Night time~
"Alright, Fuji. What did you want to show me, now that almost everyone's asleep?" Kotaro(she still has Sanada's cap) questioned standing in front of Fuji Shusuke, who was admiring his cactus.
"Ah. Fuma-kun remembered." He pointed out.
"Of course. There's no way I'd forget the way you said it after all." She pouted.
"Haha. How cute." Fuji chuckled.
"W-what are you talking about!? Are you gonna show me something or not? Jeez!" Kotaro scoffed.
"I'm just kidding." He implied.
"Why just me?" She asked.
"Because you remind me of Yuta." Fuji answered.
"Your..." Kotaro trailed off.
"My little brother. He goes here too." He finished rummaging through a drawer.
"Ohhhh that kid with a "x" scar on his forehead. I pity him if he goes through this everyday of his life." Kotaro sighed.
"Alright, let's go." Fuji said taking out a flashlight.
"We're going outside?" She questioned.
"Yep. Now just follow me. It's not against the rules." He said smiling.
"Ooooooooooookay." Kotaro stretched out.
.
As they walked out of the dorms, the courts, and onto a trail that leads in to the woods, Kotaro had a melancholy feeling. This place...
"Fuji. What day is it today?" She asked.
"It's Thursday." Fuji answered.
"Wow. What a big coincidence." Kotaro commented.
"What's wrong?" He questioned.
"Nooothing." She chimed pushing Fuji towards the direction they were walking.
.
"Ah. We're almost there," Fuji pointed out, "But before we go any farther..." He covered Kotaro's eyes with his hands while standing behind her and put away the flashlight.
"W-what are you doing?!" Kotaro sputtered trying to pull away. Fuji tightened his grip.
"Just trust me. I found this a few days ago after we were training." He stated while starting to walk.
.
.
"Okay," Fuji finally said letting go, "Here we are."
Kotaro blinked open her eyes and took a nice look at the scenery. Bright yellow fireflies soaring through the moonlight reflecting off the shiny droplets of water from the leaves of the tree branches. She started laughing. Fuji was stunned.
"Ahh...haha... Sorry Fuji," Kotaro apologized calming down, "It's just that, a long time ago, exactly a year ago in fact, someone really important did the same thing. I couldn't help but laugh."
"I see. Who brought you here before?"
"Ah! Look at that!" She pointed out. A whole row of fireflies flying in a line.
"Hahaha! What a sight."
Enjoying the sight of the fireflies, Fuji can not help but wonder why Fuma dodged his question like that. But no matter, it's probably not that big.
.
.
"Let's go back now. *yawn* I'm getting tired." Kotaro suggested.
"Okay." Fuji agreed.
.
Morning~Kotaro's POV
"Fuma-kun, time to wake up." Fuji called.
"Yea. Gimme 5 more minutes." I grumbled rolling over.
"Get yer butt out of that bed!" Shiraishi yelled yanking off my blanket.
"AKLFJDKSGJHGJHVNFJ! Fine..." I growled suddenly falling off the bed.
"Opps. I forgot to warn you. When I woke up, the ladder wasn't there." Fuji said.
"Owwww...Why is there long hair here?" I asked holding up a long piece of wavy light brown hair, "Fuji, is this yours?"
"No. My hair isn't that long." He denied.
"My hair isn't this light or long..." I pointed out.
"But first of all, shouldn't we worry about the missing ladder?" Shiraishi questioned.
"Meh. We can deal with that later. Imma go and train now." I scoffed walking outside putting Sanada's cap on my head. While walking out to the courts, I suddenly bumped into someone.
*BUMP*
"Hey! Watch where you're going, $ *&$!" I heard after bumping into someone.
"What was that?!" I snapped turning around. A maid was innocently holding her plate of hot towels. She had long wavy light brown hair, big anime eyes, every feature of a guy's dream girl, and was wearing the typical maid outfit. "Urm...Did I bump into you?" I asked nicely.
"Oh no. You didn't" She answered with her sincere voice, "But I did see a stern tall man with short black hair. Perhaps he was the one you bumped into?"
What?! There would be no way I'd miss someone like that.
"You have some pretty long wavy hair." I pointed out tugging her hair a little.
"Thank you. I take good care of it everyday." She said twirling her own hair.
"I'm sure you do. You know...You're hair is veeery familiar. I should've sworn I've seen it somewhere. In my dorm room in fact." I suspiciously said.
"W-well, it's non of my business. I have never been in anyone's room besides the maid's quarters, this morning." The maid informed.
"Are you sure?" I interrogated.
"Yes, I am positively sure," She answered, "Now if you'll excuse me, there are tennis players who need water."
During training~3rd Person POV~
"Here you go, Kazuya-kun." A maid said offering a towel.
"Ah. Thanks." Tokugawa replied taking the towel to wipe his sweat.
"Water, Kanata-sempai?" Another maid asked holding out a water bottle.
"Thank you very much." Irie sweetly said taking the bottle.
"Shuuji-san. Want some cold towels?" Another one asked holding out a plate full of iced towels.
"Ohhh! Thank you!" Tane exclaimed taking a towel.
The large group of maids walked right past me.
"Urm...Hello? Where's my water?" Kotaro asked.
"Can't you get your own?" They scoffed and walked away, "I swear, that girl is so conceited, thinking she'll have a maid at her side all the time."
"Excuse meee?" She sighed crossing my arms.
"Tough day, isn't it?" Tokugawa questioned handing me a water bottle.
"Thanks. I guess it is." Kotaro replied taking the bottle.
"But isn't it weird how they didn't serve JUST you? Even the guys they normally don't hand out refreshments to, got one." Tanegashima pointed out.
"Maaaan! That's not fair." She whined leaning back on the wall.
"Excuse me, may I get another water bottle?" A voice asked.
"Of course!"
The person poked out from the bleachers.
"Here you go, Fuma-chan." He offered holding out a water bottle.
"Thanks Fuji!" Kotaro thanked taking a big sip of the water, "What brings you here?"
"I was just wondering how you were doing. Since you took quite a fall this morning." Fuji chuckled.
"Jeez! I'm fine! It's not like I'm grateful or anything. Just cause you gave me some water. tch." She scoffed getting back to practice.
"Haha. That's cute." Fuji laughed.
"What? You actually thing this gorilla of a woman is 'cute'?" Tanesgashima protested. A tennis ball flew straight onto Tanegashima's head.
"Why not?" He questioned with his usual smile.
"You have the worst taste in women..."
.
.
"Oi, Sanada. Here's your cap back." Kotaro informed placing it back on his head.
"It's about time!" He scoffed adjusting it.
"Hey! I have issues with you too, man!" She snapped. Sanada looked confused.
"What are you talking about?"
"Were you the one that cussed at me after you bumped into me?" Kotaro asked, "Cause you said some mean things. Well... 'thing'."
"I admit I walked by your dorm this morning but...it was at 7 am." He answered.
"Are you sure!? Yuh absolutely sure?!" She interrogated.
"Yes, I am SURE!" Sanada yelled.
"Good!" Kotaro smiled and walked passed Sanada.
So that maid lied to me...
"Hey! Don't just walk away!" Sanada shouted in the distance.
Maan. World History is a pain. Especially being in a collage course class. I'd rather learn Animeology.
