Dave watched Puck who was leaning against the locker next to Kurt's smiling at the boy. Dave took a breath as he walked up to the running back.
"Excuse me; can I please talk to you for a minute?" Dave asked.
Puck raised an eyebrow. "Uh huh, sure."
The hallway went dark with the only bright lights shining on the two players as they circled each other. In the background the other students faded except for Kurt who was laughing with Mercedes, unaware of the events happening around him.
"I just wanted to let you know, he's mine," Dave growled.
"Uh, no, no he's mine," Puck snorted.
Music started to play, but no one seemed to notice, as the two boys aggressively postured in each other's face and began to sing.

Dave pushed Puck hard as he sang.
I think it's time we got this straight

Puck laughed as he sang, holding up one of his famous guns, striking a pose.

Losing his patience, Dave slammed Puck into the lockers. His baritone voice was stinging with sarcasm.
See I tried to hesitate

Twisting and pushing back just as hard as before, Puck reversed their positions. His voice and meaning were clear as he ran his own hand across his chest suggestively while singing out the next verse.

Dave sat on one side of Kurt and Puck sat on the other. Around the class room none of the students were paying attention to the boys singing.

Kurt continued to work on his work as Puck draped his arm across the counter-tenor's shoulders. The contempt he felt oozed from his throat as he sang and smirked in the right guard's direction.

Dave tried to keep his temper in check. He pushed Puck's arm off Kurt before singing his part.

Puck stood up to shove the other boy, his chair falling backward.

Shaking his head, Dave grabbed Puck by the shirt, the next verse gritted out through his teeth before he flung the other boy backward at the end.

The field was still wet and muddy from the recent rain as the whole team ran out to practice. The Cheerios could be seen practicing off to the side and both boys stared at Kurt. Once they realized the other was staring they faced off again.

Finn tried to hold Puck back before he could take a swing at Dave. All he managed to do was slow down the impact some as Puck lunged while singing.

Azimo tried to step between the boys, but Dave managed to get in another strong shove as he sang.

The entire football team stood around unsure what was happening while watching the two boys fight it out on the ground. Finally, Coach waded into the fight and pulled the two apart yelling at everyone to get back to their drills before she sent the pair off to run laps.
