ability to turn it off as well." I looked at Rogue, "And do not forget as a dragon slayer I have enhanced hearing as well." Rogue blushed and looked away. He must have realised that I heard, along with all the other dragon slayers in the room.

Rogue's POV

I blushed as I remembered that I was in the room with four other dragon slayers, Sting already knew about it... but I wasn't sure about the others... Then Natsu is quite dense and probably didn't notice the hidden meaning behind what I said. Prince Buraian (I ditched the insult in case he could hear it) dismissed us to continue to decorate the mansion, I went to Luce before anything though. I smiled at her, "Luce... Are you alright with the turn of events?" She just gave a small smile, "Well it sure was unexpected... I just have to be really careful from now on." I gently took her hand and held it in mine, "Don't worry Luce. I'm here to protect you." She blushed and I felt my face heating up as well. I could feel my heart beating faster and faster as she looked into my eyes, her beautiful brown eyes. Natsu soon came to interrupt the moment and slung his arm around Luce, "We should get back to decorating guys!" I held in my growl and nodded, letting go of Luce's hands reluctantly. We walked back to the ballroom and began work again. Maybe tomorrow I can get the opportunity to dance with Luce... That would be nice...

We had finished decorating, and we had worked well into the night. The half shaped moon was out and shining brightly, I was lying on the fresh, green grass outside and looked at the twinkling stars. There was a cool breeze in the air and the sound of silence echoed in the empty space. It was beautiful. I heard light footsteps approaching from behind, and soon someone was lying down next to me. I smiled as I recognised Luce's scent. I saw from the corner of my eye, her blonde hair blowing gently in the wind, her eyes gazing at the stars above. She turned to me, "Rogue?" I looked at her, "Yes?" She smiled, "The stars are beautiful tonight... Do you like stars?" I looked back up at the sky, "Yeah... The stars are nice... It reminds me that there's something bigger out there..." "My mama used to stargaze with me... She taught me all about the constellations, she was also a celestial mage... I miss her..." I flipped on my side to looked at her properly, "If I join Fairy Tail, do you want to watch the stars with me every night?" She blushed and turned on her side to look at me as well, "I would love that Rogue..." I smiled, I would stay up all night if it meant I could be with you... Doing something that makes you happy, it makes me happy as well...
