I screamed and screamed but she was already gone. Hurtling towards the ground. Dead.

"No, no, no!" I cried. I wasn't silently crying any more, I was sobbing. Heart breaking sobs that you only ever let out when you loose some precious. "Yasmin!" I sobbed, my voice breaking. My knees buckled and I fell towards the ground. Strong hands caught me, hoisting me back up.

"Now it's your turn." David announced. I was too numb to care. I didn't care anymore. She was dead. My best friend was dead. He'd killed her and now he was going to kill me. His arm was under my throat and something hard was pressed against my temple. A gun.

I don't know how but glancing over at Victor and Trace I noticed that they were weaponless. Their faces as white as sheets. It must be his gift, I thought. Either that or he used strong telekinesis. Xav stepped forward with his arms raised like he was surrendering.

"Come on David, you know you don't want her. She's not what you want." Even though I was sobbing, I sobered long enough to send a steady glare at Xav. Then I remembered that he didn't know I was his soulfinder yet he was still trying to save me.

" Shes exactly what I want." He declared.

"No she's not, she hasn't found her soulfinder yet." His brow furrowed and he looked over at me but I refused to look him in the eye. "Have you?" Xav questioned.

David let out a sharp bitter laugh.

"Oh my dear boy, your so blind, of course she's found her soul finder." He told them. I kept my head bowed so I couldn't see their faces. However, I heard the sound of faint gasps. David's arm tightened on my throat. "Go on, tell them who your precious soulfinder is." He pressured. I almost felt sorry for them, they probably thought he was a mass murderer like this dick. Who I really didn't want to piss off at the moment because of the gun that was pressed to my head. I lifted my head to meet Xavs gaze but something in the corner of my eye caught my attention.

Jamie. Jamie's puffy red face was now lit up like he'd just won the lottery. And in a way he had because sitting beside him was a small white dove with bright blue eyes. Blue eyes that I would recognise anywhere. Yasmin. She'd come back.

A small smile broke out on my face and I met Xav's gaze with my new found courage.

'You' I sent. He stumbled back in shock. His eyes widened as he looked over at me.

"Oh my god." He breathed. David let out another sharp laugh.

"Too bad I'm going to kill her after you've just found her." He taunted. Xav's eyes grew some more. My eyes pleaded him not to cause a big palaver.

'I have a plan.' I told him.

'And what's that?'

'I'm going to release my gift.'

Releasing it was quite an easy thing to do despite having kept it locked up for fourteen years. It was like a secret box. Once you found the key it was no problem.

I could feel my body waiting in anticipation but I couldn't let it loose yet. There was still the minor problem of the gun threatening to shoot my brains out.

'Use telekinesis.' I ordered.

'For what?' I sighed and rolled my eyes.

"I'd suggest you stop using telepathy." David warned.

"Or what? You'll kill me?" I asked.

"Well I do seem to have a track record."

"What's so different about me? Do you have a soft spot? You finally realised how sick you really are?"

'Cami' Xav warned, his voice lace with worry as he edged closer.

'Get the gun out of his hand using telekinesis.' I told him and then continued my conversation with David. I wasn't scared anymore. Some sixth sense was telling me he would not shoot. He wouldn't shoot me but it would stop him killing other people. That's why I had to kill him. "Something in you won't let you kill me. You won't kill me. Your so strong enough. Your a weak pathetic fool who has nothing better to do than kill people as revenge for losing your soulfinder. Do you think she would be proud of you? You you think she's happy? That she still loves you?" I asked. I could feel him getting more and more agitated. His body was trembling.

"Your wrong." He seethed, I felt his finger move towards the trigger. I didn't panic. I remained calm although I drew in one sharp breath as if to steady myself.

"Am i?" Then there was a loud crash and the gun exploded from David's hand and into the wall opposite. I twisted the key and out poured my long lost gift. I breathed in the familiar feeling as the washed over my skin.

"You are wrong." David whispered in my ear. "You think just because I haven't got the gun that I can't kill you? You, my dear, have no idea." He moved his free arm to hold my waist to him. I laughed a bitter laugh mimicking him.

"I am not wrong. I always win. You thought you'd killed Yasmin, well look over there, she's still alive. You though you could kill me when you clearly can't. You thought you could get away with all these murderers well you can't. Your never going to find out whether you can because your going to die." I told him.

"And how are you going to do that?"

"I control the elements" I notified him. I flicked my wrist and Air filled me, followed by Fire, Water and Earth. They all filled me, making me powerful.

I spun my finger round in a circle an Air immediately responded to me. It whirled in the air, round and round, creating a mini tornado. This was were I expected him to let go of me and to run but he never. He kept his grip tight. My thoughts whirled wildly around my head just like my tornado.

I had a sudden idea that would kill David once and for all. 'Sometimes in chess you have to sacrifice a pawn to take down the king' I thought to myself. That's what I was taught when I used to play chess. Don't ask, I went through a nerdy stage. One of my many fazes since my parents died. My dad and my mum, you will never understand how much I miss them. It wouldn't be long until I saw them again, I reassured myself.

I squeezed my eyes shut. "I'm about to sweep you off your feet." I called and then I flicked my wrist towards me, sending the ball of wind hurtling toward us. Flinging me off of the tall building and bringing David down with me.
