Happy Second Birthday!

(Renesmee's POV)

I blinked a few times. The light began to shine in my eyes from the window. I could tell it was a beautiful sunny day right off the bat. Soon, I was grinning from ear to ear. I jumped out of bed, the excitement overfilling within me. The day I have waited for such a long time was finally here. Today was my birthday! I was finally two years old now! I was getting closer and closer to becoming a big girl!

"Morning birthday girl!" I turn around to see both of my parents in the doorway. I smile seeing them.

"Ready for the birthday festivities?" Daddy asked me. I nodded eagerly.

"But, there's something we have to do before that," My momma announced, walking over to me.

"What?" I questioned curiously.

Momma smiled, "Well...Daddy and I want to give you our present first."

"You guys didn't have to," I mentioned. I felt bad when people got me gifts sometimes. I guess I'm like my momma in that way.

"Angel, it's your birthday. Of course we got you something. You deserve it," Daddy told me. I blushed, the heat rising in my cheeks, as my parents both knelt down in front of me. Momma then took a tiny little box out that she hiding behind her. She carefully places it in my hands and gently, I open it up to see there's an elegant charm bracelet in it.

"It's so pretty!" I gushed, looking at all the beautiful dangling charms hanging from the sliver bracelet. There was a book, a music note, a wolf, a lion, a lamb, an umbrella for the Forks weather, and then there was pair of sunglasses representing Brazil.

"Thank you so much, it's a really great present!" I exclaimed, going in to hug both of my parents.

"You're welcome, baby," Momma whispered, kissing my temple.

"Nessie! I got your outfit all ready," Aunt Alice sung from the other room. "And you're going to love it!"

"Go to your Aunt before she bursts from excitement." Momma chuckled. I giggled before skipping away to where my aunt was waiting for me.

In the bathroom, I change into a purple and pink polka-dot dress Aunt Alice got me. It was a summer dress with two thick straps. The dress flowed down to around my knees. Once the dress was on though, Aunt Rosalie does my hair into a two braided pigtails tied in two pink ribbons. Soon I am finally all ready for my birthday festivities.

"Happy Birthday, Ness!" Jacob greeted me the moment I left the bathroom. I grinned, running over to hug him. He scooped me up in his big arms and gave me a tight squeeze.

"Thanks, Jakey," I said.

"But now, I got something I think you might wanna see," He said once the two of us pulled apart. He then handed me a box wrapped in newspaper. "Sorry, I didn't have the chance to find any wrapping paper."

"That's okay! I love it already!" I exclaimed, grinning up at him. Jacob chuckled while I went to rip the paper off the package.

When I open it I find a necklace with a little wooden wolf charm on the end. I look in awe at the beautiful gift Jacob just gave me. I twirl the chain around in the air, getting a 360 look of the necklace.

"I made the wolf myself," Jacob stated proudly.

"It's so pretty, thank you Jake!" I lean over to give him a kiss on the cheek. When I pull away though, I feel my cheeks go hot. Jacob smiles at me, but I just look down at my feet in embarrassment.

"Come on the others are pretty excited to give you there gifts," he told me, offering his hand.

I smiled, feeling the embarrassment subside. I then drag Jacob to the living room where everyone else should be right now. When I get in there the whole family is smiling and sitting around the couches. The whole place was covered in party decorations. I think Aunt Alice had a big say in this because of all the pink. There were a bunch of other colors, but pink was the most predominate of them. She did a really good job though. I then turn to see a gigantic pile of presents in the corner.

"Wow," was all that came out of my mouth while I marveled at the huge pile of presents. When I mean it was huge, it was mountainous. I could probably get lost in that sea of presents.

"Happy Birthday!" My entire family cheered.

"Thank you guys so much! You didn't have to!" I replied, the blush creeping on my cheeks.

"It's your birthday squirt, we wanted to!" Uncle Emmett exclaimed, picking me up and tossing me up in the air. "Renesmee's two! We gotta obviously celebrate that!"

"Thanks again, this was really thoughtful of you guys," I said, looking around at everyone once Uncle Emmett placed me down.

"Just like your mother," My daddy said, chuckling. My mother rolled her eyes, but smiled once Daddy kissed her cheek.

"Alright Nessie, open whatever you want first," Aunt Alice chimed. I nodded eagerly before I dove into my pile of presents.

There were so many presents! My family is truly awesome! Aunt Rosalie, Uncle Emmett, Lily, and Aidan got me a Nintendo DS and a vanity. I got a play house with some toys from my grandparents, a whole new wardrobe from Aunt Alice and Uncle Jasper, water toys from Jacob, some books from Momma, and my lullaby and some of my other favorites on a CD from Daddy.

"Cake time!" Aunt Alice sung as she now wheeled in a small cake from the kitchen. It was elegantly decorated. She had to have gotten this from a bakery. Bright green fondant covered it with little flowers made of chocolate. On top read Happy Birthday Renesmee. Just by it's scent, I could tell it was red velvet with cream cheese icing, my favorite! Even though I do prefer blood, sweets were one of my weaknesses.

"Thank you Aunt Alice," I told her, causing her to smile.

"No problem sweet angel, now everyone let's sing!" Aunt Alice chimed.

Everyone then began to sing as I am in between my parents and Jakey. I'm blushing the whole time they are singing. I go to burry my face into Momma's shoulder in embarrassment. Her cool skin felt nice against my overheated skin. When they're done I go to blow out the two candles.

"Did you make a wish?" Grandma asked me.

"Not really, I have everything I ever wanted. I got the best family in the whole entire world," I announced, causing everyone to smile warmly at me.

I go to have myself a big slice of cake with Jakey. Aunt Rose even fed Lily and Aidan some and I could tell they took a liking to it.

"So what do you want to do angel? It's your day," Momma said, her hand resting against my back.

"Can we go swimming?" I bat my eyes at my parents. My parents laughed before we all then get ready to go swimming in the water. I change into a new pink bathing suit from Aunt Alice and rush into the cool water.

Aunt Alice, Uncle Emmett, Uncle Jasper, Momma, Daddy, and Jakey joined me in a game of vampire super water tag. Aunt Rosalie stayed by the shallow end with Lily and Aidan as they splashed around the waves. Grandma and Grandpa were up there as well arm and arm watching all of us as they strolled by the waves.

"Hey who wants to see me cannon ball again!" Uncle Emmett shouted out to all of us as he climbed up on a nearby rock.

"NO!" We all cried out in fear.

"Fine!" he pouted.

The whole family laughed while Uncle Jasper went to 'drown' Uncle Emmett. Those two just ended up wrestling in the water while the rest of us still played games in the water with the new toys Jakey got me. I had a bunch of water guns now, so we used those to squirt each other. It was boys against girls. Grandma and Grandpa even joined in on the fun once the water guns came into play.

After hours of swimming around I was exhausted. Momma set me up a nice bath using Strawberry bubble bath soap to relax in. After I was done with my bath, I got changed into a pair of my blue pajamas with little wolves on them and had Aunt Rosie put my hair up in a french braid for bed tonight.

I spent the last few moments of my birthday watching my favorite movie, Peter Pan, cuddled between my parents and Jake. Scott was cuddled close to me as sleep began to take over me. Soon I was out like a light and my amazing day was done.
